The Codex of the Forgotten One
In the time before time, when the veil between worlds was but a breath, there was born a child of ruin and rebirth. A soul neither mortal nor godly, but something in betweenâan echo of lost ages, woven with the threads of fate itself.
I. The Scarlet Witch â The Weaver of Chaos
Origins
Born from the threads of chaos itself, the Scarlet Witch is no ordinary wielder of magic. She is a force, an anomaly in the grand design, a being capable of reshaping existence with but a thought. Her power is ancient, whispered in the oldest tongues, feared by gods and demons alike. The blood of the first witches flows through her veins, a lineage traced to the dawn of creation itself. The Scarlet Witch was never meant to be contained within mortal lineage. She is an anomaly in the universe, the child of chaos itself, a being whose very existence defies the order of reality. Her magic does not flow from a source; she is the source. Where other witches draw upon spells and incantations, the Scarlet Witchâs will alone bends existence.
There are whispers that she is the last remnant of something older than even the first gods, a fragment of the raw creation that shaped the cosmos. Others believe she is the universeâs attempt to rebel against its own fate. The Scarlet Witchâs power stems from the manipulation of reality, the ability to bend and break the natural order:
Chaos Magic â The essence of unpredictability, capable of altering fate itself, â A gift of chaos, bending probability and reality to her will. The force of the Scarlet Queen allows her to alter the very fabric of existence, weaving the universeâs threads like a masterful seamstress.
Reality Warping â The power to reshape existence, making the impossible real, the power to rewrite fate, shifting the course of time and space
Hex Bolts and Craft â Concentrated bursts of chaos magic that disrupt matter, energy, and even time. Cursing or blessing with a thought, shaping outcomes beyond mortal comprehension.
Mind Manipulation â The ability to weave illusions, plant thoughts, or fracture psyches.
Probability Alteration â Shifting the outcome of events, turning certainty into impossibility.
Energy Manipulation â Harnessing energy in its purest form, shaping it into devastating blasts or shields.
Mind Dominion â The ability to slip into anotherâs thoughts, twisting their perceptions, rewriting their memories, or fracturing their very essence.
Fate Manipulation â Probability is merely suggestion. What should happen, what must happenâthese are irrelevant to her will.
Philosophy of Power
The Scarlet Witch does not wield magic; she is magic. Where others cast spells, she reshapes existence. She does not follow rulesâshe defies them. But such power comes at a cost, for the universe does not suffer imbalance lightly. To touch chaos is to hold the threads of creation in your hands. Pull too hard, and the tapestry unravels. But no power comes without weakness just like every action has its consequences, she too tied to vulnerability. Â
Emotionally Driven Power â The stronger her emotions, the more uncontrollable her magic becomes. Her power is tied to her emotions, and when they are unchecked, reality itself becomes fragile.
Instability of Chaos â Her magic is not governed by rules; it is unpredictable, even to her.
The Weight of Fate â The more she alters reality, the more reality pushes back, seeking balance. The more she pulls at realityâs fabric, the more it frays.
The Cost of Change â Every action has a price, and reality does not take kindly to being rewritten.
A witch does not need permission to act. The world moves, and she moves with it, or she forces it to kneel.
II. The Dark Phoenix â The Eternal Fire
Origins
Before time, before creation, before even the first star ignitedâthere was the Phoenix. A force neither good nor evil, neither merciful nor cruel. It is the cosmic fire, the unending cycle of destruction and rebirth. The Dark Phoenix is what happens when the infinite power of creation is touched by mortal handsâwhen desire, grief, rage, and hunger stain the purity of the flame.
To wield the Phoenix Force is to hold the heart of the universe itself. To be claimed by it, however, is to burn away everything you were, consumed by a power that neither forgives nor forgets.
The Phoenix Force is not born; it is always. It is the primeval fire, the first and final breath of the cosmos, the cycle of destruction and rebirth given form. The Dark Phoenix is what happens when that fire is tainted by mortal desireâwhen the hunger for power, control, or vengeance takes root within the heart of the host. It is the great paradox: infinite potential, boundless fury. A force that nurtures life and consumes it in the same breath. A cosmic will that neither judges nor forgives, only acts.
The Dark Phoenix does not borrow energyâit is energy, limitless and eternal.
The Phoenix Force â An inferno of rebirth, a cosmic force of destruction and renewal that answers to no god, only to her.
Telekinetic Supremacy â Moving matter at will, from the smallest atom to celestial bodies. The ability to move not just objects, but entire planetary bodies.
Mind Dominion â An unrivaled psychic force, capable of breaking and mending minds alike.
The Dark Awakening â A force beyond comprehension, the power to burn away existence and reshape it from the ashes.
