The thing about MLP shipping is if you pair up any of the princesses you need to reckon with the fact that they will outlive their partner and it will be tragic and filled with mourning.
You mustn't let this dissuade you, write about the Princess of Love going catatonic when she learns her husband is dying, write about Celestia giving a kiss goodbye to yet another lover.
The point I'm trying to make is that Twilight x Luna ships should be more common and I want to read some good ones.

Twiluna for ship bingo?
Okay, I'm back, I forgot a bit
Okay son, sit down because we need to finally have this conversation.
Twiluna is... definitely something. It has one problem, but that's not how everyone talks about it. Everyone's worried about their age gap, but that's not a problem because they're both adults and met as adults. If it were Celestia or Cadence, it would be a problem, but not in this case. I think mortal x immortal is fine because it's a completely fictional thing with no real chance of existing in our world... and besides, they don't say the same thing about Fluttercord, so some people should stfu.
I mean, they're legally related through Cadence and Shining's marriage, and that's what's going through my head. Believe me, I used to ship them, but after I brought it up, I kind of backed off. But to be clear: ultimately, I don't think shipping Twiluna is bad. It's complicated/maybe problematic, but comparing this ship to THESE ships is a bit much. They don't have family ties between them and I don't know if they generally perceive themselves that way, so it's more of overthinking. This is just my moral compass and I cannot impose it on others.
In this case you can relax a little bit because I don't think it's a big deal or anything.
