Mandatory introduction.
I would like to point out first who I am.
I am someone who loves the UK anime community, and has done for over 20 years. Whilst I have patience, I also have a side that doesn’t really tolerate any bullshit.
And in these last 10-or-so years, there is something in the community that is a thorn-in-the-side of most of us (most of us who really care, anyway):
Animeleague.
This account WILL NOT be based around rumour and speculation, it will be based around hard and solid facts. As someone who wants to investigate what kind of organisation Animeleague really are, it is only better that any speculation or such should be avoided.
I will not be revealing my real name/username/alias, for three reasons. First is that people in the UK anime community, especially those who organise cons, know me (or at the very least, have heard of me). Second is that the head honcho of Animeleague also knows who I am, and thus I want to make sure he doesn’t completely discover who the person behind this investigation is. Hell, I’m not even bothering to make my avatar or Tumblr theme look pretty. And third, I want to avoid using Facebook, Twitter and Google to put these points across, and as I figure Livejournal is as good as dead, what better way to put points across (whether they be long reports, or masses of images), than something like Tumblr.
I will expect several notes here complaining, telling me that I’m on some kind of rampant SJW crusade to bring Animeleague down, or that I’m some whining little bitch...well I know that AL is an established organisation, and so the likes of me have no power to just take them down with a mere Tumblr account. And I’m no believer in some kind of mass social media revolution, telling people to stand up to the man, cover their faces in public, and telling them not to drink the Kool-Aid, and so on.
All I want to do is present facts, and show people that Animeleague (and the senior staff behind it), are not all what they claim to be. You, of course, have every right to completely ignore the posts I write; as I say, facts rule this account, and not speculation and opinion.
And that is it. Here we go. Upcoming in the first weekend of July is London Anime and Gaming Con at the Rocket Complex Student Union Building at London Metropolitan University. Their biggest con, Alcon, is something I cannot attend however, due to my going on vacation.

PS: If you wish to bring up any facts regarding Animeleague, feel free to, but I am only interested in solid evidence, not plain opinions. Images, videos, anything. Bear in mind, though, that you will be named.
PPS: If (and when) I am ever contacted by them, I will be putting down what they mention in any corrections, false allegations, or anything more serious.
