did the strength of the few meet anyone's expectations? or was it as good for the ones who enjoyed the first book? i will read it regardless because i am very much intrigued on where the story will go i just don't know if it's to the extent where i'd spend 2x as much for the hardcover or if i should just wait for the paperback to release.
