feminism is equality. when i see someone whether it be a man or woman in a comment section say 'i'm not a feminist i'm an equalist' etc it genuinely annoys me so much. like FEMINISM is and was always the fight for equality! never trying to put down men, just trying to up women in society. and in my class yesterday (english so ofc it gets political) a boy in my class said 'i don't know why it's called feminism and not something like equalism' like SORRY? it wasn't men fighting for their rights, it was women. so of course it would be called FEMINISM because it was FEMALES fighting for their rights that men have always had. i hate people uneducated about what feminism is. the DICTIONARY DEFINITION OF FEMINISM IS a range of social and political movements and ideologies aimed at defining, establishing, and achieving equal political, economic, personal, and social rights for women. It advocates for gender equality, seeking to eliminate sexism, discrimination, and patriarchal structures that oppress women and girls. NEVER here does it say it puts down men. if you want equal rights YOU my friend are a feminist. theres no inbetween between feminism and misogyny.

Here’s the simple, slightly detailed explanation no one asked for that I just NEED to say because this is geniunely so stupid and everyone needs to see why its so stupid:

1. Saving a customer service chat won't automatically create some sort of contract or a legally binded promise. Like I said before, customer support are never authorized to make corporate decisions regarding content and do not have access to internal information. Their responses are usually considered customer service communications, not contractual commitments.

2. For this claim— a “breach-of-contract” claim, if you will— to succeed, there typically needs to be a valid contract with identifiable obligations, along with a breach of said obligations. Support agents answering questions based on information officially given does not create a new legal contract.

3. A company changing its plans later is not automatically a violation. Businesses frequently revise development plans, marketing decisions, and their content. Unless there was any sort of legal binding commitment or misleading conduct recognized by the law (which this clearly is not), a simple change in plans won’t establish any sort of legal liability.

4. Now, let’s move on to their little threat about a full refund for all the money spent in games. Purchases were generally made for virtual goods, services, or content that has already been received when it was purchased. Disagreement with a business decision later on does not entitle a consumer to recover all past spendings. You received what you paid for when you made those purchases. It would be similar to someone going to a restaurant, ordering a meal, eating it, enjoying it, and then months later demanding a full refund because they disagreed with a new item the restaurant decided to add to its menu. The later decision does not erase the fact that the original product or service was delivered as promised at the time of purchase.

5. Customer service statements are not the final legal position of a company. Customer support representatives generally do not have the authority to make binding corporate decisions, and companies are allowed to change their plans in the future. Even if a support agent provides information that is accurate at the time, that does not necessarily prevent the company from making a different decision later as circumstances, policies, or business considerations change. Again, customer service is one of the lowest levels of company communication and is not the department responsible for sharing official decisions unless they have been specifically authorized to do so by the company.

I feel like if you’re going to dive into legalities, you should at least do the proper research first instead of confidently making claims that will not hold up under proper legal scrutiny.

If anything, trying to take action will make things even worse for them. Legal charge can be taken against them for things like spreading negativity, harassment towards the company and other players, hate speech, false information, using AI to create content and violating the game’s terms of service, and sending inappropriate materials to the company. These are all actions that can potentially violate platform rules or community guidelines and damage the credibility of the trolls making them.

This says a lot— A LOT— about the trolls and the antis.

I honestly hope this message doesn’t reach the antis so that if they do try to “take action”— that is, if they aren’t caught and arrested or taken legal action against yet by then— they end up wasting their own money and time, while simultaneously getting more than a taste of their own medicine. I’d love for them to meet the consequences of their own actions and learn a lesson. Clearly, they haven’t been educated, and watching them write their own downfall is so much fun.
