They covered Norwegian evacuation ships as well as convoys on the Seoul–Incheon road. The first USAF operation in this war. #USAF #KoreaWar

This twin-engine fighter was 40 mph faster than the Bf 109 and loved by test pilots for its incredible agility. It was armed with four machine guns and two cannons. Yet, the Luftwaffe ignored the Focke Wulf Fw 187 Falke. The FW 187 first flew in May 1937 and just nine were built.
