Katie felt a mix of emotions about finally being divorced from Jake. She was definitely happy and excited to start this new part of her life with Drew, but she was also a little bit sad, but she supposed that that was normal. But she was ready to move forward with her life and her baby and Summer, and today seemed like the perfect way to start fresh. She and Drew were going out to dinner, and she was incredibly excited about it, and couldn't wait to just go out and half fun and forget everything. Her doctors appointment over the weekend had went well, and she knew that they were going to have to tell her parents that she was pregnant, but she was a little scared even though she was out of the house and could support a child, and Drew was going to be there with her anyways. But she was scared of her parents judging her for what she had done. But she pushed that away and just got ready for their date. She was wearing a red dress and did her hair and makeup, finishing up a few minutes before Drew got there. She had no idea how she was hiding her pregnancy from her parents, but she thought that she was doing a good job at it, probably because she only spent some nights here, and most of her nights were spent with Drew and Summer. She heard a knock at the door and grabbed her bag and walked downstairs, opening the door, she smiling at him and kissed him. "Hey," She greeted.

Drew knew it was a fresh start, he knew he was going to have to tell his daughter soon about why Katie was around, and hoped that she change to come in their lives would be something she'd enjoy. She got summers bag packed for the night and took her over to Bianca's it was hard looking at his ex wife and knowing he couldn't sleep with her, when she gave him the opportunity, but he told her that there was someone in his life now. Seeing the look on Bianca's face made it hard for him, telling her that the woman was pregnant too just made what summer said true knowing the woman missed him. He left and picked up Katie some flowers, biting his lip as he went to her door next he knocked and then looked at her stunned as she kissed him. "Hey, wow you...you look amazing like you are glowing." Drew said with a smile.

Katie felt bad for 'stealing' Drew from Bianca since she knew that that was what the girl was going to think. Now that her divorce was finalized, she knew that they were going to have to tell Summer that she was pregnant, but she hoped that she could get a little closer to the girl before they told her. They had some more time before she was going to start showing but she wanted to tell Summer before it got to that point. She bit her lip and looked up at Drew when she saw him. She giggled and smiled at him. "Thank you," She said, biting her lip. "You look so amazing too," She said, leaning up and kissing his cheek. "i love you so much," she said, smiling at him.

Drew knew it would be sudden news for her parents but Drew and her had agreed that once it was them against the world then they'd start telling people about the baby. Plus they still had to tell his daughter about the baby, and the others had to know first. "I love you too Miss. Matlin." He told her as he brought flowers in front. "And they might not be as beautiful as my baby but." He gave the flowers over to her, as he smiled at her mother he didn't know if the woman knew they were dating even all he knew is before their date her parents would know that they were expecting, he just hoped the reaction was okay. "Mrs. Matlin, nice to see you again."

Katie looked at Drew and was just nervous to tell her mom the truth, that she was pregnant with Drew's baby, but she was glad that they could just...get this out of the way and then they could tell Summer about it. She smiled and giggled, her smile growing as she saw the flowers. "Drew, you didn't have to get me flowers," she said, taking them and smiling, kissing his cheek. She turned to her mom and bit her lip, giving the woman a small smile. "It's good to see you too, Drew," Mrs. Matlin said. Katie bit her lip. "Mom, Drew and I have to tell you and dad something," She said as she took Drew's hand and lead him back into the house.

Drew shrugged. "it's our first redate, I had to make things proper." He told her as she kissed her cheek. "It's something good too I swear." Drew said as he gave Katies hand a squeeze, he looked at her reassuringly before he was met with her father, surly the man wouldn't approve in the end of what he had done to his daughter getting her pregnant. Drew was nervous now as the man stared him down when Katie spoke to them.

Katie bit her lip and nodded her head. "Well, thank you," she said, smiling at him and kissing his cheek. Katie looked at him and then brought him into the house, squeezing his hand back. She bit her lip and closed her eyes for a moment. "Mom...dad..." she started, biting her lip. "I'm pregnant and Drew's the father," she said. Mrs. Matlin's eyes widened. "What...?" She asked, looking at the two of them. "How...far along?" Katie looked down and bit her lip. "About three months," she admitted. "Oh my god..." Mrs. Matlin said, looking at the two again. "i...wow this is sudden," she said as Katie's father didn't say anything.

Drew sighed a bit as he looked down at Katie and then at over at her mother. He took a while before he met her fathers gaze. "We know its sudden...but I love your daughter... a lot, I always have... and I will do anything to make sure she's well taken care of...not to mention I work as a lawyer so I always will be in business." Drew said as if he was sales pitching himself for her father. He looked over at her mother. "You two don't have to accept me, or any of that, just support Katie at least... and your grandchild." Drew said softly, he had no doubt they'd come around.

Katie bit her lip as she looked at him and was a little afraid of her fathers reaction. She listened to Drew talk to them and gave him a smile, knowing that he was probably worried about what they were going to say. "It's a shock," Mrs. Matlin agreed, looking at the two of them. "But...I've always wanted a grandchild...and I couldn't be happier," She said. Mr. Matlin looked at Drew. "You're going to take care of my little girl and the baby, right?" he asked, watching Drew as Katie rolled her eyes at her father.

Drew relaxed gently, when at least her mother had approved. Looking at her father again he nodded. "of course I will take care of your little girl and the baby." He told the man and then smirked. "Besides...If i don't I am pretty sure summer will keep me in line." He told them and kissed Katie's head. Hearing her father ask who summer was he looked at the man. "My five year old daughter, and the very one Katie teaches in kindergarten."

Katie looked at him when she listened to Drew promise to take care of her. "But dad, I can take care of myself, I'm not ten years old anymore," she said, rolling her eyes. "Forgive me for worrying, you're my baby." Katie sighed. "You still have Maya," she pouted. She smiled and nodded her head. "She's the sweetest girl ever, you would love her...you and mom should come over for dinner one night," she suggested. "Or Drew and Summer can come here."

Drew laughed softly. "If you were a father you'd understand babe, you don't really trust your daughter with anyone but yourself...but you just hope the boy who takes her hand will treat her right." Drew said simply, he got her father's concerns. "Whichever, just let me know I can make sure I have the night off then." He told the family, and then smiled warmly at her mother.

Katie bit her lip and shook her head. "I guess so," she said, resting her head against him. Mr. Matlin nodded his head. "Exactly what Drew just said," he agreed. Katie bit her lip and nodded her head. "Okay," she agreed, smiling at him and kissing his cheek again. "We...should probably get going," she said, looking at her parents, and then she hugged both of them.

Drew wrapped an arm around Katie when her head came to rest against him. "I get it sir I really do." He told the man and then smiled down at Katie. "Yeah we have a reservation." He told her giving her a sheepish look, and gave her father a hand shake, hugging her mother gently before he took Katies hand as he laced his fingers with hers kissing the back of her hand as he walked out with her as he smirked. "You should just move in with me half of your stuff is at my place." He joked with her as he opened the car door and helped her in before he walked around and got in himself.

Katie looked up at him and smiled slightly, nodding her head. "Okay," she said, smiling at him. She hugged both of them one more time before she watched Drew say goodbye to her parents and then she giggled as he took her hand and kissed the back of it. "I so should," she teased back, smiling at him as they walked towards the car and got in. "That...went a lot better than I expected it too...I'm glad that we got to tell them and get that out of the way," she said. "I feel so relieved that they're excited for the baby like we are."

Drew smirked at katie as he shook his head. "I thought I was going to pass out from the look your father gave me.." He whispered as he just got into the car and drove them. "You want some dinner? We have a seat at your favorite place... and that red dress you are wearing is wow and wil fit in." He told her, he loved a woman in red something about it was so sedxy.

Katie bit her lip and looked at him as he spoke, giggling. "I know, I was afraid that he was going to kill you," she told him, biting her lip. "But I'm glad that he was okay with it," She said. She smiled and kissed his cheek. "I would love to, that sounds amazing," she said. "Oh, you think so?" She asked, biting her lip. "I'm glad you like it," She smirked.

Drew laughed and nodded. "I wouldn't of blamed him. I mean I did get his baby girl pregnant, tho I had so much fun doing so." He winked at her, loving to tease her and then nodded, it was one relief but he wasn't sure how his mom was going to react. "Okay sounds good babe." Drew parked his car at the restaurant, as he turned his head. "I can show you better than I can tell you." Drew grabbed her chin softly as he turned her head and leaned in kissing her slowly but letting her feel how passionate he was about her.

Katie laughed and smiled at him. "Well, you did get me pregnant," she agreed, giggling. "I had fun getting pregnant too," she said, smiling at him. She knew that they had to tell his parents, and she was honestly a little bit nervous about it. "i'm glad," She said, smiling at him. She tilted her head. "Oh can you?" She asked, letting him grab her chin, she kissed him back, smiling, feeling the passion in it and easily meeting it as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

Drew grinned like he was proud of her words which he was. "I know I did, it's going to be fun." He told his girlfriend and then nodded. Kissing her he felt her passion too and pressed his lips harder into hers before he broke the kiss. "I could kiss you all night, if you let me...but I did make reservations and promised you a date." He whispered as he nuzzled her nose gently and kissed her once more. "Come on minx." He teased as he got out ran around and opened her door for her holding out his hand for her to take.

Katie giggled when he said that he did. "It is," she said, smiling at him and kissed him back. She bit her lip when he finally pulled back and closed her eyes, glad that she could breathe again. She smiled and nodded her head. "You did promise me a date," She agreed. "But I could kiss you forever, it's nice," she said, smiling at him. She giggled as he nuzzled her nose and kissed him back. "Okay," she said, smiling as he ran out and opened her door for her, taking his hand as he helped her out. "Thank you kind sir," she giggled.

Drew bit his lip knowing he got a bit carried away but sometimes he couldn't help himself. "Well tonight you can kiss me forever when we have my apartment to ourselves for once." He told her with a grin as he got out and took her hand gently. "No problem, my beautiful woman." He told her softly, as he led her inside to their table he sat down when a waiter came over to them he looked up at the man and just got a water, figuring if she wasn't drinking than he wouldn't either.

Katie looked up at him and smiled when he spoke. "That sounds very nice," she said honestly, smiling at him. "I can't wait to kiss you forever," She giggled, biting her lip. She watched him help her get out and kissed his cheek. "You're incredible, you know that?" She asked, smiling at him. She let him lead her inside and sat down, ordering a water. "You know, you could of gotten a drink, it would be okay," she told him, but she loved that he wasn't because she couldn't.

Drew smiled at her. "I know it does, I love my daughter but sometimes I enjoy a night with the adults." He told her as he sighed happily. "me too baby." Drew felt like he was a kid drunk in love when it came to Katie that feeling didn't just really wear off. "I try to be, its why my nickname is super daddy just ask Summer." He said with a smirk and looked over the menu. "I know but I didn't want too, I want to enjoy my night with my baby not drink." He told her giving her a smile to reassure her that it was okay. "So what's good here love?"

Katie smiled at him and nodded her head as he spoke. "i know, I love her too...but it's nice for us to get some alone time," she said. She smiled at him and bit her lip when he said 'me too' and giggled, kissing him again. She laughed and shook her head. "Did you hear that baby?" She asked her stomach. "Daddy's nickname is super daddy." She looked at him and smiled. "Well, I love you for that," She said, smiling at him. She looked at the menu and smiled. "Their burgers are really good and their steaks and pretty much everything," she laughed.

Drew nodded he could understand why Katie wanted alone time. "We won't get much of it once the baby comes." He told her and then he watched her and just smiled. "You are really happy about this baby aren't you?" He questioned her just watching her he could see the love in her eyes. "Burger sounds really good tonight." He told her as the waiter came over he got the burger that looked good to him and told Katie to get whatever she wanted, he didn't care what tonight cost him as long as she had a good time.

