Ppl talk about the right wing engagement farms on twitter but there's also feminist outrage farming accounts
Like I've blocked so many that post what is clearly an article about survivor of abuse or someone else's anecdote reworded to sound like it's something they personally or someone they know in real life went through
& i keep seeing ppl on here screenshotting/reposting those twitter accounts with no comment on the source of the post at all
If something is worded emotively, if it makes you angry while confirming your biases/worldview then please check the source before you share it
For the accounts on twitter I've noticed a trend, always a female selfie pfp with some light editing, a string of emojis as the username that's totally unrelated to the @ & a checkmark of course
They never acknowledge if someone posts the article they're apeing in the replies either but do reply to other accounts posting similar content
