not in any romantic context, but i think 11 and 12 would work very well together
(Guys i dont like them for the sake of shipping i swear theyre actually interesting to me)
11 being sporty and very oftenly doing physical activities, shes probably tired a lot. 12 being a more calmer person, often seen meditating or helping others, would pair well with 11.
This was mainly the dynamic i saw in them to be shipping them in the first place, but this actually works very well even when they are just friends!
I could see 11 and 12 being best friends in canon, they really would work well together. Also 12 already is probably used to high energy people since her brother is 18, im sure she'd enjoy 11's company just as much.
Also they keep getting paired up so much(sometimes seen as a trio with 13) and sometimes it wasnt even necessary for one of them to be there(like the subtraction somersaults episode what was 12's purpose for appearing) so it is kind of implied they hang out(with their other friends too ofc like 13 and 14)And in 17's debut episode, we see both of them viewing the same piece of art together(aka 3 suffering for like the 5th time that episode) and the episode does show popular pairings thats like really big in the shipping part of the fandom(1x2, 6x8, 13x14. And off topic but why tf was 9 alone drinking his milk in the museum like no food or drinks allowed sir and also like where was 15 and 16)
And also the way they keep looking at eachother reminds me of how i keep looking at my friends when some bs happens
They of course also have their own similarities such as being good leaders. 11 is more of a team leadership type though 12 is a more motherly figure(seen in that one episode with the numberblobs)
This is just me saying this because i realized i never really focus on their dynamic much in any of my posts about them. It always involves a my headcanons or maybe even mischaracterization since i thought itd be cute/funny which i am sorry for. It was really mostly shipslop for a while, i always focused more on their trope of "sporty x calm" but ik theyre more than that. I should really try to post more ships relating to their dynamic, like based off actual things we know about them instead of doing the same pinterest shipbase slop ive been producing.
Theyll forever remain my favourite pairing, even if i stop shipping, ill love their platonic dynamic because my god please give me more calm and sporty duos