Katie looked up at him and nodded her head. "I know, that's why we need to do this when we can, but we also need to spend time with Summer," she said, biting her lip. She nodded her head. "I am," she said. "I've been waiting for two years for this to happen and i can't be happier," she said. She bit her lip and nodded her head. "I agree," She said. She ordered a burger too and just smiled at him, falling more in love with him every day, every time he showed her another side of him. She bit her lip and just looked around the restaurant, happy.

Drew "We will spend time with Summer, i mean don't you see her at school every day?" Drew teased and then he reached over and kissed her hand gently. "Two years for having a baby? That's how long you two were trying?" Drew questioned softly, as he looked down at her, he just wanted to be gentle with her. Teach her how to really be loved unlike how her husband loved her.

Katie laughed and nodded her head. She bit her lip. "I do, but it's not the same," she said, shaking her head. She looked down and nodded her head slowly. "Almost," she told him. "And...he never told me the truth about why I wasn't getting pregnant...he listened to me talk about how i thought something was wrong with me and he never said a thing," she said softly, looking down at the table.

Drew nodded he could understand wanting some one on one time with his daughter. "What a prick, god I'd never put a woman through that letting her think that something was wrong with her if I couldn't have kids, I mean shit that's just mean." He told Katie and then shook his head. "You don't have to worry about it anymore though, you get to have a Torres." He smirked at her.

Katie bit her lip and gave him a small smile and shrugged her shoulders when he said that he'd never do that. "I know," she said. "You would never do that to me, I know that you wouldn't," she said. She nodded her head. "I know it is...that's why I was so done, that's why i don't want to talk to him," she explained. She nodded her head and smiled. "I do, and Torres' are the best," she smiled.

Drew laughed softly. "Well obviously I wouldn't if you are pregnant right now." He told her as he leaned over and kissed her gently. "Don't think about him now, we get to have our little family and I promise to try and make you happy Katie, I can't promise we won't fight but we will make up." He didn't want to make the same mistakes with her that he made with Bianca or anyone else he had dated.

Katie looked at him and smiled, nodding her head. "I know," She laughed, smiling at him. "But I know you would never ever do that," she said. She kissed him back and nodded her head. "You do make me happy," she told him, shaking her head. "I know we're going to fight, but we'll always make up," she said, knowing that they were going to be better this time, they weren't going to let anything get between them, they couldn't, they had kids to think about.

Drew smiled when Katie said that she was happy with him, he shook his head and leaned over kissing her cheek with a wistful look. "Good that's what I like to hear I just want you to be happy Katie." Drew told her honestly, as he smiled when their burgers were set in front of them. "Figured after this we could go for a walk? Or head back to mine just cuddle and relax. Whatever you want."

Katie bit her lip and smiled at him as she was just glad to be with him. She adored spending time with him and Summer, but it was nice to have some alone time. "I am happy," She promised him. "Are you?" She asked, biting her lip. She watched as the burgers were set in front of them. "A walk would be nice...and then we could go home and cuddle?" She suggested, smiling.

Drew bit his lip as he shook his head. "No not really." He replied but then he cracked a smile. "Baby I am happy." He told her honestly this time as he nodded. "Sure whatever you want tonight you get." Drew said as he took a bite of his burger and nodded at the taste.

Katie looked up at him and frowned when he spoke. When he smiled and said he was happy she gave him a look. "That was mean," she pouted, shaking her head. "And here I was about to tell you that i think i'm starting to show," She said, taking a bite of her burger.

Drew leaned over and gave Katie a kiss. "Does that make up for it?" His eyes widened and he glanced down a grin lighting up on his face. "Really? You will have to show me when we get home, because if you are that's really cool." Drew was beyond estaticed now.

Katie smiled and kissed him back. "A little bit," she decided, nodding her head. She giggled when she saw how excited he was and nodded her head. "I noticed a slight bump this morning," she said. "I will," She said, biting her lip, promising him.

Drew laughed softly. "I'll make it up to you over desert?" Drew questioned and then he grinned. "That just makes you cute I hope you know that." Drew knew he already loved this child boy or girl. Tho he had a funny feeling that Katie wouldn't be giving him another daughter.

Katie looked at him and nodded her head. "Sounds perfect," she said, honestly. She giggled. "Oh yeah?" She asked. "And why is that?" She asked. She loved this baby already and just wanted to do what was best for him or her, and she knew that that was giving him a family with Drew.

Drew smiled. "Okay its set then." He replied and shrugged. "You are having my baby, it's cute in itself. But I dunno the bump is like you finally being able to show that were having a baby, and I just sorta kinda love it." He flushed a bit knowing he was a bit ridiculous or so he thought.

Katie smiled at him and nodded her head. "Good," she said. She looked at him and smiled, shaking her head when he flushed. "I like it too," she said, biting her lip. "Don't be embarrassed...I can't wait to start showing and feeling the baby kick and everything," she said, biting her lip.

Drew shrugged. "I didn't get much excitement my first time around, so it's kinda nice now to just enjoy it with you." He told her and smiled softly. "The baby kicking won't be for a while, took Bianca forever before she realized Summer was Kicking." Drew admitted as he looked down at his phone smiling seeing a text from summer. "Baby girl says good night." Drew told Katie as he texted her back quickly and then looked up at Katie again.

Katie looked up at him and smiled, nodding her head. "We can enjoy it together," she agreed, biting her lip. She nodded her head slowly, but didn't say anything that she was thinking about Bianca's lack of intelligence. "I know, it's going to be a while, but it'll happen eventually," she said. She smiled. "Tell her I said good night," she said, smiling as he texted his daughter back.

Drew noddded. "Of course we can baby." He told her as he kissed her temple and finished his meal up. "Yah eventually we will get to have fun with it all but we still got to start looking for a new place Katie were running out of time on that." he said gently and then nodded. "Done and done." He smiled.

Katie smiled at him and nodded, finishing up her burger. "I know...we should probably start looking this weekend," she said, biting her lip. "I think that that should be the first priority...and maybe by then we'll know the sex of the baby so we can start working on the nursery," she said. She nodded her head. "Is she having fun at her moms?"

Drew looked up at the waitor and paid the bill knowing they had things they could share at home. "I agree, maybe some place where we can put a pool in or something you know? Be good for the kids when their older." He told her as he smiled. "Agreed sounds like a good plan." He told her softly. "You ready to go?" Drew questioned.

Katie looked at him as he paid for the bill, biting her lip and feeling slightly guilty. She nodded her head. "That would be amazing, but do you really think we could afford a pool?" She asked him, biting her lip, not really sure of how much Drew made. She smiled ad him and nodded her head. "I'm ready," she said, getting up and kissing him. "Thank you for dinner."

Drew shrugged. "Not at first but if we save up I am sure we could eventually." Drew told her with a smile. "Babe I am well off, I assure you that, us lawyers make big bucks." He told her to ease her mind as he kissed her back. "Thanks for the kisses." He told her gently. Walking to the car he gently, opened the door and helped her in. "Figured we could go for a walk around my complex so this way when were done we can just go cuddle." drew said as he got in and drove them home his hand resting on Katie's thigh rubbing her skin softly as he gave her a smile.

Katie bit her lip and nodded her head slowly. "Okay...we can save up them," she agreed. She looked at him and nodded her head as he spoke. "I know lawyers make a lot of money, i just didn't know if they did at the beginning of their careers," she said, biting her lip. She smiled. "Of course," she said. She let him walk her to the car and nodded. "That sounds like a plan," she said, getting into the car and letting him drive home. She looked at him and smiled. "This day has been amazing," she told him, happy.

Drew "It can be a goal for us." Drew shrugged. "i've been at it two years now. I mean I don't make millions like the top lawyers do but I make enough to settle us comfortably baby." He told her with a shrug. Once they were home he parked and then smiled." I am glad you find it good. It was all that I wanted." Drew told her getting out he helped her out and then held her hand as they walked.

Katie bit her lip and nodded her head. "we can have a goal," She said. "you will eventually i'm sure," She said, kissing his cheek and smiling. "But for now i'm just happy to have a life with you," She said. She looked at him when he parked and nodded her head. "Of course I did," She said, getting out of the car and squeezed his hand gently as they walked, happy to be around him.

Drew "Exactly, goals are good baby." Drew told her as he smiled at the kiss and then looked at her. "Me too, well what we have left of our lives." Drew told her and then hugged her as his arm wrapped around her. "So what's on your mind baby doll."

Katie bit her lip. "Goals are definitely good," she said. She looked up at him and nodded her head. "Exactly," She said, resting her head against his shoulder for a few minutes as he hugged her and wrapped an arm around her. "Just thinking about how one day we're going to go on walks with Summer and our baby and how things are going to change soon."

Drew nodded at his girlfriend he laced his fingers with hers. "Hopefully that's a good thought to you?" Drew questioned not wanting Katie to think anything less other than what they were doing was going to be one of the best things they have ever done.

Katie smiled and nodded her head. "Definitely," she said, smiling at him and kissing his cheek. "It's definitely a good thought. I can't wait," she told him. "What are you thinking about?"

Drew "Good baby, because you know were going to have a good life." Drew told Katie gently wanting nothing more than to just be with Katie. "I am thinking about how special you are. How I am happy that we are having a baby together, something i always had thought about when we were younger. But more importantly I am thinking about how I forgive you for everything, for Adam and it really is a fresh start tonight for us, tho I just look into your pretty blue eyes, and realize how far and deep in love I am with you." Drew told her softly as he leaned down and kissed her softly.

Katie smiled at him. "I know we are too," She said, just happy to be around him. She bit her lip and felt tears in her eyes as he spoke, looking up at him. It made her so happy that he could forgive her for what happened with Adam, for everything. She looked up at him and kissed him back, putting her hand on his cheek. "I love you too, so much," she said softly, knowing that he was the one that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with, not Jake or any other person, no, she just wanted to spend all of her time with Drew and their family.

Drew looked down at her and then leaned into her touch rubbing his cheek against her hand. "You better love me, because I see a forever with you Katie. A forever that starts today." He whispered as he moved to stand in front of her. "With Summer, and our baby, no matter what comes... you and I love will do it together." He told her softly as he leaned down giving her another sweet kiss. "Want to head back and go cuddle now? I'd love to just hold you in my arms." Drew said with a smile.

Katie smiled and looked up at him and giggled, nodding her head. "Forever starts today," she whispered back, loving the way that sounded, what it meant, that they would have forever together. She looked up at him and nodded her head. "Together sounds amazing," She said, smiling at him. She kissed him back and nodded her head. "Okay...i'm a little tired," she told him. She was doing a lot better now and was less tired than she had been, but today had worn her out a little bit. "And you can see for yourself if i'm showing or not," she said.

Drew smiled down at his girlfriend. "It sounds pretty perfect for me." He told her gently, as he nuzzled her nose. "Okay lets get you home then." He whispered walking with her back to their place. "I'd love to see if you are showing or not." Drew told her as he opened the door a few minutes later to their apartment and he led her back to his room, as he pulled his button up off, and then looked down as he sat on the bed and looked over at Katie. "Alright baby show me."

Katie looked up at him and nodded her head. "I know it does," she said, smiling at him. She nodded her head and walked back to their place and smiled. "I know you would," She said, smiling at him. She bit her lip and walked in after he opened the door and then let him lead her back to his room. She watched as he took his shirt off and smiled when he told her to show him. She unzipped her dress and let it fall at her feet so she was just in her bra and underwear and turned to the side where you could see a small, but definitely there, bump.