Cosmic Flames â Fire that burns not only flesh but the soul itself.
Telekinetic Mastery â The ability to move planets, reshape the cosmos, or crush a foeâs body with a thought.
Psionic Supremacy â Unrivaled mental prowess, capable of shattering minds or linking to the consciousness of all living things. A mind that touches all things, past and present, across time and space.
Resurrection and Rebirth â The Phoenix cannot truly die; it will always rise again. Death is irrelevant. The Phoenix always returns.
Matter Manipulation â The ability to reduce existence to ash or create life from nothing.
Philosophy of Power
The Phoenix is not a gift; it is a test. To hold its power is to stand at the precipice of destruction, forever battling the temptation to let go. It offers infinite might, but at the cost of one's soul.
She is fire. She is death. I am life. There is no before, no afterâonly the burning moment.
Before one can wield power without fear, they must know and understand where the crack in the armor begins from.
The Hunger of the Flame â The Phoenix is a fire that never stops burning. Once unleashed, it consumes all.
Loss of Self â The longer one wields the Phoenix, the less they remain themselves. They become it.
Celestial Bonds â Forces beyond mortal comprehension seek to control or destroy it.
III. The Scarlet Phoenix â The Convergence of Power
The Birth of a Legend; Origins & Bloodline
She was never meant to exist. The Scarlet Witch bends reality, and the Phoenix Force devours itâtwo forces that should never touch, yet within her, they are one. She is the impossible convergence of chaos and cosmos, a being of prophecy and nightmare alike. The ancients call her The Scarlet Phoenix, the force that will either save the universe or end it.
She is known by many namesâThe Unbound, The Shadow Between Stars, The Daughter of the Hollow Flame. Her power does not stem from the elements of earth or sky, nor from the divine or the damned, but from the very essence of creation itself. A force older than the gods, yet feared by them. Her ancestors were not born but made, carved from the marrow of the first dying star. They walked unseen, tethered to the whispers of the universe, and from them, she inherits both blessing and curse.
She was never meant to be. A being crafted from the fabric of chaos, born with the blood of the ancients and the fire of the divine. The convergence of cosmic will and eldritch fate, she walks the path of the Scarlet Queen and the Dark Phoenix, inheritor of both their power and their curse. Her existence was foretold in the celestial alignments, her arrival marked by the unraveling of the old worldâs order. She is neither wholly light nor dark, but an eternal balance between creation and destruction.
A storm wrapped in flesh, a fire that devours and renews, she shall be the one to challenge the gods and defy destiny itself.
The raw force of her abilities stems from two opposing yet intertwining sources, The power within her is not learned but remembered. It is instinct and hunger, an endless wellspring of unseen forces. When chaos magic and cosmic flame entwine, they form something entirely new Among her many gift
The Sight Beyond Time â To witness what was, what is, and what may yet be. But beware, for knowledge is a double-edged blade.
The Breath of Undoing â With but a word, she may unravel enchantments, break bonds, and silence the unnatural.
The Calling of the Forgotten â Those who have passed do not remain so in her presence; the veil is thin, and she may summon back the lost, though not without consequence.
The Hollow Flame â Fire that does not burn, a light that devours darkness itself.
Absolute Creation and Destruction â The power to build and annihilate with equal ease. Nothing is beyond her reach. She can birth new realities or reduce them to cinders.
Temporal Sovereignty â Not merely altering fate, but breaking and rewriting time itself. The past, present, and future are hers to command
Godlike Telekinesis â Beyond force, beyond movementâshe can will existence itself to obey her.
Mind fire Dominion â Thought becomes reality; a single idea can shape the universe. A single thought can rewrite existence.
The Phoenix Hex â A curse beyond magic, beyond reasonâa single word can undo existence. A curse spoken in chaos and flame, an undoing that not even the gods can reverse.
IV. Prophecy of the Scarlet Phoenix
Her arrival was foretold in the dying whispers of seers and the silent screams of the void. The prophecy is written in the very stars:
"She will walk the path of fire and shadow, her footsteps reshaping the world with every step. The gods will fear her, the weak will worship her, and the deceivers will seek to chain her. In the end, she alone will choose: To burn the universe to cinders⊠or to forge it anew."
"She will walk among monsters and call them kin. She will be loved and feared in equal measure. But when the blood moon rises, she must choose: to embrace the darkness within or to burn it away."
Her fate was never hers alone. She is the keystone of all things to come, a being who will decide the fate of gods and men alike. The prophecy carved into the foundations of time speaks thus:
"She shall rise from the ashes of a dying world, bearing the fire of the ancients and the whispers of thef orgotten. The cursed ones will seek her, the righteous will fear her, and the deceivers will claim to love her. In the end, she alone will choose whether to unmake the world⊠or forge it anew."
