i'm here with more shipping agendas except this time it's Umemiya x Endo, because LISTEN-
Endo needs someone that can genuinely love him without wanting to hurt him, and from someone that doesn't need his acts of service but can actually appreciate them and reciprocate β For all I love EndoChika, i love Endo more- and I want his issues with needing to be needed to be addressed and rectified
Umemiya, meanwhile, needs someone that can take care of him in return, and not need his constant protection. Not only that, he deserves someone who would spoil him with breakfast and homecooked meals and meet him at his level β For all I love UmeTsuba, it still falls majorly to Umemiya to be the main giver. which I do think Tsubaki would push back on, but Endo is far more feral than Tsubaki is
now take those dynamics and keep in mind that Endo is an awful judge of character. He hates Umemiya, and probably believes that hatred to be mutual [because he does not truly think he can be loved, or even tolerated, without giving up the world to 'deserve it']
I'm a big EndoChika and UmeTsuba truther but I am first and foremost a multishipper at heart and Umemiya praising Endo at every corner while Endo literally hates his guts is such a fun dynamic... two guys who have devoted themselves to the well-being of others, who have so much love to give, no matter if it's reciprocated... both so adept at recognizing a person's wants and needs, but having entirely different philosophies on what to do with that knowledge... both willing to do Everything for the people they love, even if it ends up hurting them... Endo's obvious single-minded focus vs Umemiya's subtle one... actually I might like them a lot lmao
