Pray right now for your future husband/wife. Pray that God protects them and let's them feel his presence right now, that he shapes them into the man/woman God wants them to be. And, if you're feeling really dangerous, pray that God shapes you to be the best spouse you can, to shape your heart to be the man/woman God wants you to be. Marriage is being attacked. With all the divorce rates going up and everything else, we are loosing sight of what a truly God-centured marriage should look like (and truly, your future marriage should have God in the middle and a top priority). An interestingly wonderful thing happened today. My Dad and Brother forgot that I was Bi, and my Mom told my Dad again and he started to have the exact same conversation we had the first time I told him. He started with telling me that I should only ever be with someone I really loved, then added "it doesn't matter if it's a boy or a girl, if you love them then that's all that matters. Love is Love and it shows itself in many forms, and I believe you have a big enough heart to see and feel it all". So I went over and gave him a hug and thanked him for once again accepting all of me and loving me unconditionally.
But then I started to wonder if anyone else forgot...SO! I proceeded to - for a second time - tell my family that I was Bi. I went to my first brother and said that I had just talked to Dad, etc. And then told him again. He looked at me for a second then said "Sorry, It didn't really matter to who you liked so I forgot". I couldn't help but smile when he said that. So typically him. I gave him a hug and told him I loved him and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
On to my last brother no more than 15 minutes ago, I go up to him and say "You know I'm Bi right?" And he said "Yeah. Why you get a girlfriend?" And OMG was he excited at the thought!!! I laughed, we hugged and then both went to our rooms.
I love my family and not that I ever doubted it, but it was nice to hear from them that I was unconditionally loved
