This Pokemon was originally native to the same world as Poipole, Naganadel, and the people of Ultra Megalopolis, being found in canyons originally, their native range has expanded greatly ever since Necrozma took light from the world. Many smaller Pokemon find comfort in being around Scovour due to the natural light their species makes to communicate, consisting of their mask rapidly shifting from mirroring to bursts of light to "talk" to others of their kind. They're deeply social creatures and very protective.
Scovour is made up of multiple distinct creatures, similar to a Combee, Maushold or Dragapult, formed of the larger "Hive" which communicates and wanders, and the "Workers" which consist of a smaller creature that collects food for the colony. Not much is known as they keep their distance from Ultra Megalopolis and similar cities due to the artificial lights, but its theorized that the "Workers" could be a pre-evolution, though unlikely.
