General hcs about Chris! Sfw!

-he bites his nails, nervous habit but also he just does it all the time.

-he breaks his glasses every couple of months bc he’s clumsy and he usually leaves them somewhere and they get squished.

-he can’t wear contacts, can’t put his fingers in his eye without getting freaked out, but can watch a slasher movie without flinching.

-more on that, he will watch the scariest movie ever, be fine… and then if he sees a spider in the corner of his room he will consider moving out.

-his dad isn’t around, I’m not really sure where he went but his mom is a single mother and he’s an only child, when he gets a big tech job and makes a lot of money he’s going to buy her a house.

-because his mom didn’t have a lot of money growing up he went to a lot of Christian daycares (they’re cheaper) and he had to sit through a lot of religious teachings—he’s not religious, it’s too illogical for him.

-part of the reason he’s so fascinated with tech is because he didn’t have a lot of access to it growing up. So once he got his hands on it he wanted to learn everything he could about it. It became his obsession.

-he has always been a bit of a ‘class clown’ to cope with his fear of being disliked, ‘if I can make them laugh, they’ll like me right?’

-despite being very intelligent and doing well in school he was never super well liked by his teachers; he liked pointing out things like typos on tests (making some kind of joke to get a laugh from the class). he was never super disruptive, but he would take the opportunity to be a smart-ass when he could.

-lots of random obscure knowledge, that he loves any opportunity to bring up.

-he loves strawberry ice cream (the artificial flavored pink kind, he doesn’t want any chunks of strawberries in it).

-he loves scary movies, especially bad scary movies, he’s a sucker for practical effects (Josh shares this interest obviously) but Chris specifically loves when the practical effects are bad so he can make fun of them.

-he doesn’t have transition lenses so when he drives he’s wears sunglasses over his glasses LIKE A DORK

-he loves cold brew coffee (black, usually) but also loves energy drinks, not the fun flavor ones, the og ones that taste like chemicals.

-he gets high (weed) with friends but not usually by himself because he’ll start overthinking and getting anxious.

-this might be me projecting but I do think he may be neurodivergent in some way (adhd most likely but could also be on the spectrum and just isn’t diagnosed).

-he lifts weights but can also eat an entire pizza by himself so he’s that squishy kind of strong (he flexes and people are like ‘oh?! Those are under there?’).

-he was a Boy Scout for a very short amount of time, he quit after the first camping trip because he hated it. He always says “I’m what you call; indoorsy”. He still does the “Scouts honor” thing every once in a while when he’s trying to prove he’s being genuine.
