Untitled Document #3!
Ooooh, this is actually a good one.
I don't remember if I ever posted it anywhere, but it's a starter for a fic exploring how Koga met/got Moroha.

Untitled WIP: Koga Meets Moroha
It was dawn. Pre-dawn, actually. The sky wasnāt even red with daybreak yet and there was a commotion outside the caves, all the early-morning lookouts thrown into a racket by something. It didnāt matter to them that it was too god damn early for that sort of noise, apparently, and since none of them had come running for him and warning of an attack, Koga could only assume whatever the reason was had to be incredibly stupid.Ā
Koga rubbed his eyes and stared sleepily up at the brightening sky.
And it was.
A ridiculously phallic-like, gourd-shaped creature floated in the air above the summit valley, staring down at them with the two ugliest eyes Koga thought he had ever seen. Everything about the yellow thing was ugly and irregular, from its presence to its silent frown to its weird lack of form, and Koga wrinkled his nose. It even smelled weird.
Crossing his arms over his bare chest, he opened his mouth to bark and order for the thing to scram if it didnāt want to die, but a gust of wind ruffled through his loose hair before the words left his mouth--and with it came the scents of others.
Of Kagome.
Of InuYasha.
Jaw clicking shut, Koga stared a little bit harder at the thing that floated in the sky. It wasnāt the kitsune; kitsune didnāt look like that even on their worst days, and he knew what that little brat smelled like. This wasnāt that. And even though that was definitely Dog Breathās scent on the wind, he didnāt see the red-clad moron anywhere--not on top of the Thing, not on the rim of the mountain walls, and not even skirmishing among his men.Ā
Kagome, too; nowhere to be found.
So he took another deep breath and barked an order for everyone to shut the hell up, staring intently at the odd Thing that had disturbed his morning. Ignoring the smell of it -- tanuki, maybe? -- he honed in instead on the familiar scents that drifted in with it.
Of Kagome.
Of InuYasha.
Of both, but neither.
Of something else.
Koga felt his blood turn to granite in his veins as he realized what exactly had just wandered into his pack on this early, panicked, blood-red morning.

Anybody else ever start on a fic but you donāt have a title for it yet and it lives so long asĀ āUntitled Documentā that you kind of just want to title it that by the time youāre done.Ā
Nostalgia
I just finished (re)reading Perks of Being A Wallflower, which I once regarded as my favorite book.Ā
I first read it my freshman year of high school, and looked at all the senior experiences mentioned in a kind of longing, hopeful way. I reread it once in high school, but before senior year. Now, Iām a sophomore in college, and I read it in a nostalgic way.
Though itās no longer my favorite book, I still love it for all the reasons I did before. I think Iāll always love that it talks about suicide, abortion, depression, sexual assault, mental health, lgbt relationships, and so much more so openly. But now I read it and can relate to a lot more of it than I was hoping for going into high school. Nonetheless, Iām nostalgic about graduating.Ā
If you havenāt read Perks yet, I highly recommend you get a copy immediately. Itās amazing.

And yet, somehow an entire evening had passed, and still Annabel hadnāt written any words. She hadnāt even named her Google doc.
Imprudent though it seemed, she gave in and went to bed.