Drew smiled at Katie as they got settled in his room, he watched her dress fall away and then smiled. "Come over here." He told her as he watched her move over to him, he ran his hand over the bump and smiled leaning down kissing it gently. "Well hey there baby. I don't know if you are going to be daddy's little stud yet, or mommy's precious little one, either way boy or girl, I am definately happy to have you here. To see you growing in mommy's bell and quite frankly it's kinda cute on your mommy so keep growing little baby. Is it bad if watching you grow amazes me?" Drew questioned he got an idea and got up, he went and found his camera as he told her to stay still. Taking a picture of her from the side he took two. "Why don't we take a picture every day and when you have the baby, than we can put them all together and see how the baby's made you grow?" Drew questioned.

Katie smiled at him and then nodded her head as he said to come to him. She walked over to him and bit her lip, smiling as she felt him run his hand over her stomach and shivered a little as he kissed it. She smiled as Drew talked to the baby, knowing that they were both just so happy to have this baby and she honestly didn't care if it was a boy or a girl, although she was kind of hoping for a baby boy. She smiled as he spoke, shaking her head. "Not at all...It amazes me too," She told him, biting her lip. She did as he said and stayed still as he held his camera and took two pictures. She looked at him and smiled at the idea. "I love it," she said, kissing him. "That sounds absolutely perfect," she said. "We can put them in an album," She said.

Drew looked at Katie as he wrapped his arms around her. "You should go to bed like that, maybe minus the bra." He told her he said softly. He got his pants off then climbed under the covers patting the spot next to him that was often reserved for summer he missed the nights where his baby girl laid with him. Kissing Katie once she got into bed he smiled. "I love this falling asleep with you." Drew told her gently.

Katie looked at him and nodded her head. "Okay," she said, taking her bra off and then she got into bed next to him, smiling. She kissed him back and bit her lip as she laid down and got comfortable. "I love falling asleep with you too," She told him, smiling and kissing him again.

Drew wrapped his arms around her as he cuddled with her. "Well you will get to do it every night once we get our own place." Drew said with a smile as he kissed Katie back his hands ran over her bare back with a smile as he hummed out. "I love kissing you too."

Katie smiled and cuddled into him. "I can't wait for that," She said, kissing him as he ran his hands over her bare back. She bit her lip and giggled, smiling at him. "Oh, you do? I like kissing you too," She said, smiling.

Katie was honestly more than a little nervous about having to go be with Summer and watch her since the little girl didn't really like her yet. But Drew had sounded so desperate on the phone, that she knew that she had to do this, maybe this would be their chance to get along and start to bond a little bit. So she had packed a bag just in case Drew ended up being out really late, wanting to be prepared and headed over to his apartment. She had made sure to bring the tea that she had been drinking to help soothe her stomach, as well as crackers, figuring that it was best to just be safe. She pulled up in front of the apartment building and took a deep breath before she walked up the steps to his door and knocked on it, waiting for him to come answer the door. She really hoped that she and Summer could bond, but she didn't know what was going to happen, considering the fact that Summer hadn't totally warmed up to her yet, but she was hopeful that spending some time with her, alone, would really help her get to know her outside of school and the two could maybe start a tentative friendship. She stood up a little straighter when Drew opened the door and gave him a small smile. "Hey," She said. "I hope I didn't get here too late...I know that you have to go.'

Drew didn't know who else to call when his mother wasn't home, and his usual baby sitter had been sick. The last thing Drew wanted to do and couldn't actually do was bring her to the court house since some bastard he put away was trying to appeal in the dead of night so he could go out. Drew vowed to make it a safer place for his daughter and a guy like the one he was dealing with wasn't someone that fit that bill. So he had called katie and just hoped he'd come home to his daughter come morning or whenever he got home. Drew had gotten all of his files ready, as he then was trying to get dressed, he was half dressed when he opened the door. "Hey come in, and no you are fine. Summer come here pretty girl." Drew said as he tucked his shirt into his pants. "Mrs. Martin is gonna watch you baby girl okay? Rosa's sick but she has daddys number if you girls need me please be good for her? I know you like her, you talk about her every night so play nice." Drew told his daughter as he tried to get his tie done but he was a ball of nerves and he was stressed and frustrated so it was taking him more than one try to actually get his tie tied and he sighed giving up on the offending material as he put it on the counter and grabbed his keys.

Katie knew that today had to go well, and she was just determined to make things okay between her and Summer. She really liked the little girl even if she didn't like her, and she just...wanted her to see that she wasn't going to steal her father, that maybe this could be a good thing. Katie was very proud of the fact that Drew was a lawyer, and she just thought that he did such an amazing job with such a big career as well as raising Summer the right way. She smiled at him when he opened the door and walked in, nodding her head. "Okay," She said. She gave Summer a small wave and bit her lip, listening to him tell Summer that she was going to babysit her. She watched him trying to get his tie on and laughed softly, shaking her head. "Drew, come here," she said, grabbing the tie and quickly got in on for him before she kissed his cheek. "Go on, we'll be fine here, go put him in jail for good," she told him softly, not wanting him to worry, she wanted to prove that she could handle Summer and their baby one day. She turned to Summer and waved shyly. "Did you eat dinner yet?" She asked her once Drew left, unsure of what Drew had managed to do before he got called into court.

Drew had a feeling this would be a mistake but all Katie really had to do was feed summer and get her to bed she was already in her pj's and he was moving around his small apartment before he heard Katie and he stopped long enough to let her get his tie on. "Thanks." He said relaxing a bit as he heard her words ,he bent down and hugged his daughter. "Be good pretty girl." He kissed his daughters head then Katie's cheek before he left. Summer hadn't been happy at who was baby sitting her today, she looked up at her teacher and shook her head no. "Daddy said it's in the fridge." She ran to the fridge and pulled out the meat as she frowned. "It looks better when my daddy makes it." She said not really sure what her dad did to make the pile of hamburger actually look like a burger that she ate.

Katie hoped that she could charm the little girl into liking her, but she was hesitantly optomistic about it. She bit her lip and saw that Summer was already in her pjs and smiled when he finally let her get his tie on. "Welcome," she said, hating that he was so nervous, but she could do this, he just had to have faith in her. She watched him as he kissed his daughter and she just smiled at him when he kissed her cheek. She turned to Summer and could tell that she wasn't all to happy to have her there. "Okay,' she said, walking over to the fridge with her and looked down at the meat. "Oh, that's because he hasn't made it into a burger," she explained. She bit her lip and took out some of the meat. "Do you just want one hamburger?" She asked her, starting to make one for her.

Drew looked at Katie and knew he'd have to learn to trust her since they were having a child together, but it was hard for him to leave his daughter with anyone. "Oh." Summer said simply and then she nodded. "Yes please." Summer said as she hopped up onto her stool so she was above the counter and watched Katie, watching how she made her hamburgers and if it was the same as her daddy. "Can you cook? I can't." The little girl said and just held up her tiny hands with a shrug. She liked watching her daddy when she was coloring and he was making them dinner.

Katie gave him a small smile before he left and bit her lip, knowing she was going to be okay. She nodded her head when Summer said oh and then nodded, looking at her as she made two burgers, not really in the mood for one, but she figured she should try eating something. She bit her lip and watched as Summer watched her make the burgers. "Is this how your daddy does it?" She asked, looking at her. She smiled. "I can cook a little bit," she said, nodding her head. "Well, it takes a while to learn how to make things and make sure it tastes good," she told her, putting the burgers onto the stove. "I like baking cookies...what kind do you like?" She asked Summer.

Drew nodded as she looked up at Katie. "Yeah he puts cheese on them tho." The little girl looked at the woman and then jumped up into her seat swinging her legs. "M&M, Daddy lets me lick the spoon... we don't have time to bake often." The girl said sadly, as she looked down at her coloring book and began to color like she did every night. "Mrs. Martin? Why are you with my daddy?" The little girl asked as she looked up as if the answer could be said in a few simple words.

Katie looked at her and bit her lip. "I can do that," she said. "Cheeseburgers are the best," she said, walking over to the fridge and went through it, looking for cheese. She bit her lip and saw some cookie dough. "Well, after dinner, we can bake some cookies if you want," she offered, looking at her. "M&M's are my favorite too," she said. She bit her lip when she heard summer's question. "Because I love him very much," she told her, hoping that that was an acceptable answer as she checked on the burgers.

Drew watched her teacher walk around and then shook her head. "It's in the drawer." She told the woman and then her face lit up. "Really? What else we going to do?" Summer said warming up at the thought of being able to do somethings that maybe her teacher wasn't so boring after all. "M&M's are good, daddy has a bunch in his nightstand...don't tell him I know." Summer said giggling having found where her daddy stored them except for when he was nice and let her have a few. Hearing that she loved her daddy Summer just nodded satisfied with the answer.

Katie smiled when she pointed out where it was. "Thanks, i never would have found it," she said, grabbing two slices of cheese. "Really," She said, nodding her head. "We could watch a movie or play with your dolls again, or i could paint your nails," she suggested. "Whatever you want to do, we can," she said, smiling as she put the cheese on the burgers. She laughed and smiled at her. "I won't tell him, it'll be our little secret, okay?" She said. She was relieved when Summer seemed okay with the answer and went back to cooking, grabbing two plates and buns for their burgers.

Drew Summer blushed as she looked up at her teacher. "Will you paint my nails? Daddy gets my fingers." The little girl asked softly as she grinned. "Okay!" Summer went back to coloring until there was a plate in front of her, she took a bite and grinned giving Katie a thumbs up before she went about eating. "Mrs. Martin? Do you have any kids?" Summer asked her teacher as she picked at the things on her plate and just was ever curious.

Katie looked at her and smiled, nodding her head. "Sure,' she said, smiling. "I'd love to paint your nails," she said. she smiled, glad that she seemed happier than earlier. She put the plate in front of her and then sat down across from her, smiling when she grinned and gave her a thumbs up. "Oh, um," she started, not sure what to say. "i don't...not right now," she said, figuring it was half the truth.

Drew Summer bounced in her seat a bit. "Can you paint them purple?" The little girl asked and then she smiled. Nodding at the woman she let it go as she finished up her burger and put her plate in the sink. "I got lots of colors." Summer mentioned running into her room as she went and got a shoe box that was filled with nail polishes and she set them out on the coffee table.

Katie smiled as Summer bounced and nodded her head. "Sure! Whatever color you want," she told her. She watched as she finished eating and Katie finished what she could and nodded her head, letting her go get her box of nail polish and did the dishes and came over to her. She sat down and bit her lip. "So, what color do you pick?" She asked, smiling.

Drew Summer went through her box and picked out a bright purple. "Yes! This one." She told Katie excitedly as she moved over to the woman and handed her the bottle of her nail polish over to Katie as she sat still wondering where Katie would want her.

Katie watched her go through her box and nodded her head. "That's such a pretty color!" She exclaimed. "Did you know that purple is the color of royalty?" Katie asked. She took the bottle and positioned Summer so she was in front of her and she gently and carefully began to paint the little girls nails.

Drew Summer giggled and nodded. "It's my favorite." She told Katie and then her eyes lit up. "Really?" The girl asked as she smiled trying not to wiggle her fingers, as she giggled. "Thank you Mrs Martin." Summer told Katie as she smiled she liked having someone around to do the girly things with.

Katie looked at her and smiled. "Mine too," she said, nodding her head. "Really. And it's totally fitting because you're daddy's little princess,' she smiled. She finished painting all her nails and started to blow on them so they'd dry faster. "You're welcome," she smiled, feeling a little nauseous from the smell, but it was manageable right now.

