man i love MiniMax aircraft so much. they’re like one of the few ultralight brands that actually look like airplanes and not like one of the the Wright Brother’s failed experiments
if plan B is to become an a&p, id probably ditch the medical bs and build something from their ultralight line, prob the 1030f. just gotta take meticulous care into maintaining the 2-stroke engine

Platte River
We’re vacationing with family near Frankfort, MI and I took advantage of the opportunity to revisit a favorite section of the Platte River this morning.
My most memorable previous visit including me landing a coho salmon on my little ultralight set-up. This time wasn’t quite that exciting, but I did manage to catch a small rainbow and a brown during a short wade before heading back for more family time.
