With more than 350 historical aircraft filling 6 hangars and covering over 80 acres of desert on the outskirts of Tucson, Pima Air and Space Museum is one of the largest non-government funded aviation museums in the world. Following on the success of an earlier project, asking a group of artists to paint nose cones of airplanes for a show, in 2012 gallery owner @EricFirestone added to the museum collection asking several high-profile street artists to paint entire planes. Among them Andrew Schoultz, whose work draws inspiration from German map-making and Persian miniatures and often references chaos and destruction in the world around us, painted this Lockheed VC-140—the military version of the JetStar—looking out over Valencia Rd.  @aschoultz  @pimaair
