#tw shouting

I just got home, I was feeling alright... That my mother entered the house.

(I'm in my room so I couldn't hear what tha argument was about)

But my mother came in and started shouting at my dad? (Not sure but I think)

And my blood ran cold, I was expecting for her to storm upstairs to scream at me.

She hasn't but they're still arguing, quieter but I can still hear them.

My sister joined in defending my dad? (Not sure again) But she's only 10 and I'm worried. I don't want her to grow up like me. So I take the brunt of the pain for her.

I'm scared it isn't enough. I'm scared she's going to end up like me.

I don't like how my immediate reaction is fear that it's about me. And that I'm going to me shouted at or lectured.

I'm actually dripping sweat rn because of the panic.

I don't like this. I want to go home. Real home. Not this place.

I want to be cared for, not to feel weird when they show me a little human respect.
