As someone who has worked with/met/is also related to families whose lives were impacted by organ donation: please don’t take perfectly usable body parts with you to the Great Beyond.
Can’t take it with you when you go, friends. Whatever’s waiting for us after this doesn’t care about your physical form.
USA (at least) fellow nerds: PLEASE sign the back of your driver’s license. You have no idea how many lives this can transform, should you pass before your time for any one of about 100,000 different reasons. And let’s be real, friends: if you’re already dead, your kidneys or liver or heart didn’t have much on their plates by that point. Might as well let someone else take them out on the road.
