as much as i sad post about Dess being Eopie's only batchmate, it also means he takes every opportunity to be just embarrassingly proud of her. prime example, how when Eopie gets her official midwife certification, he immediately sends out a GAR-wide message announcing it & basically telling everyone to hype her up right now because she deserves it!! and her fellow medics do hype her up & Eopie is now known not only as Holopres Girl but as The Only Certified Trooper™️. love that for her ✨️

one thing that makes me absolutely feral crazy is the idea of the clones having repeating nightmares about killing the jedi, their generals in particular (idk if it's canon or fanon but it fucks me up either way). by extension: Dess having nightmares about killing No'va & he hates it. worst fear made manifest when he's just trying to survive this war. anyway.

i haven't really talked about the rest of Eopie & Dess' batch, partly bc it's not a happy story. their other three batchmates were all decommissioned very young bc of deviations/ defects that the kaminoans deemed "unacceptable." it's a commonly held belief among the clones that their fallen siblings are "marching far ahead" & preparing the way for them. anyway, something something three fates, something something.
