Liz mumbled as her phone vibrated and beep signaling she got a text. She groaned and reached across for it. Thankfully it wasn't a call, she was in no mood to talk to anyone. Liz hated being woken from her sleep especially now it was mostly what her body wanted. She looked at the screen and saw it was a text from Avan, a small smile graced her lips and she unlocked it to read the message. 'Avan: This is Taylor. I know everything, so don’t even try and lie to me. I’m only telling you this one time and one time only. STAY AWAY FROM HUSBAND. I never want to see you near him again. Don’t even try to contact him because I will know if you do. I don’t know what kind of little game you’re trying to play, but you won’t win. Last time I checked, HE’S MY HUSBAND!! NEVER SPEAK TO HIM AGAIN or I will find out.' Liz frowned as she reread it a couple times. "Huh?" She had found out about the kiss and was mad. Liz knew she had every right to be mad at her but to threaten her was….." Liz sighed and looked into the dark eyes of Steve. He whimpered almost like he could feel how she felt. 'Liz: Lying was never on my mind, Taylor and I'm not trying to play any game, he kissed me.' She erased the text in frustration and placed it in her pocket. Liz knew she wouldn't win she had already lost when Avan had met her. She got up and watched as Steve did the same.
Liz walked into her newly stocked kitchen and sighed. She refilled Steve's bowl of food and water. Her pocket vibrated and she rolled her eyes assuming it was Taylor again. 'Mike: I'll be over soon to pick up Steve and we need to talk, Elizabeth.' Her eyes widened in panic. "Great could this day get any worse." She hopped onto the counter and pondered on how she would handle the Mike situation. He was the reason she had decided to move back to Cali and she knew she should've left Steve with him but she had ended falling for the little dog. She giggled as said dog walked by her legs and tried to hop up to her. "When will you learn you'll never be able to hop up with your tiny legs." Liz hopped down and picked him up. "Come on lets pack your bag so Mike has one less thing to complain about." She understood why Taylor was so mad, Liz had been in the same predicament expect she wasn't married to or had kids for her ex. Liz placed Steve on the bed and placed her hand on her stomach. It was aching but she wasn't sure if it was from hunger or from regret.Â