Drew smiled softly. "Daddy tells me that too." the girl said as she blushed. Summer laughed as her fingers were blow'ed on and shook her head playfully. "Can we watch a movie?" Summer asked as she went to the dvds and picked out one of her princess movies and put it in not even listening if it was okay or not her little mind onto one thing.

Katie looked at her and nodded. "I'm sure he does," she said, giggling as Summer laughed. "All dry!" She announced, smiling. She bit her lip and nodded her head, letting her go pick out a movie. "i'm going to go change into my pajamas, okay?" She told Summer, smiling and going into the bathroom to change and just let her stomach calm down. She came back out a few minutes later. "I'm going to make myself some tea, do you want a snack or anything?" She asked.

Drew Summer nodded. "Okay." She called back before she climbed onto the couch and laid down. "No thank you." The little girl said in a small voice as she lifted her head. "Whens daddy getting home?" She pouted her daddy always tucked her in so she was worried that Katie was going to have to tuck her in.

Katie smiled and went into the kitchen, nodding her head and making her tea before she came back out into the living room and sat down with her. "I'm not sure," she said, biting her lip. "He said that he could be gone for a while, he has to put a bad man in jail," she said, gently, seeing the worry in the little girls eyes.

Drew Summer frowned she moved over on the couch and laid her head against Katie as she cuddled up to the girl. "I want my daddy." The girl said softly with tears in her eyes.

Katie watched the girl come and cuddle up with her, surprised, but she just hugged the little girl. "I know," she said, rubbing her back. "You'll see him in the morning," she promised her, not wanting to say she'd see him tonight since she didn't know. "When he comes home, I can tell him to go into your room and see you if you'd like," she told her, just hugging her and trying to keep her calm.

Drew Hearing that she wasn't going to see her daddy till morning, tears filled her eyes. "I want my mommy or my Daddy." She whispered as the tears fell down her cheeks. Her daddy chased the monsters away he was always there. "Yes please." She sniffled as she burried her face against Katie, and was shaking as she cried against the woman.

Katie immediately felt panicked when she saw tears in her eyes. "Oh, sweetie," she said softly, wrapping her arms around her and held her to her chest, letitng the little girl cry. "It's going to be okay," She soothed softly. "i know you want your daddy, but I'm here and i promise i won't let anything happen to you," she said softly. "And then when Daddy gets home I'll send him into your room, i promise," she said softly, trying to soothe the girl.

Drew Summer sniffled as she looked at Katie. "Promise?" She asked pouting her bottom lip quivering. Summer nodded tho and settled down against Katie liking the warmth that came from the woman as she turned to the tv and watched the movie eventually falling asleep against Katie.

Katie nodded her head. "Promise," she said, looking into her eyes so she knew that she was serious. Katie let her settle down against her and watched the movie, smiling when she noticed that the little girl was asleep against her. She kissed her head and then laid down with her, turning the movie off and just watched tv, eventually drifting off to sleep with Summer.

Drew hated that he missed tucking his daughter in, but this guy put up a hard fight. As he walked into his apartment he set his brief case down and loosened his tie looking over at Katie he smiled seeing Summer wrapped up in her arms, he looked around his apartment and sighed. Drew was stressed and tired it was early in the morning but he didn't see a point in sleeping now, as he just quietly moved around cleaning up his apartment once more putting all of Summer's things away and washing up the dishes from the dinner the girls had. He just sighed and looked at the coffee pot, as he made himself a cup. Drinking his coffee he just went about cleaning up letting his girls sleep watching them for a while he sat at the kitchen table with a smile.

Katie slept through the night, not noticing when Drew came home and cleaned up around the apartment. She slowly woke up a little while later, seeing that she had Summer still cuddled into her. She smiled and kissed the girls head before she noticed Drew, giving him a small smile. She managed to extract herself and walked over to him, kissing his cheek. "Morning," she said softly. "How was it last night?" She asked, biting her lip, taking the pack of saltines she had brought and eating it slowly to try to fight the morning sickness. She sat down across from him, figuring she could make her tea in a few minutes, wanting o hear about Drew's night first.

Drew gave Katie a small smile. "Morning beautiful." Drew told her as he watched her sit across from him. "Long, I just got in two hours ago? Picked up and then just watched you too. I'd tell you more but I can't give details Patient lawyer confidentiality." Drew replied as he leaned over and kissed her head. "How'd things go with summer? I was kinda surprised to see my girls all cuddled up together, Kinda jealous I wasn't in that cuddling." Drew teased as he undid his tie fully and then the top buttons on his shirt as he leaned back and closed his eyes but still listening to Katie.

Katie looked at him and smiled. "You should have gone to sleep,' she chastised him, biting her lip. "I could have handled her for a bit so you could get some sleep," she said, shaking her head. "But I understand," she told him, smiling as he kissed her head. She smiled slightly. "She had a bit of a meltdown when she realized you weren't going to be there to say goodnight...but we cuddled a bit and she fell asleep, and I guess i just did too," she explained. "Oh, yeah?" She asked, moving off the chair and into his lap, kissing his cheek. "Summer was really good, i painted her nails and she seems like maybe she's warming up to me a little bit."

Drew rolled his eyes. "I get a wicked headache I have to go back into work when I drop her off for my usual hours. I am used to it, it happens every now and then." Drew told her and then he frowned as he looked at his daughter. "I didn't like not being here, I hope she won't be too mad when she wakes up." Drew told Katie and then he grinned when she settled into his lap. "I knew my girls would get along." Drew told her as he kissed her cheek softly. "Tho I could warm up to you, or warm you up either one." Drew winked as he leaned forward and Kissed Katie softly.

Katie looked at him and bit her lip. "That really sucks, I'm sorry," she said. "Is there anything i can do so you can get some rest later?" She asked, biting her lip. She nodded her head and rubbed his back gently. "She's going to be very excited to see you, i think,' she said, biting her lip. She looked up at him and smiled. "You did, didn't you? She's really a sweet girl, it broke my heart to see her so sad," she said. She smirked and giggled. "Oh yeah?" She asked, kissing him back, wrapping her arms around him and playing with the bottoms of his hair.

Drew shrugged. "Happens with the job." He told her with a smile and then he rubbed his chin. "Not really just you being here is kinda nice, I was kinda glad I could come home to my girls." Drew replied and then he grinned. "I can't wait, but I'll let her sleep." He replied and then nodded, he knew that Katie was ready to be apart of this family he'd just have to help her a bit more. "Don't tell her daddy that then it makes me sad. That she was sad." drew frowned but he kissed Katie lazily. "I can't get worked up she's right there." He whispered softly.

Katie looked up at him and bit her lip. "Well, i'm proud of you," she said, honestly. She nodded her head. "It was nice cuddling with her, she's a really good cuddler, I wonder who she got that from," she teased, smiling up at him. "That's a good idea, she was up a little late," she admitted. She was still a little scared and unsure, but everyday she felt a little more confident. "Sorry," she frowned, kissing him back. "i know," she said, running her hand over her stomach. "Baby hasn't made me sick today yet," she told Drew, smiling and biting her lip. "i can't wait until we find out if it's a boy or a girl."

Drew laughed softly. "Me...I could never stand for her being away so I'd cuddle her every night, because if she was in my arms she wouldn't be sick...when she was born she was born with an infection...Bianca and I didn't know if we'd bring our daughter home at the time...after that I just held her as much as I could, it's not a good thing everyone tells me but she's my little girl." Drew told Katie and he looked up into her eyes. "Oh don't be sorry, if you want to take me into the bedroom and get sexy we can just not infront of her innocent eyes." He smirked and then he grinned. "That's so good though." Drew told her and then nodded. "Eventually we will for now just enjoy that you are having a baby."

Katie looked up at him and listened to him talk, smiling slightly. "Well, she's a strong little girl and so is her daddy so of course she made it through that," she said, looking up at him. "But i'm so glad that she was okay," she bit her lip and shrugged. "I don't see anything wrong with that," she said, smiling at him, nodding her head. She giggled and kissed his cheek. "You're bad, what'll happen if she wakes up and sees daddy screwing her teacher? I don't think that would be a very good idea," She said, shaking her head. "I know, I'm happy," She said. She bit her lip and nodded her head. "I am...but I think that it's a boy," She admitted, shrugging her shoulders.

Drew looked over at his daughter. "I am glad too, I've loved every day I have had with her." He told her as he kissed her cheek. "We can lock the bedroom door and make it a quickie?" Drew raised an eyebrow at Katie and smiled. "A boy?" Drew questioned as he looked down at her stomach and then smirked. "I could go for a little boy....I'd really like that.."

Katie bit her lip and smiled, nodding her head. "She's an amazing girl," she told him, closing her eyes when he kissed her cheek. "I don't know," she giggled, looking up at him. She nodded her head. "I would too," she said, biting her lip. "We...already have a little girl," she said, looking over at Summer. "if she'll have me, that is," she corrected herself, looking back at him.

Drew smiled. "She is I love her." Drew told Katie and then he pouted at Katie. "Come on baby, no sexy times?" He tried looking adorable like his daughter often did and then he bit his lip as he shrugged. "Give it a bit more time.. but I think she will have you eventually, I mean I already do." Drew told her reassuringly he'd love it if Summer took to Katie in more than a teacher sort of way.

Katie bit her lip and looked up at him. "I know you do...and i do too," she finally admitted. She rolled her eyes. "Maybe later...i don't trust my stomach...I might puke on you," she teased. She nodded her head slowly. "I hope so," she told him. "But she asked me if i have any kids...i told her no," she said. "I figured...she won't really understand pregnancy so it wasn't a real lie..."

Drew felt himself grow warm at the thought of Katie loving his daughter too. "That's just gross even for you.." He told her and sighed knowing he'd have to go to work anyways. "We will have to explain it to her eventually Katie." Drew rubbed his forehead a bit and then he kissed her gently. "I'm going to go lay down if you girls need me come get me." Drew told Katie a she got up he did too and went to his room stripping down to his boxers as he just laid ontop of the sheets and closed his eyes.

Katie bit her lip and smiled at him. "I know, that's why we shouldn't have sex right now," she said. She bit her lip and nodded her head. "I know, but I figured for now I wouldn't say anything...we can do it together," she said. She kissed him back and nodded her head. "Okay," she said, smiling at him. Katie went and made herself some tea and then she walked back over to Summer and sat down, watching as the girl slowly started to wake up. "Morning," she said softly.

Drew just shrugged. "it's fine Katie." He told her a he rubbed her back but then he looked down at her. "Yeah okay but later, not right away." Drew replied as he then just laid down. Summer woke up and rubbed her eyes. "Where's daddy?" Hearing the answer, she ran to her fathers room and jumped on his bed and cuddled up to his side. "Hmm is that a pretty girl against me?" Drew teased as he opened an eye and looked at his daughter. "Daddy's tired, cuddle daddy so he can sleep?" The little girl seemed happy as the two snuggled together and Drew fell into a light sleep.

Katie bit her lip and nodded her head. "i know, we can wait a while," she said, smiling softly. She sat with Summer and smiled when she woke up and immediately asked for her daddy. "He's trying to rest in his room, i'm sure he'd love cuddles," She said, watching as she ran to her father's room. She let the two of them have some time together before she walked into his room and saw Summer, cuddling up against her dad. "Hey," she said softly. "I was going to make breakfast for you and your daddy...what should I make you?" She asked, wanting to do something to help Drew out so he wouldn't have so much to do and he'd have time to sleep a little more.

Drew gave Katie a small smile, and he laughed when his daughter came to him. Summer looked up from her daddy's chest and looked at Katie. "Pancakes? Please?" The little girl asked knowing her daddy only made them on the weekends but to get them before school would be pretty good.

