Unpopular opinion but I don't think Midna's true form should have been conventionally attractive. All the other Twili we see have blank eyes and weird noses. She talks to Link about how the Twilight has its own beauty even though it seems strange or sinister to him, and then it turns out her true form is just...a tall hot girl. She should have looked more like Zant, to drive home the point that looking freaky isn't the same thing as being bad, what matters is your actions.
It's cool if her imp form has more Hylian-like features, it's a transformed state, and it would even be appropriate if part of the curse from her POV was being not just shrunken and partially depowered but replacing her beautiful Twili face with a "weird" Hylian one. But her true form should resemble the rest of her people.
