this game really is dogshit sometimes. 2 hours into a slow stealthy run. i've got a great digging wand. i'm tunneling through the walls unseen by the enemies. father winter picks up a randomly generated wand that fires a death missile (damage > player starting health) with -720 degrees of accuracy. he tries to kill a nearby enemy, but he misses (obviously) and the death missile goes straight into the part of the wall i was hiding behind. he was not aware of my presence! one hit ko ends 3 game win streak.
noita tip: don't be horribly unlucky
according to the timetables from the college timetable portal my next class is in hogwarts or some shit
i know at least one person i know irl is gonna see this but fuck it
SONADOW IS A COOL SHIP DYNAMIC AND I LIKE IT
thank you

i wonder who's knocking at the door? oh, it's my long time friend! the feeling that everything i create is dogshit! ive missed you!!
I came very close to death once, as a child, but I never knew until many years later.
Home life was fraught. Parents were not kind. I liked to play toys and eat snacks in the basement closet. felt safer there.
when I was eleven years old or so, a hole opened up — a sinkhole behind the neighbor’s garage in the tall grass bordering the woods. first three feet deep and then six. Oh, the pit was quiet. the pit was safe. the pit was close enough to hear my name called but too far to see.
so i moved some stuff into the pit. i had library books, a science kit, some sharpened sticks to defend myself, snacks… it was a hideout! i made a cover out of sticks and grass, and for the next week i spent my afternoons after school in the pit. it was so quiet. my first real time to myself. a little bit surreal and magical. i loved the pit.
i found a six foot steel tube! at a construction site and put it in the pit. my awesome quarterstaff. by now, the pit was 8 feet deep and somewhat flared at the bottom. i could climb in and out using three platforms — rectangles of grass cover atop depressed columns of earth. i was a little scared of the lowest level, so i didn’t go down there.
the next day i got home from school and the pit was gone. the books were gone. the top ten inches of my quarterstaff were sticking out of the soil, bent 90°.
At the time, i thought that that dick, tinkey, had bulldozed my pit. now i know the forces involved in even a 2 ft trench collapse can kill a grown man.
i spent 5+ hours in a sinkhole that only existed for 10 days. if i use a uniform distribution, i died in that pit about 2% of the time, so this is my near death experience. haha, oops!
