So Orion gave him to a trusted old friend, Kup. And Kup raised Hot Rod. Keeping his true sire and carrier a secret, as Orion made him promise.

And now Optimus Prime, a mech who has stood in the front of worse mechs, dangerous mechs, vicious foes. Cannot stand next to the familiar young Autobot who has the same face as his past lover.