Katie looked down at Summer and bit her lip while she tried to decide what to have for breakfast. "Sure," She said, smiling down at her. "You can stay here and cuddle daddy or you're welcome to come help make breakfast, it's up to you, okay?" She smiled before she went to the kitchen to start breakfast, glad that she had a change of clothes here so she could eat and go right to school.

Drew Summer nodded but cuddled into her daddy. "I wanna cuddle daddy." The girl told her teacher as the little girl closed her eyes and listened to her daddys heart beat. Drew just slept peacefully for about an hour or so until his daughter squirming to get out of his arms woke him from his slumber. "No leaving me." She squealed as Drew held her tighter. "Daddy let me go there's pancakes!" Drew's eyed his daughter. "Who said you could have pancakes?" He questioned as his daughter ran to the kitchen Drew got up and rubbed his sleepy eyes. "Who said she could have pancakes?" Drew questioned Katie as he looked down at his daughter he just walked behind katie and held her kissing her neck softly. "You busy at lunch today?" He mumbled to her softly.

Katie smiled and nodded her head. "That's a really good choice," she smiled, before she walked into the kitchen and tried to make breakfast, although it was a little weird since she wasn't in her and Jake's kitchen or even her parents. She could hear squealing from Drew's room and figured that Drew was awake as she finished up all of the pancakes and set the table and put the plate of pancakes down. She looked up and smiled when Drew and Summer came into the room. "Summer did," She told him, laughing and smiling as Drew came over and kissed her neck softly. "I'm not," she told him. "Why?" She smirked, having an idea of what he wanted.

Drew shook his head. "You are lucky you are so darn cute missy, you know we don't have pancakes before school." He told her and shook his head letting it slide, he just knew he'd have to race to get her cleaned up instead of letting her take her time. Drew held Katie close and smiled. "I wanna see my girl on her break is all, I want to thank her for being so good to my daughter and watching her." Drew replied as he pulled back and sat with summer taking a bite of her pancake.

Katie looked at him and bit her lip. "Sorry, I didn't know," she said, looking over at him and biting her lip. She was glad when he just shook his head and didn't seem too upset with her. She smiled and rested against him, smirking. "I would really love that," she said, smiling and looking up at him, kissing his cheek before she sat down with them to eat. "So, what's the verdict?" She asked, looking at Summer. "Are they okay?"

Drew knew that he'd have to watch his daughter knowing she was testing how far she could get with Katie. Drew gave his daughter a smile and then looked down at Katie. "Good because I didn't want to take no from my girlfriend?" Drew knew it was risky putting a label on it but its what he wanted Katie to be at least he knew she still had to file for divorce and he was still fooling around with a married woman but he couldn't help it. Summer looked up with her cheeks stuffed and nodded as she worked on swallowing the mouth full she had, the little girl had syrup all over her fingers and her face and Drew just sighed. "Bath time after you get done missy." He gave his daughter a look and stole another piece from her plate with a smirk.

Katie looked at him and bit her lip, not knowing that Summer was testing to see how far she could go. She smiled slightly when he called her his girlfriend. "I don't want to tell my boyfriend no," she smirked, smiling at him, surprised that he would call her that, but she liked it. She knew that she still had to file for divorce, but she was honestly planning to do it as soon as she was able to. She bit her lip and smiled when she saw how adorable Summer looked and was glad to hear that she liked the pancakes. She sipped her tea and knew that pancakes was pretty messy, but she just wanted to make the younger girl happy and this seemed to be the best way to do it, at least right now.

Drew relaxed a bit and smiled when Katie seemingly agreed to their relationship labels, he just hoped it'd continue and they'd be able to make good on everything. "Maybe you should let the principle or whatever know of your situation just incase there are days the baby won't let you go in." I don't think you will have to miss too many days because the sick feeling passes, but still maybe have someone do things in the mornings or get a teachers aid for when you are sick and need someone to watch the kids until you can return?" "oh of course you should be able to last until then but still they should pair you up with an aid not only for that but when you go on leave in may or whenever. I have enough to support us so you won't have to worry about that." Drew replied and then he smiled. "Okay Well I think you have to get to school teach, I'll bring summer in later or whatever." He replied feeling like today he was going to take off.

Katie smiled when he kissed the top of her head. "I know, I can't wait to hold our little baby in my arms and finally see him or her," she said. She looked up at him and bit her lip, nodding her head slowly. "I know you do, but I don't want you to just...support me, you know? I want to be a team. But...I know I will have to take time off when he or she comes," she said. She sighed and nodded her head. "Okay," She said, leaning up and kissing him. "I'll see you later?" She said, before she went to say goodbye to Summer and then went to school to talk to the principal.

Drew grinned. "It's going to be one of the best moments I can assure you that." Drew had been through it all but he knew this was her first child so he'd go through it all again for her. Drew kissed her back smiling before he looked at his daughter after katie left. "Okay time for daddy to braid your hair." Drew sat down listening to his daughter chatter, before he dropped her off at school. Drew was utterly exhausted so after calling the office, Drew collapsed into bed and just slept in his empty apartment until his watch started beeping at him telling him to get up. "And then i thought that we could make cookies for dessert since we ran out of time last night...how does that sound?"

Drew took care of his daughter before he led her into the kitchen. "It's okay daddy patched me up." Summer said keeping her arms around Drew's legs and she looked up when she heard her favorites and gave Katie a shy smile as she hid her face against Drew's leg. He told her simply and then Summer looked up and took Katies hand as she followed her into the kitchen and pulled her stool over as she stepped up and looked at the bowl she reached her finger in and stole some of the batter giggling as she ate it off of her finger. "what first?" She asked.

Katie bit her lip and nodded her head, knowing that she screwed up so she was glad that she could make up a reasonable lie to make Summer happy. She smiled and took her hand, walking into the kitchen. "Let's wash our hands," she said, checking the cookies and taking them out. She smiled at her. "Now we have a snack for while we wait for our cookies," she said, smiling at her. She started to instruct Summer on how to make the cookies, smiling and laughing as the two got cookie batter everywhere.

Drew knew he was going to be eating cookies for a while now. Summer went and washed her hands before she went over to Katie again. "Yummy!" She took a bite of one of the cookies and giggled before she started to make cookies making a big mess since her daddy never let her. Drew shook his head knowing he'd be cleaning for a while yet.

Drew was just glad that his daughter was happy really. Summer really did seem to be falling in love with Katie and Drew was glad for that. Katie looked at him and smiled, biting her lip. "Sounds good to me," she said, happy. She walked into the bathroom with Summer and helped her get the bath ready and then sat down next to her. "You know...I've really liked spending all this time together...if you ever want to go shopping or something, i'll take you. i know that your daddy is really good with that stuff, but sometimes it's fun to have a girls day out."

Drew managed to get the bathroom clean and knew he'd need a bath himself now. Pulling the cookies out he set them to cool before he turned the oven off, and heard Katie. Summer nodded. "I have girls days with my mommy." She said softly as she started to scrub her body and then looked up at katie and handed her the shampoo her dad usually washed her hair as she dunked her hair and then looked up at Katie again.

Katie bit her lip and ran her hand through her hair, knowing that she probably looked a mess. She nodded her head. "Well, if your mommy ever can't go with you, you can call me, okay?" She said, giving her a smile. "How is your mommy?" She asked. She nodded her head when she handed her the shampoo and she started to wash her hair, before she helped her rinse it out. "Are you ready to get out or do you want to play some more?" She asked.

Drew Summer nodded. "Ok Mrs. Martin." The girl said simply and smiled at the thought of her mom. "She's good she misses daddy tho." The little girl said sadly and then let her wash her hair and shook her head. "I wanna get out and have daddy tuck me in." Summer was finally worn out, as she got out she took the towel and then ran to her daddy as Drew picked his daughter up. "Time for bed snuggle bug?" The girl nodded. "Daddy can I sleep with you?" Drew bit his lip and shook his head no. "Not tonight baby girl, Katie's staying over okay? Tomorrow you can snuggle with us how's that sound?" The girl smiled happily as Drew dried her off and then got her in her night dress tucking her in he kissed her and went through their routine before she was passed out like a light. Drew smiled. "Night princess." He shut her door and turned to Katie. "So how's being a mommy feel? Tired out yet?" Drew questioned with a smirk.

Katie smiled and nodded her head. "Okay," she said. She bit her lip and nodded her head slowly. "I'm sure she's going to be excited to see you tomorrow," she said, rubbing her back. She nodded her head. "Okay," She said, leaning over and grabbing the towel and draining the tub before she wrapped the towel around her. "Go ahead," she said, smiling at her. She walked out into the living room and smiled at Drew before she went to the kitchen and had a cookie, letting them do their night time routine, knowing how important it was to her. She closed her eyes and checked her phone, frowning when she saw she had two missed calls from Clare. She knew what she wanted and she had been avoiding her sister-in-law just like she was avoiding her husband. She looked up when Drew came in and nodded her head. "A little bit," she laughed. "It's kind of...weird that i'm going to go straight to being a mom of two...if Summer decides she likes me," she corrected, resting against him.

Drew Summer grinned. "I am excited to see my mommy." She said as she went off with her dad and then drew walked out to her. "She likes you just I dunno give her a reason to trust you, you still got a lot to learn little grass hopper. " He wrapped his arms around her and tucked her under his chin. Looking down at her phone he frowned when he saw Jakes contact. "Do you miss him at all?" Drew questioned, he couldn't help but feel inadiqute to her husband, he knew there had to be a reason that Katie married Jake. Sighing he just shook his head, every time he thought about her still being married just did nothing but upset him.

Katie smiled. "I'll bet!" She exclaimed. Even though she hated Bianca, she saw that the young girl adored her mother too. "I'm trying," She sighed, resting against him and closing her eyes. Her phone was still in her hand and she bit her lip when he spoke. "I miss...how we used to be when we were happy...when we were first married," She admitted. "But...the past year and a half were hell and we weren't married for that long...most of our relationship was fighting...he never truly forgave me for Vegas, and i can never forgive him for lying about not having kids. I am much happier with you," she told him, leaning up and kissing him. "You make me feel loved and special and not like there's something wrong with me."

Drew bit his lip as he let her go. "I'm not ever going to be him Katie, not the whole honeymoon phase, it will wear off, and that kid won't save any relationship you have trust me. Bianca and I tried that when we had summer and now were divorced." He told her and then he sighed. "Ever think he was just afraid to tell you to disappoint you? I mean I don't really want you to be with the guy, I dunno I just sorta feel like you have feelings for what I can give you and not who I am. I mean hell you were the one that killed Summers uncle and yet I am sleeping with you having a baby with you, what kind of person does that make me?" Drew blurted out and shook his head as he just walked away frustrated and he collapsed onto his bed as he rubbed his hands over his face.

Katie looked up at him as he let her go, feeling nervous. She bit her lip. "That's not what I love about this," she told him, shaking her head. "I love /you/ Drew, you and only you! I don't want anyone else, I just want you to be with," She said. She bit her lip and looked down as he spoke, knowing that it wasn't true. When he mentioned Adam, tears pricked her eyes and she stayed in her spot when he walked away, unable to move. After a few minutes, she followed him to the room. "I...didn't want to tell you...I wanted to surprise you...but we're signing the divorce papers on Monday," she said softly. "I love you, and only you...and if...you're pushing me away because of Adam...please tell me now before i get more attached to you...I can't take that day back but it's tormented me since it happened. My eating disorder...my drug relapse...it was all to make myself feel better, to make myself forget what I did. It didn't work and it just made things worse...and I'm so sorry...I'll always be so sorry but I've always loved you, I just thought that I'd never have you again...so i married Jake. I knew it was a mistake when I said 'I do' but it was too late to go back...and you would never want me again so I just...dealt with it," she said softly, tears streaming down her face.

