My university library has new displays for every month and since this month is disability Pride month they used your flag!
That's cool! It looks like they've got a good bit of diversity in their representation, too.

Happy National Library Week! This year’s theme is “Libraries = Communities”, and we’re grateful to be part of the Collins Memorial Library community here at Puget Sound. From working with liaison librarians to create engaging class sessions for students to hosting library events, we love collaborating with the rest of the library staff!
For Library Postcard Monday here we have beautiful Harper Memorial Library, now the Arley D. Cathey Learning Center, from our University of Chicago Postcards Collection.
Person: How many library cards do you have?
Me: Yes.
My job situation is....less than ideal. I was wondering if anyone knows of a job opening, in the North Eastern United States, for a librarian?
I'm checking ALAJoblist and the usual boards. However, I want to ask the crowds as well.

i'm not too familiar with the public library community of tumblr (for regional reasons a lot of the advice doesn't apply) so idk if you're the right person to ask or if you can help get this to the right place but i recognize you as an outspoken advocate for libraries showing up on my dash, so i was wondering if you could help spread the word about the situation with Bahia Blanca (Argentina)'s university library (which like many universities in the south cone is publicly funded including the library services), here's a link about it: https://www.tumblr.com/vioredynamite/778029760892829696/reconstruir-la-uns (i'm not OP, but from another spanish speaking country so i have easier access to being up to date on this.)
I don't necessarily mean spreading the word to get donations if you're not comfortable with that, i genuinely get it if this ask seems like it's asking for money, it's not i'm mainly sharing that post with the follow up link for the photos section (and OP being a student from there), genuinely just more english speaking people knowing this is happening at all would mean a lot for the UNS and Bahia Blanca in general
Hey thanks for bringing this to my attention! I had no idea about the floods in Bahia Blanca or the loss of 80,000 books at the University library there. I googled it too and could find absolutely nothing in the English language media about this which is a complete travesty!
I hope the university gets their library back soon! Thanks for pointing me to a blog with more info; it was great to read and have reblogged some info for my library enthusiast followers 😊
