As I promised yesterday when I posted, I would present and explain the "Two Envelopes" Many of us are familiar with the great Napoleon Hill and his masterpiece "Think and Grow Rich."  The two envelopes is not the traditional math problem from school. Oh no no no......this tool is far more useful and literally life changing when you understand and use. It comes from the great Andrew Carnegie and some of his very first advice to Napoleon himself. Much as the statement, "if you can conceive it, and believe it, you can achieve it," has everything to do with your mindset and belief. I promise you, if you apply this tool in your daily life it will bring you peace of mind, make you more aware of everything, and all around immediately improving your quality of life! THE BEAUTIFUL THING ABOUT DOING THIS IS, IT'S SO SIMPLE AND EASY TO DO!  My Prefece: As I say on my "WHY" page, we all stand on the shoulders of the great giants and mentors of all time. Along with most "Gurus,"  "movers and shakers,"  motivational speakers etc., in today's day and age, I would consider just about everything out there I hear, read, and listen to, as another brilliant way to package the same fundamental brilliant information that has been presented many times before. This one is coming directly from one of the original sources in Andrew Carnegie. Myself, as a person always looking for the easiest, simplest way to learn and master things, I look for the very fundamental. The "atomic' and "Sub-atomic" level of things, if you will.  And with the fundamental particles of matter, I AND YOU TOO CAN CREATE ANYTHING! Sorry for the geek out into physics land;-) I WILL BE POSTING IN THE VERY NEAR FUTURE MY FUNDAMENTAL BUILDING BLOCKS. MY " PROTON, NEUTRON and ELECTRON," if you will. And how to apply  DO THIS: Get two envelopes. !. On the first envelope label it: "The riches I enjoy if I take possession & control of My own mind and direct it to the ends of my choice." 2. The second envelope label: " The penalties I pay if I neglect to take possession & control of my own mind and direct it." After you have made those labels, put in the envelope labeled #1 cards or paper labeled: Sound Health Peace of mind A labor of love of your choice. IE: go back to school, start my business, etc. Freedom from fear and worry A positive mental attitude Material riches of my choice and quantity Hopefully you get the idea now and you can put other things in the envelope as well :-) In the envelope labeled #2 put cards or paper labeled: Ill health Fear and worry Indecision and doubt Frustration and being discouraged throughout life Poverty and want Evils, such as; Envy, greed, jealousy, anger, hatred, and superstition Again you get the idea now and can put other things in the envelope. HOW TO APPLY Put both envelopes somewhere where you can see them first thing in the morning. Each day as you wake up, before you do anything else, look at them, and look at the contents inside. Then make the life changing decision every day, which one you want to open today. IT'S THAT EASY & SIMPLE TO DO! As time goes on, and you have created that daily routine and habit, you will be able to do this automatically by just looking at the envelopes without opening up. As well, you'll be able to do that every day without even having the envelopes, but it is the first thing in your mind each day. As well throughout the day, I find myself making that choice multiple times. I promise you, if you do that consistently for at least 30 days, you will never stop doing it your entire life. I guarantee you will have less stress, peace of mind, feel better, and the quality of your life will go up exponentially!
