This monolith of a skein of handspun (!!!) is about to become my next #unexpectedlyangular sample! 123g and somewhere over 600 yards (oops?), 11-12 WPI so dk/sport weight or so, and *hopefully* a fabulous cotton candy sunset stripey kind of thing! Boom! And ow. I definitely don't have the muscle strength built up yet for any marathon spinning sessions! First half of the fiber is spun up for my next #unexpectedlyangular sample for @carolinafiberfest! I replaced the motor in my nano about halfway through and it's amazing how much faster spinning goes when you don't have to stop after every ten minutes and let it rest because the wheel froze up! And here I thought I was just so much improved at my spinning that I was trying to make it go to fast. 😂 Nope! Right back to just past midway speed with a new motor.