Drew heard her words and deep in his heart he knew it was true, but he was scared in truth to love her, he did love her he was in love with her, but to let her into his life and his daughters life even though she proved to be amazing he was still frightened by it all. "It's just because of it all, I am damn near terrorfied of loving you Katie. With Bianca it was easy, we'd fight and have sex and then fight again. But it's what I knew but with you, its just falling in love deeper and harder and I am trying Katie because people deserve second chances and I want you to have one but... I just I don't know.." He told her as his heart broke, he looked down as he just wanted her to rush into his arms and tell him it was going to be okay that they'd figure it out, everything that was so uncertain.

Katie looked at him and shook her head as he spoke, she wanted him to let her into their life, to let her and the baby she was carrying into his life, but now she was scared that he was going to decide that she didn't need to be there. She listened to him and walked over to him, laying down and cuddled into him. "I love you so much, Drew...and it's going to be hard and we're going to have to work through a lot...but I want to make this work...I've been dreaming of having this kind of life with you since we were in grade eleven and i just...i don't want to ruin it now, I just want to be with you and Summer and our baby and...to make everything work out...we'll fight but we'll always make up because we love each other."

Drew felt her cuddle up to him and his arms immedately wrapped around her as he just held her tightly. "I love you too, I want this with you Katie, I just...I want to be better than those in the past, I want to be the best, and I want you to think of me as such also." He replied as he nuzzled his nose against hers. "I do love you.. sorry for freaking out its just alot to take in. But monday huh? You okay with that happening so fast?" Drew questioned knowing he'd feel better after she was a single woman again.

Katie looked up at him as he held her tightly, she nodded her head and closed her eyes for a moment. "On Monday...why don't we decide to start over...we can just do this...date or whatever but we try to put the past in the past...and we try to let it go and we move forward?" She asked, nuzzling against him. "It's okay...I know things were moving fast...and it's scary," She said. She bit her lip and shrugged. "I never thought i'd get divorced...but i just want to put it in the past...to stop getting calls from Helen and Glenn and Clare and Eli begging me to go back to Jake...I'm just done...i can't trust someone who lied to me for our entire relationship," she said, shaking her head. "I just can't."

Drew bit his lip as he listened to her and then nodded. "I have to work monday, start back up with the work week so its a late night for me...but tuesday Bianca's day for summer so maybe a date night just the two of us...some uh sparkling juice for you, I'd say wine but the baby." He told her and then shrugged. "I never thought I would either I thought her and I would work it out but we knew we couldn't....I just want you to stay with me." Drew told her softly.

Katie looked at him and smiled slightly. "Tuesday works for me," she said, nodding her head. "That sounds like the perfect way to celebrate our new beginning," She said, running her hand over her stomach. "Doesn't that baby?" She asked, giggling. She kissed his cheek and nodded her head. "i guess nobody thinks that their relationship will end like that," she agreed. "But I just want to stay with you too."

Drew nodded agreeing. He laughed and loved it when she touched her stomach or talked to the baby. "I think our peanut likes that idea." He told her touching her stomach happy that she let him touch her. "You can stay with me baby? Wanna take that bath together? Get you cleaned up and relaxed?" He asked as he stroked her hair behind her ear and kissed her cheek gently.

She giggled when he kissed her cheek, happy.

Drew sighed out softly as he pulled back and then smirked. "Come on." Drew teased as he walked into the bathroom, he filled the tub with hot water and then some buggled, admitably they were summers but it worked for the two of them, he just hoped that Katie wouldn't mind, he knew they couldn't cook the baby or anything.

Katie looked up at him and giggled, before she followed him to the bathroom. "Okay," she said, biting her lip. She watched him fill it with hot water and rested against him, just happy to spend some more time with him after being apart.

Drew stripped as he helped Katie undress with a wink before he eased himself into the tub and then her in front of him as he tried to relax out even though he was finding it harder than ever to just relax and be with Katie as they were.

Katie looked up at him and giggled as he helped her undress and watched as he got into the tub before she did the same thing and smiled at him, relaxing into his arms, she closed her eyes and rested against him, biting her lip.

Drew held Katie close and bit his lip. "you relaxed yet?" He questioend he just wanted the stress that he felt to ebb away with her in his arms but it did nothing but fuel it more actually and while they knew they'd stick it out together. Drew just wanted to not have any fights for a while.

Katie looked up at him and nodded her head slowly. "Yeah, i'm starting to,' she said, biting her lip. She wanted to be happy with him, and she was just determined to do it. They were going to have a happy family, even if it took some work and some time.

"Well there's the nursery, and well finding a bigger place for sure, I am not sure where I'll fit a baby in my apartment. So we really got to build a home." Drew had time and money to put into a house they'd just have to go look.

Katie bit her lip and smiled at him. "I can't wait to be big," she told him, smiling at him. She bit her lip and nodded her head as he spoke. "You want to buy a house?" She asked, surprised. "I...I would love that," she told him, honestly, never thinking that he would want to buy a house with her, that they would be a real family and have a house.

Drew smiled as he leaned down and kissed her stomach softly. "It will be good." Looking into her eyes he nodded. "Yeah I mean where else are we going to keep our daughter, and our baby?" he questioned as he grinned. "Good, then we can start looking, so you can i don't know search for what you want let me know and then we will go see some homes. I can't go to far out of the area tho, just so summer can still be with her mother." He told her gently.

Katie looked up at him as he kissed her stomach. "Our baby is going to be so cute," she said, biting her lip. She looked up at him and immediately smiled. "Well, I never really thought we'd get a house," she admitted. "But I'm excited." She nodded her head. "I don't want to move out of this area either...it's perfect for raising kids," she told him, smiling and kissing him gently.

Drew "oh our baby is going to be adorable." He told her as he kissed her cheek. "Raising Kids? Does that mean you'd want to be a mommy again in the future?" Drew questioned, knowing if that's what she wanted he'd have more kids with her. Tho truthfully, he was content with the two they would have. "Why did you think we'd never get a house babe?" Drew was a bit confused on that.

Katie "Definitely," she said, biting her lip. "I mean look at Summer," She said, smiling. She shrugged. "Maybe...but we do have two kids, Drew," she reminded him, biting her lip. She was open to having more kids, but she didn't know if they would. She smiled at him and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know...I guess...I was just being dumb," she said, biting her lip.

Drew he smirked. "Summer is adorable." He kissed her cheek. "Well then enjoy this pregnancy for all that you can." He told her knowing it'd be a discussion in the future. "You aren't ever dumb, so don't say that." He whispered against her skin.

Katie looked up at him and smiled. "She is," she agreed. "I plan on it...I want to make the best out of all of it," She said. She knew that they had all the time in the world to talk about having another baby. She smiled at him and kissed him. "I love you so much...thank you for saying that."

Drew kissed Katies cheek. "Nothing is wrong with that Katie." He told her and then he relaxed down behind her. "I love you too..now relax...sleep because a little girl gets up early and I know morning sickness does you in pretty early too.

Drew dropped his phone, as his face screwed up trying not to cry. He had finally gotten Katie pregnant, they were going to have a baby, but her words, broke his heart, hearing that she had to run and tell her husband, just made him slide down his apartment door, as his daughter looked at him concerned, he tried to be strong as his daughter came over to him. "Does daddy need cuddles?" Drew laughed softly and nodded. "Yeah come here baby girl." He told her and he cuddled his daughter close as she kissed his cheek and ran her tiny fingers through his hair messing it up more than anything but Drew appreciated her trying to cheer him up. "Daddy why are you sad?" His daughter frowned at her, but then he looked up at her. "Daddy just loves a woman very much, but she doesn't love your daddy back." His daughter got her little pout on and he thought it was so cute. "But I love you daddy, you're all I need." Drew just smiled at his daughter and kissed her cheek. "I love you too pretty girl." He took his daughter to the couch and cuddled with her the one person in his life that he knew he'd always have.

Katie had been so excited, she was finally going to be a mom, and she had set up a surprise to tell Jake, and she had just been so happy and excited and wanted to spend this amazing day with her husband. But when she told him, he didn't have the reaction that she was expecting. Instead, he told her that he couldn't get her pregnant, it was impossible, and he knew that she had been cheating on him now. The two ended up fighting for hours, before Katie just packed a bag and ran out the door, her eyes red from crying all night and from realizing how she screwed up, she should have left Jake months ago, she hated him for hiding this from her, from making her feel like she wasn't good enough, when in reality he was the problem, not her. She knew that Drew probably never wanted to see her again, but she couldn't help but drive there, getting out of her car, she knocked on his door even though it was late, tears running down her face as she just collapsed into his arms when he opened the door.

Drew had retired with summer to her room laying with the little girl and just falling asleep as he cuddled her, but he soon was woken when he heard a knock on his door. Drew opened it to only be met with a crying Katie, he felt her collapse into his arms as he concernedly held her up. Drew sighed as he shut the door and looked down at her. "Katie....what's wrong? Is the baby okay?" He questioned wondering if it was all over so soon if the test had been a false positive or something, yet Drew was scared to have her here, because the last girl he loved broke his heart and she had just done the same hours earlier he pushed her back a bit and shook his head. "Katie its late you need to go home to Jake." She was pregnant their deal was over she had to leave him and summer alone. He couldn't let his daughter see how unhappy he was without Katie.

Katie knew that it was possible that Drew wouldn't answer the door since it was so late, he was probably asleep with Summer, but she had to do this, she had to tell him the truth, that the baby was his, not Jake's, and it might be too late for them, but he had to know, she had to try this time. She looked up at him as he shut the door and asked her what was wrong. She shook her head. "The-the babies fine," She whispered, smiling slightly. "The...it's yours," she said, looking up at him. She was growing frustrated when he pushed her back and told her she needed to go home to Jake. "We're getting a divorce," She blurted out, looking up at him. "We're...I'm done. He...he lied to me...all along. He made me feel like I wasn't good enough, but it was him who wasn't...he can't have kids, Drew...he's infertile," She told him, tears running down her cheeks still. "The babies yours."

Drew was half asleep he just rubbed the sleep from his eyes trying to process everything until he heard that the baby was his, his ears perked up but he knew his deal and then he heard that they were getting a divorce he was so confused. "So he knows you cheated on him?" Drew told her as he ran a hand through his hair and then looked down at her stomach. "Oh wow.." Drew told her still a bit in shock, he reached out wanting to touch her stomach but he drew his hand back, he had told her about Bianca and when she was pregnant he hadn't been allowed to touch her, to touch her stomach. Drew looked down and nodded. "Do you uh need some place to crash? You can take my bed." Drew todl her softly.

Katie looked up at him, seeing that he was half asleep. She knew that this wasn't the time for this conversation, but she wanted him to know, she needed him to know. She nodded her head. "Yeah, I told him...we've been fighting all night," she told him. "But...I packed a bag and I'm just...I'm done. He's lied to me so much...and I don't trust him anymore," she whispered. She watched him start to reach out and then drew his hand back, remembering what he told her about Bianca, She reached out for his hand and put it on her stomach, silently telling him that it was okay to touch her. "I...I can go find somewhere," she said, shaking her head. "I don't want to be an inconvenience...I just...you needed to know," She said softly, expecting him to kick her out.

Drew sighed as he felt her take his hand though, and place it on her stomach as he smiled softly. "It's like two in the morning Katie, the mother of my child won't be out on the streets looking for somewhere to stay....stay here." He told her as he pulled her close to his chest and then leaned down pressing his lips to hers. "Maybe if you ask sweetly, you can get me to cuddle you." He teased her as his hand still rested on her stomach, he was glad that the baby was his because it broke his heart when she said it was Jakes. Drew had wanted a baby with her so bad, that he had hated the man she had been married too.