The Weaknesses That Bind Her
power of this magnitude does not come without cost. Though she stands as a force beyond mortals, she is not without vulnerabilities. Her strength is vast, but it is unnatural, an affront to the balance of all things. Because of this, she is huntedânot by man, but by fate itself.
Emotional Instability â Her power is tied to her emotions; rage, grief, and fear amplify her abilities but also make her susceptible to corruption.
The Anchorâs Burden â A single soul may anchor her to humanity, grounding her power, but their loss would tip her into oblivion.
Overuse of Power â The Phoenix Force is insatiable; the more it is used, the closer she comes to being consumed by its hunger.
The Scar of Chaos â Magic that binds reality itself can wound her, for she is both a creator and a destroyer, not an unshakable god.
The Burden of Memory â She sees too much, feels too deeply. Time is an ocean, and she is drowning within it.
The Ties That Bind â While she may summon the dead, she cannot send them back so easily. Each spirit called is a chain upon her soul.
The Ashen Blade â There exists a weapon forged in the heart of her own power, a blade that can sever her from existence itself. It was made by those who once feared her kind, and though lost to time, it still hungers for her end.
To wield both is to walk the razorâs edgeâtoo much, and she will fall into oblivion; too little, and she will be devoured by those who seek to control her.
V. Those Who Sought the Power â And Failed
Throughout history, there have been those who tried to claim the power of the Scarlet Phoenix. Some sought it out of greed, others out of desperation. All of them failed.
The High Priests of Velyr â A secret cabal who believed they could contain the Phoenix through ritual. When they attempted to bind it, their bodies burned to ash, their souls unmade.
The Shadow King â A warlock who believed he could siphon the Scarlet Witchâs power. He did, for one heartbeat. Then his body twisted into an abomination, forever trapped in a state of becoming and unbecoming.
The Starborn Prophets â An ancient alien race who sought to harness the Phoenixâs cosmic fire. Their entire civilization vanished in a single breath. Not destroyedâerased from time itself.
There is no claiming this power. It is not something to be wielded by the unworthy.
They all thought they could take it. They all believed they could own it. They are dust now. And the dust does not remember.
V. The Awakening Rituals
For one to fully ascend, to wield the full might of both forces, they must endure the Trials of the Eternal Flame:
1. The Trial of Ashes â To experience death and be reborn from its embrace.
2. The Trial of the Mind â To break free from the chains of illusion and see the truth of existence.
3. The Trial of the Void â To face the darkness within and accept its embrace without losing oneself.
Only those who survive these trials will claim their rightful place among the legends.
Three destinies lie before her:
1. The Harbinger of the End â To let the fire consume, to unmake reality in a storm of flames. To succumb, to let power consume her, and become the end of all things.
2. The Weaver of the New Dawn â To reshape existence, forging a world free of fateâs chains. To embrace rebirth, to burn away the rot and allow the world to begin again.
3. The Cursed Eternal â To deny both, to forever exist between destruction and salvation, never at peace.
The Cost of Ultimate Power
There is no triumph without sacrifice. To wield such power is to exist beyond mortality, beyond normality. She will never be merely human, never know a simple life. She is not a weapon, not a hero, not a villain. She is a force of nature, bound by no master but her own will.
you are not meant to follow. You are not meant to serve. You are the storm, the fire, the reckoning.
Choose wisely, for whatever you decideâthere will be no turning back.
VI. The Final Words of the Ancients
"You are the storm, the fire, and the darkness. You are the light, the hope, and the despair. Do not seek to be one or the other, for your fate is to be all. The world will fear you, love you, hate you, and beg for your mercy. The only question that remains⊠is what you will choose to become."
This grimoire is not merely a book; it is a living record of the Scarlet Phoenixâs existence, her power, and her destiny. It can be hidden, burned, sealed away, but it will always return to her handsâbecause it is a part of her, just as she is a part of the chaos and fire that forged it.

STILES POV
Light streaks were hitting my face, making me groan. I tried to cover them with my hands, but it seemed like the light could pierce through my skin.
Softly letting my eyes open, I felt my swallow breath. I was inside a locker, and I didn't know what had happened for me to end like this. My mind rapidly went to Scott, was he alright? Did the supernatural come back? I just couldn't remember what had happened for me to end in such a situation. And what about Y/N?
I hit the door, trying to get it open. My breathing became even more accelerated as the door didn't budge. Finally, after using as much strength as I could, I freed myself from the confined space, just to notice that I was in the locker room at school. What was I doing here?
