Remember that Medusa oil I mentioned last week? Now it’s an unguent. There’s just something about smearing a scented balm all over skin and I couldn’t resist binding it together with beeswax to make something decadent. That sticky ball of labdanum is in here and I added Dittany of Crete, honey, and poplar buds and other intoxicatingly aromatic herbs and resins to bring out the woody, resinous sweetness. It’s really, really damned good. Only made a few of these. In the shop update tonight.

Lamiarum Unguenta is Latin for “witches’ ointment,” a paste made from various poisonous plants in a base of animal fat. This topical ointment was absorbed through the skin, allowing the psychoactive effects of the plant to elevate the mind to a trance-like state and aid in astral travel.
