Unakite
Unakite is a type of Granite that commonly has inclusions of different gemstones which is what makes Unakite a gem itself. Inclusions of Epidote, Quartz as well as multiple forms of Plagioclase and Feldspar rocks. It has a hardness of 6-7 and is tumbled rather then carved or hand polished like quite a few gems are. Its colouring is speckled green and pink and is found more commonly to be used as beads for jewellery. It is not that rare and there is a high change any crystal collector has had at least one Unakite bracelet in their collection at some point. In addition it is also commonly used as decorations as carved figures, animals sculptures as well as multiple forms of pendants. This gem is said to have been first discovered and recorded in 1874 and named after the Unaka Range Western North Carolina, U.S. It is unknown just where distribution of this gem is since its definition, inconsistent classification and names make it more difficult to track. However there are quite a few known locations for distribution some being: many locations in the United States, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ireland. Unakite symbolises growth, emotional balance and harmony. It is associated with the heart chakra.
This information is not my own nor are the images, I am not an expert. It was all found from various websites. New followers! Thank you for following, I never expected that this blog would get likes or followers at all so thank you so much for interacting and for following! These are old slideshow pages of mine, I stopped writing a few months ago due to loss of motivation. I was hoping that if I posted them then maybe I would get some motivation to start writing again. There will be new writing once I've posted all of the gems I've already done!

[Sunny sits by the river near the factory, watching as catfish swim by. They can't shake off the feeling that they aren't alone, like pressure on the back of her neck. She throws a glance over her shoulder and catches movement. Someone is out there]
Hello? Anyone there?