Katie looked up at him and smiled slightly as he placed it on her stomach and bit her lip. "If you're sure," She agreed, glad that he was offering because she just...didn't want to go anywhere else, she just wanted to be with him now. She kissed him back and smiled slightly. "Please cuddle with me?" She asked softly, looking up at him, bringing her hand to her stomach, covering over his. "I'm sorry I was stupid...I'm sorry for everything. This is your baby and...and I love you," she said softly, afraid that he didn't feel the same way, but she had to say it.

Drew smiled down at her and he nodded. "I am sure you are going to stay with me, because we gotta figure out how to explain this to my daughter." Drew told her with a smile and then nodded. "Sure baby." Drew told her and he kissed her forehead holding her hands gently. "It's fine Kat..." Drew heard her say those three words and his eyes welled up with tears he just grabbed her face and pulled her in for a kiss as he kissed her passionately. "I love you too, and this baby, our baby." Drew said honestly as he bent down and he held her sides. "Hey you are just a peanut, not even, but I'm your dad, and well your mommy, she's a tough woman, but daddy's going to take care of her now...I hope that's okay with you cupcake....you just grow, and soon Daddy will be able to tell you he loves you too, not just your mommy." He told his or her child, as he stood up again and took Katies hand he led her back to his bedroom and grabbed a button up shirt of his. "Go shower relax and get out of those clothes okay?" Drew couldn't stop smiling he was finally getting a baby with Katie.

Katie looked up at him and nodded her head. "We can figure something out," she agreed, biting her lip. "Eventually." She bit her lip and looked up at him as he said sure and then kissed her forehead and held her hands. She still felt so guilty for what she had done today, for not realizing that it was his baby. She looked up at him and felt a few tears fall down her face as she saw tears in his eyes. She kissed him back and smiled. "I love you so much," She whispered, letting him bend down and talk to her belly, smiling. She giggled and listened to him talk to her, thinking that it was so sweet and adorable and she just loved it so much. "I love this baby too," she whispered. "And I love you taking care of me and the baby," She said. She let him lead her to his bedroom and nodded her head when he told her to go shower. "Okay, I'll be back soon," She promised, kissing him and going to the shower. She didn't stay in there long, but when she finished, she pulled on his shirt and went back to his bedroom.

Drew nodded. "Yeah I know we can figure it out eventually, I'm just happy that I'm the guy you want... its not just because of Jake right? I mean you seemed so happy you were having his baby earlier." Drew said bringing up his doubts even though he heard that she loved him he just spoke to the baby. Standing up as he led her to his room. Drew smiled as he kissed her back. Drew climbed back into bed once he was just in his boxers and smiled over at her when she came into his room. "Come on lay down." Drew told her he was still a bit sleepy from it all, but he was excited to be a father again, as he just let Katie cuddle up to him.

Katie shook her head as he spoke. "No, of course not," she said. "I never got over you, Drew...never. I just tricked myself into thinking that I loved him," She explained. "But I am truly so happy and honored to be carrying your baby," she told him. She let him just speak to the baby, not minding him touching her at all. She looked up at him and smiled as she walked into his room, in his shirt, smiling. She nodded her head and walked over to him, cuddling up against him. "I'm so happy i'm having your baby, Drew Torres," she said, kissing him.

Drew smiled it was a bit funny just because no one had ever been honored to carry his baby. "Just remember you said that when he or she starts making you sick." Drew told her with a smile as she came into his room and cuddled up against him. "So you've told me...I'm just glad I could help you get a family Katie, that I could get you pregnant." Drew whispered as he kissed her back and relaxed back into his bed.

Katie looked up at him and bit her lip, laughing. "I am already looking forward to all of it," she admitted. After trying for almost two years, she was just...beyond thrilled to finally have a baby, to finally become a mother. "I'm beyond happy that it was you," she told him softly. "I could never imagine anyone else fathering my children, honestly," She said, smiling and resting her head on his chest.

Drew smirked softly. "I'm glad, that you are so happy to be having a baby." Drew knew she'd be a good mother to his child or to their child he should say. "Okay, okay I get it, you are happy I knocked you up." He teased her and laughed softly, as he kissed her head. "You are still wearing your wedding rings.." Drew mumbled against her head. He hated the thought of it all of her still being married tho he knew he had her for now.

Katie looked up at him and bit her lip as he spoke. "I'm very happy," She giggled, smiling at him. "And...I know that Bianca didn't let you touch her, but you can touch me, touch my stomach...most of the time," she told him. "Except for maybe when i'm sick," she said. She smiled as he kissed her head. She looked down at her hand and frowned, before she pulled them off and tossed them across the room, feeling free, giggling.

Drew smiled at Katie. "I am too.." His breath hitched at the mention of his ex wife, and he sighed. "I think I can be okay with that, I just.. yeah I like that idea." He finished watching her pull them off and toss them across his room. "Making a mess already." Drew looked at his hand and pulled his own wedding ring off, they were already free and now together. "Do you think you could contain your excitement for a few hours so we can get some sleep?" Drew asked her and laughed softly.

Katie looked up at him and smiled. "I'm glad," She said. She bit her lip and smiled at him. "Yeah? I'm really glad you do," she said, smiling at him. She giggled and shrugged her shoulders and looked at him. "Well, you loved it, didn't you?" She asked, smirking. She kissed his cheek and ran her hand over her stomach as he pulled his own off. She nodded her head and yawned. "I think I can manage that," she smirked.

Drew smiled softly, knowing things were going to change but it would be okay. "I'm happy." Drew admitted to Katie before he rolled his eyes. "Sure I just love women throwing shit around in my room." He teased her as she kissed his cheek. He laid back and smiled. "Wake me up when you get up okay?" Drew told her and kissed her head before he fell back asleep holding Katie and his baby close.

Katie looked up at him, ready for the changes, for the way that things were going to be different. "Me too," She said. She bit her lip and giggled. "Well, when said things symbolize something else, than you should really be happy i'm tossing wedding rings around your room, ones that mean nothing," she teased. She nodded her head and fell asleep, curled up next to the man she loved.

Drew smirked. "I am happy you are tossing them away from you and around the room." Drew admitted as he fell asleep he held Katie through the night, and he would shift when she did so he made sure his body was pressed close to hers, his daughter slept peacefully in her room too. Drew was nervous and excited but with Katie there he slept calmly.

Katie smirked. "Told you," she said, kissing him gently. She slept through the night, peacefully, just happy to be with Drew. She woke up around seven and felt like she was going to be sick so she got up and rushed to the bathroom and was immediately sick into the toilet, she tried her best to pull her hair out of her face.

Drew woke when Katie rushed from bed, he groaned as he rolled over before he pushed himself up and went to the bathroom pulling her hair back as he tied it up in a pony tail for her. Drew left the bathroom to give her some space as he went and cuddled with his daughter as she woke up. Drew couldn't help but smile at the thought that Summer would be a big sister soon enough, he just hoped that she'd take to the new baby

Katie was surprised when he came to the bathroom and pulled her hair back into a ponytail for her, loving the little things that he was always doing for her. She eventually finished throwing up and flushed the toilet and rinsed her mouth out, walking past Summer's room, letting them have some time together as she went into the kitchen to get a glass of water.

Drew kissed the top of Katie's head before he went to relax with his daughter, the little girl grew more animated as she woke up and started speaking with Drew. Drew eventually got her up and out of bed as her face lit up. "Mrs. martin!" The little girl ran to her teachers legs and hugged her teacher as best as she could from her short height.

Katie knew that it was important to let Drew and Summer have their own time and to be able to get used to this whole thing...to her being in their lives in a very different way. "Hi Summer," She said, smiling when she saw how happy the little girl was. She leaned down to her level. "Good morning, how are you today? Did you sleep well?" She asked, smiling at her.

Drew smiled over at his two girls and he laughed softly. "I slept okay... did you stay the night with my daddy? that's his shirt." His daughter said giggling as drew moved in and picked his daughter up. "Okay you nosy little girl how about you go brush your hair out and daddy will braid it for you today? That sound good?" Drew asked her as she nodded hugging him as he set her down and she ran off. Drew gave Katie a shrug. "sorry, bout her... guess you will have to get used to her now." Drew wasn't sure what Katie wanted or how she wanted to be in his daughters life.

Katie looked at her and smiled, biting her lip. "You're a very observant little girl,' she smiled, looking up at Drew, not knowing what to say to her, not wanting to say something that Drew didn't like. she watched her run off to her room and shook her head. "Don't apologize, I adore her," she told him, shaking her head. "Really. i just don't want to say something that you don't want me to," she explained. "I just...don't want to mess anything up for Summer or for you," she admitted, biting her lip. "But whatever you want to tell her, you can,' she said. "I want to be a part of her life if you'll let me."

Drew looked at Katie and took her hands. "I am glad that you adore her because she's my world." He told katie and then he shook his head. "I think that we should keep the baby from her, from now, let her get adjusted to you being around and then we can tell her. I have a feeling she will be excited eventually about it." Drew looked back at his daughters bedroom and he looked at Katie again. "Well can you braid hair? She hasn't had her mother around to do those girly things with her, maybe I dunno paint nails or whatever you girls do.. I am a guy I try for her but I know she needs a female for those sort of things, so if you want to be part of her life then go build a relationship with my daughter... I'll get breakfast going."

Katie looked at him and bit her lip as she looked up at him. "I know, and i don't want to ever get in the way of that," she told him. "Whenever you need Summer, Drew time, i'll back off and you can have it," she promised him. She nodded her head. "I agree...we don't need to tell her until i start getting bigger,' she said. She looked at him and nodded her head. "I can do that," she said. She bit her lip and kissed him gently. "You do so well with her hair though," she told him, before she walked into Summer's room. "Hey," She greeted, smiling at her. "Your dad asked me if i could do your hair...do you mind?" She asked, sitting down with her.

Drew was glad that Katie understood everything though he did eventually wanted to see if he could make her come into the family dynamic. "Thanks katie that means alot to me." He told her and then nodded, they'd figure it out later. Kissing her back softly he shrugged. "I've had practice." He told her and then he watched her go. Summer was brushing her hair when she looked up at her teacher. "Hey." She said shyly and then she bit her lip her daddy always did her hair and it was strange that Mrs. Martin wanted to do her hair. "Daddy always does my hair tho...do you know how to braid?" She asked her teacher unsure if she really wanted the woman touching her hair.

Katie would love to one day be accepted into his family, but she knew that it would take a lot of time and patience. She bit her lip and smiled. "Of course," she said, nodding her head. They had nine months to figure everything out, they didn't need to do that today. "Well, you're really good at it,' she said. Katie watched the little girl brush her hair and watched her as she said 'hey' and she could just tell that she was a little unsure about it. She nodded her head when she spoke. "I do, i'm pretty good at it," she told her. "But daddy does do a really good job with your hair," she told her. "If you want, you can call me Katie when we're outside of school," she offered, looking down at her.

Drew wondered how Summer would take to Katie he didn't know if it'd end up a good thing or not. "She always likes her hair that way I had to watch some you tube videos on how to do it at first I was pretty bad at it." He said laughing softly, as he started to cook for his girls. Summer thought about it about what Katie was saying and looked up at her. "Can I call you Mrs. Martin?" The little girl asked and then handed her brush over to the woman and sat on her lap so she could brush her hair. "I love my daddy." Summer said off handedly as Drew just started cooking some of his little girls favorites.

