some wm/hrpf fanfic is giving twilight/fifty shades of grey, in that while i could maybe see why you would think that, at the end of the day edward cullen simply would not be a sadist dom

unfortunately at a point in my twilight rewatch that i have rediscovered my genuine and earnest love for edward and bella, underneath the rubble of the past 17 years, covered in dust. but still there

i believe that immediately after the credits on breaking dawn end edward kills jacob by cutting his head clean off

something REALLY interesting about rewatching/reading twlight as an adult is how there are definitely scenes where you can see rob is much more locked in than in others. i think in eclipse he's playing edward much more seriously than in others movies and i find that really fascinating because it's not really the most central movie on edward / he has to share time with jacob. but for me all this movie does is show over and over again that jacob was never an option for bella. and i find the contrast to them playing up jacob being "hotter" than jacob, i still find edward much more unintentionally sexy 🤷🏻‍♀️ he's not trying to be hot, he just is. there's this seriousness to edward that i really appreciate. he's someone who is frozen in time, and feels so disconnected from the world but when he smiles it's so sweet and you remember he was a person once. i'm tired of people making fun of rob's performance okay, he ate it down. even if he laughed at the source material in it's silliness. we all love it bc it's kinda stupid and kinda bad.

Edward having to have an actual real conversation with a person for the first time in 100 years is pretty fucking funny because he's really bad at it.
