JACK IS BACK WITH A PAIR OF VANS
Yes, I’m talking about the tall skinny fella called Jack Skellington who was one of the main characters in Tim Burton’s already legendary holiday tale (if we may call it that) named The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is one of my favorite wintertime movies and now there are sneakers inspired by it. A lot of sneakers!Â
Vans made its move with a pop-cult story once again and this time it is particularly strong as the inspiration draws from Tim Burton’s fantasy world full of details, textures, characters, fabrics and much more. The classic dark-themed tale was displayed on many Vans silhouettes including the Slip-on, Era, Old Skool and Skate-Hi. Some of the models are very literal, other pieces just take clues from different scenes of the movie which almost makes them wearable characters from our favorite film.
The collection is playful and colorful enough so there is no need to write more about it. If you’re in love with Burton’s work, this one is a must for you and I guarantee you’ll have a hard time picking the best one (or you’ll pick three of them as I did :D). Get yours at Footshop now!