Katie was a little bit nervous about how Summer was going to take to her, but she was determined to make this work. "Well, you're a good dad for doing that for her," she said, smiling at him. She let Summer think about what she wanted to call her and bit her lip before nodding her head. "Sure," she told her, shrugging. "Whatever you want to call me is fine," she said, smiling at her. Katie took the brush from her and slowly started to brush through her hair and then started to braid it. "Your daddy is a very good man," she said. "He really loves you," she said.

Drew shrugged. "Shes my daughter I'd do anything for my kids." Drew told her and then summer went on smiling. "Can you show me how to braid hair? My dolly wants her hair braided too." Summer said to Katie about the doll in her lap. She looked up at the woman. "Do you love my daddy too?" Summer asked as Drew finished up breakfast wanting to give Summer time to warm up to Katie.

Katie looked at him and smiled. "Of course,' she said. She looked down at her and nodded her head. "Definitely!" She said. "I can show you right now if you want," she said as she finished braiding the little girls hair. "Or after breakfast," she said. She bit her lip and then nodded her head. "I do," she admitted. "But I want you to know that he's still your daddy and if you ever just want alone time with him, i'll give it to you, okay?" She said gently.

Drew bit her lip as she looked at her hair. "It's not bad." she told Katie and then she nodded. "After breakfast." She said as she listened to her teacher but frowned. "You aren't staying are you?" The little girl questioned as she seemed upset by this used to being the only girl in her daddy's life besides her mommy but that was okay with her. She ran out to the kitchen and to her father. "Daddy, tell me Mrs. Martin isn't staying." She pouted up at her father and he sighed he knew this reaction would come. "Baby girl daddy's helping her out so for now she's staying yes, why do you not like Katie?" The girl shook her head. "My daddy." she said as she looked back at the woman. "Of course I am your daddy, no other girl is going to take you from me you got that squirt?" His daughter nodded and drew held her close. "Come on lets eat pretty girl than we can talk more."

Katie looked at her and smiled. "I'm honored that you think so," She said. As she sat there with Summer, she could see a little bit of Bianca in the girl, but she was overwhelmingly Drew's child. "I don't know...maybe," she said, seeing that she was upset. She sighed when she ran out of the room and ran her hand through her hair, not knowing what to do. She stayed there and let Summer talk to her father, figuring that that was for the best right now, since she was a little bit upset. After a few minutes, she walked into the kitchen, but hung back, not wanting to get in the way or upset Summer even more. She couldn't help but smile at how possessive the little girl was over her father. Katie bit her lip and thought that maybe this wasn't such a good idea, maybe she should go stay with her mom instead of here, upsetting his daughter.

Drew knew it was going to be trying but Katie had to be patient with Summer all of this was new to the girl. Drew sat down with his daughter and then went to Katie as he looked down at her. "Give her time, she's got to get used to a woman being around. She's only had me. she will warm up to you Katie." Drew gave her a reassuring look not sure now that this was best for his daughter and his family but Katie was pregnant and he wanted to be there for his baby too. Sitting down next to his daughter he looked at her plate and smiled. "Daddy made your favorites so eat up pretty girl." he told his daughter and then motioned for Katie to sit and eat with them.

Katie was ready to work to get Summer to like her, she knew that it wasn't going to happen overnight, and she was okay with that. She looked up at him and bit her lip when he came over to her, nodding her head. "I know she will," she said, smiling at him. She just wanted Summer to be happy, but it seemed that that was going to be harder than she thought it was, but she was willing to do the work and make this work out for them. Katie waited until Drew motioned for her to come sit, before she walked over and tried her best to get as much food down since she was feeling a little sick still.

Drew sighed a bit knowing the dynamic was changing but he'd make it work somehow. Once breakfast was done Drew looked at Katie. "I hate to ask because I don't want you to think that I am getting rid of you, but I think we need to move a bit slower with Summer." He looked over at his daughter playing on the floor. "I am here for you and our baby I hope you know that, but is there anywhere else you can stay for now? Just until we can get used to summer having you around?" Drew questioned knowing it didn't mean that they wouldn't have time together but he also knew that he had to ease his daughter into it and not push her because then he could lose the delicate relationship he had with his daughter.

Katie bit her lip and already knew what he was going to ask before he even said it. She nodded her head. "Yeah, I can figure something out, don't worry. I can stay with my parents or even with Maya or Marisol," she said, giving him a small smile. "I get it, Drew...she's not used to me and she doesn't really like me yet, i can go figure something out, promise," she said softly. It was going to suck to move back home, but she was willing to do it so Drew and Summer could have a relationship still. She didn't want to ruin that, she didn't want to screw everything up and if that meant going home than she was going to do it for him. She bit her lip and ran her hand over her stomach and just gave him a faint smile, afraid of what her mom was going to say.

Drew wanted it all to work out so he was waiting for his daughter to warm up but it had to be strange since she was her teacher too. "Maybe you can try with her at school she seems comfortable with you there." Drew took her hand and sighed. "Well I am here, and you are allowed to stay here until you can figure it out, I want to support you Katie... I love you." He told her he didn't want Katie to leave and think that he was abandoning her or something. He saw her hand move over her stomach. "want me to come with you when you tell your parents? We kinda got to tell mine too." Drew told her softly.

Katie knew that it must be weird for Summer, she knew that the little girl was used to just having her dad and now she had to share him. "Yeah, I can try that," she said, nodding her head. She bit her lip and smiled slightly. "Thanks, Drew," she said, letting him take her hand. "We never said it was going to be easy," she said. "But I love you too," she said, smiling slightly. She sighed. "They're probably going to be pretty upset...but if you wouldn't mind," she said. "Are they going to be mad?" She asked, biting her lip, looking nervous.

Drew lifted Katies hand to his lips and kissed the back of it. "You know I am happy about this baby right?" Drew wanted her to be excited still even if they had a few hurdles to get over. "No we didn't baby. But you got me." He replied and then nodded. "Probably, I mean you are having a baby with a man that isn't your husband." Drew shrugged. "I know it's what we wanted but Jake was still your husband and I am sure they thought that he tried to make you happy so... but it will be okay." Drew reassured her.

Katie bit her lip and smiled as he kissed the back of her hand. "I know," She said, nodding her head. She hated that she was going to have to leave him, but she knew it was for the best. "I know," she repeated, resting her head against him for a few minutes. She sighed and shook her head. "my mom will understand, i think...she was always asking about grandkids...so i think she'll be thrilled,' she admitted, giving him a small smile. She looked back down at Summer. "Do you want me to help you braid your dolls hair still?" She asked, not wanting to break her promise.

Drew just wrapped his arms around Katie and let her relax. "Alright well how about the next night Bee has Summer we go and tell her yeah?" Drew gave Katie a smile and then he gave his daughter a look and the girl nodded. "Sure Mrs. Martin." She brought her doll over as she watched Katie and helped her as she braided her dolls hair so it matched her own hair. Summers face lit up a bit more. "Daddy doesn't play with dolls with me, says boys don't play with dolls." She told her teacher and Drew tried not to snicker.

Katie looked up at him and smiled as he held her and she just relaxed. "That sounds like a good idea," she agreed, biting her lip. She was afraid to tell her parents, but they had to know. She smiled and sat down with Summer, patiently showing her how to braid her dolls hair. She smiled as Summer's face lit up when she finally got it to match her own hair. "You're a natural at this," She smiled. She bit her lip. "Oh, yeah? If you want, we can play," She offered. "I used to play dolls with my sister all the time," she said.

Drew smiled. "Okay so give your mom a call and let her know we will be over tomorrow or something." He told her and then he smiled as his daughter seemed intent on the instruction she was receiving. "Really? I gots plenty of dolls, my daddy says I have too many." Drew smiled a bit as he just shrugged at Katie he laughed as summer grabbed Katies hand and dragged her into her room. He knew his girls would be at it for a while so he went and laid out on the couch enjoying not having to entertain his daughter.

Katie looked at him and nodded her head. "Okay, I will," she said, smiling at him. She watched how attentive Summer was as she showed her how to braid hair. She was really enjoying teaching her. "Well if you ask me, there's no such thing as too many dolls," she said, smiling up at Drew as Summer lead her into her room, willing to play whatever she wanted. The two girls sat there, playing together and talking. Katie was really enjoying playing with the younger girl, thinking that maybe this could be the start of their friendship.

Drew listened to his daughters chatter and he just smiled. Looking at the time he got up eventually and walked to the door. "Summer time for you to get dressed pretty girl, we gotta go to your lesson." Drew gave the little girl a look and she nodded. Looking at Katie he smiled. "She likes riding horses. Or well miniature ones for now until daddy thinks she's big enough for a real horse.

Katie continued to just play with Summer and have fun, looking up at Drew when he came into the room, tilting her head when he said that she had a lesson. She looked questioningly at Drew and then nodded her head. "Wow, that sounds awesome, Summer," she said, smiling at her. She got up and bit her lip, looking at Drew, figuring that she was probably going to have to go home or go do something so they could go to her lesson.

Drew smiled at Katie an dthen his daughter got changed as drew looked down at her. "You can hang out here while I take her if you want, she won't be here to care." Drew told Katie knowing he was trying with her and just hoped his daughter would warm up soon.

Katie bit her lip and looked at him, nodding her head slowly. "Okay," She said, biting her lip. "I...might go back to Jake's to get the rest of my stuff before he and Mo have a chance of ruining all of it," she told him, biting her lip.

Drew nodded. "Alright, well just be careful yeah? With Jake and everything babe." Drew was worried about Katie but he still had his life to live and he couldn't stop it even if he wanted too. "I love you call me if you need me." Drew told her before he picked his daughter up and carried her to his car.

Katie had taken a pregnancy test this morning, thinking that maybe, just maybe she was pregnant, but the results had been negative. She had been in a bad mood all day, even though she was trying her hardest not to, she just...really thought that it would happen this month. But now that it hadn't, she thought that maybe...she was the problem, not Jake. Maybe she really had screwed everything up for herself with the drugs and her eating disorder, and now she wasn't going to be able to have kids. She couldn't talk to Jake about it, of course, since he wanted nothing to do with babies, and he would probably be happy that she wasn't pregnant, so after dinner, she told Jake she was going out to the gym, and she drove over to Drew's house. She knew that Summer was at Bianca's so they didn't have to worry about her. She walked up to the door and knocked, biting her lip, hoping that he wouldn't be mad at her for just stopping by. When he opened the door, she gave him a small smile. "Hey," she said. "I hope this isn't a bad time."

Drew had given his daughter over to her weekly visit with her mother. Drew hated the nights that summer wasn't here, and he was alone in his apartment. Hearing a knock at his door he was confused but he got up and opened the door. "Hey..no its not, I wasn't expecting you though, you okay?" Drew questioned as he let her into his apartment, usually he was sneaking Katie in after summer was asleep he closed his door and walked over to the couch and sat down. "Come sit if you want." Drew had fallen in love with Katie again, so any time she was upset he just wanted to be there and to support her.

Katie bit her lip and knew that Drew hated the nights when Summer wasn't there, so she had a feeling that he wouldn't mind having some company, even if it was just for a little while. She shook her head. "Not...not really," she admitted, walking into the apartment when he let her in. She ran her hand through her hair and took a deep breath, walking over to him, she sat down and curled up next to him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I'm...I'm not pregnant," She said softly, not really understanding how that was possible considering how many times they had slept together, how could she not be pregnant?

Drew looked down at Katie when she curled up to him and he wrapped an arm around her as he ran his hand along her arm. Hearing that she wasn't pregnant he just hugged her. "Were going to make it happen okay?" He picked her hand up and laced their fingers together as he gave her a smile. "soon I can feel it Katie, your belly will just swell with a child."
