In October 2025, when the same union went on a week long strike because of the insultingly terrible offers from Kaiser, an ER physician at Kaiser called his striking colleagues "parasites" and were "dumb" for demanding safer staffing (federally mandated staffing!!!) and that KP's C-suite are not only working to back out of the unions but are actively working to replace all union staff with non-union contractors.

This came out in public via this post.

I highly suggest reading their report "Profits Over Patients" which describes not only the above, but also the $67+ BILLION IN RESERVES that this non-profit (in name only) has but will not spend on care.

But at least your doctor can use AI to record your 15-minute MAX appointment (that you waited 2 months to get) and then never verify its accuracy!

The way that the Nact-zi Government has absolutely gutted the public service sector to attempt to justify privatisation to seel off state owned assets to their donor mates is absolutely appaling

Everytime National comes into Government they attempt the exact same thing:

Try to run the Country like a business, help ther rich mates try to undermine citizen rights, and sell off State owned assets

Every single time

This entire debacle could be avoided if they reversed those unnecessary tax brakes for landlords, and didn't intentionally sabotage of the public health care ssem on behlaf of foreign owned insurance companies

Personally I'm hoping for the introduction of a CGT (as well as heavier regulation about these foreign owned companies getting taxed higher on money they take out of the country)
