dick grayson is 100% secretly doing drag and THRIVING and here's why

so we all know dick is like... the most confident person alive right?? mans will literally do a quadruple somersault off a building in a bright blue costume and call it tuesday. he's got that performer energy in his SOUL

and after the whole innocent onlyfans situation with his ass (go check that headcanon on my account if you haven't already lol) he's just even MORE confident about his body and his ability to absolutely serve looks

picture this: gotham's underground drag scene is THRIVING and there's this mysterious queen who just showed up one day and has been absolutely DESTROYING the competition ever since

nobody knows who she is. she goes by something like "Starlight Supreme" or "Lady Nightfall" (because of course dick would pick something space/night themed). always in the most gorgeous, sparkly, over-the-top outfits that probably cost more than most people's rent (thank you wayne family money)

and the THING is... nobody recognizes him??? like you'd think someone would clock the famous wayne ward/gotham's golden boy but nah. the wig game is STRONG, the makeup is flawless, and when dick grayson wants to disappear into a persona, he COMMITS

he probably started going just to watch because he heard about it through some of his contacts in the community, but then he saw a performance and was like "okay but i could do that better" (because he's dick grayson and physically incapable of not being extra)

so he shows up the next week in full drag and absolutely DEMOLISHES his first performance. we're talking like... aerial silk routines but make it DRAG. backflips in six-inch heels. the kind of performance that makes people question everything they thought they knew about physics and femininity

within a month he's got fan clubs. MULTIPLE fan clubs. there are instagram accounts dedicated to tracking his looks. people are getting his drag name tattooed on their bodies. gotham's drag scene has never seen anything like it

and dick is just... living his best life??? like this combines literally everything he loves. performing, acrobatics, gorgeous outfits, making people happy, being the center of attention in the best possible way

he probably has a whole secret setup in the manor. his own private dressing room that he's convinced alfred is just his "workout costume storage" or something. alfred 100% knows but pretends he doesn't because he's just happy to see dick so genuinely joyful

the NUMBERS he gets though!!! after every show there's like a LINE of people trying to buy him drinks and get his attention. he's got this whole flirty stage persona that's just confident enough to be captivating but mysterious enough that nobody can quite figure him out

and the confidence boost??? UNMATCHED. like dick was already pretty sure of himself but there's something about absolutely slaying in a sequined gown and having hundreds of people cheer for you that just hits different

he probably does themed nights too. "nightwing blue" looks that are suspiciously similar to his patrol colors. circus-themed performances that make him feel connected to his roots. classic old hollywood glamour that would make marilyn monroe weep

the batfam has NO IDEA. like tim's probably been to the same drag shows and was in the audience losing his mind over "starlight supreme" while having no clue he's cheering for his adopted brother

jason probably follows the instagram fan accounts and has definitely said something like "damn this queen is incredible" while scrolling through photos of dick in full drag

if they ever found out, bruce would have the most confusing crisis about whether to be proud of dick's artistic expression or concerned about his secret identity management. dick would just be like "well at least now you know why i'm never home on thursday nights"

but honestly??? this is dick's happy place. where he gets to be beautiful and powerful and celebrated just for being himself (but with better makeup and significantly more sequins)