Everything was dark, and as I glanced down at my feet, I noticed that I was barefoot. Then, my eyes slowly went up. Â I was in my pyjamas.
Coming out of the locker room, I couldn't help but be wary, afraid to be attacked by some beast. At the end of the corridor, I saw an open door, which seemed to have light.
While going inside the room, everything seemed to be a mess. Chairs and tables were laying on the floor, in positions that weren't ordinary. But my heart beat even faster as I saw the Nemeton in the middle of the room. I slowly placed my hand on it just to be caught by branches.
I gasped, sitting down on my bed. It was just a nightmare. I was safe in the confines of my bedroom. I was safe. Everyone was safe.
"You okay?" A familiar voice asked me, and I quickly turned around. Her hand landed on my bicep, squeezing it gently. "Stiles?"
"Yeah," I tried to steady my breathing. "I was just dreaming." I closed my eyes for a couple of seconds. "I was just dreaming. It was weird. It was like a dream within a dream."
"A nightmare?" I placed my hand on top of hers, not daring to look at my girlfriend as she would get worried about me.
"Yeah." I sighed. "Wait a second, Y/N." I glanced at her, noticing a big smile on her face. "What are you doing here? I dropped you home last night." I hear the crack of the door, rapidly examining it as it opened. "Hang on."
"Stiles, where are you going?"
"I'm just gonna close the door." My gaze didn't shift from the door, and for some reason, it made me feel dizzy.
"Just come to bed, baby." Not even the pet name I loved to hear made me turn around.
"No, no, I should close it." I was in a trance as I walked closer, taking small steps.
"Don't worry about it." Her voice seemed to warn me, begging me to go back to bed.
I shook my head, tasting the sweat that was now running over my lips. "What if someone comes in?"
"Like who?" She didn't move from the bed. "Just go back to sleep, Stiles." I was standing now in front of the door. "Stiles, just leave it. Please. Stiles." My left hand reached to touch the knob. "Stiles, come back to bed. Stiles." I gripped the handle, quickly turning it and opening the door. "Please. Don't, Stiles. Don't!" She was yelling so loud that my heart was breaking, but I didn't listen to her. I couldn't. "Don't go in there, please, don't. Please, Stiles, don't!" I did. I walked through the darkness.
But soon, the darkness became more than one blinding light. My body shivered as the wind hit my bare arms. I was underdressed to be at the-. Where was I? Lacrosse field, why?
"Okay," My breathing became uneven. "It's a dream. This is just a dream. It's just a dream, get it out of your head, Stiles." I talked to myself. "You're dreaming. All right? So, wake up, Stiles." I couldn't breathe properly, and the tears invaded me as I was terrified. I hit my head repeatedly. "Wake up, Stiles. Wake up!"
"Stiles?" I turned around, seeing Y/N again. Why was she on the lacrosse field.
"W-What are you doing here?" I wandered to her, confused by the situation. I extended my arms, cautiously, trying to make sure that it was her. I sighed in relief as she came into my arms, embracing me. Her body was shaking.
"I don't know." She swallowed, glancing around to move her gaze to me. "I was home, and then I was here." She shivered, and I quickly rubbed her bare arms.
"Okay," I tried to calm myself down. "Let's go home, okay?" I placed my hand on her lower back, encouraging her to walk with me.
"My dream was scary," She stopped walking, and I felt so broken as soon as tears started rolling down her cheeks. "Y-You were there, and you tried to kill me, Stiles." She was loudly weeping.
"It was just a nightmare, baby." I grabbed her cheeks. "I would never do that to you. I would kill whoever comes near you."
"But you did, Stiles." She moved away from my hands. "You tried to kill me!" She screamed so loud that my ears started vibrating. "You tried to kill me!" It became even louder. "So I will kill you first." She showed me her hands. She was gripping a shiny knife, and before I could do something, she repeatedly stabbed me in the chest, wickedly smirking.
I shouted as loud as I could. Hardly noticing how my dad came into the room, hugging me from behind and trying to calm me down. However, I couldn't stop screaming.
"Mmmh," My mouth was watering. My elbows resting on top of the counter as I glanced at the food Melissa was preparing. "Smells so good."
She glanced at me, smiling. "Hopefully, it tastes good too." She chuckled. "I'm not a good chef." Due to her shifts at the hospital, I had learnt that she hardly ever cooked, preferring to order food.
"Well, if it tastes as good as it smells, you will have to change your shift to cook more often." I grinned while she laughed.
"I don't think so." Shaking her head, she stirred the vegetables. "Ugh, I think Scott left the grocery bags on the living room. Can you bring them here?"
I started walking towards the living room, not taking my eyes from her. "Not surprised my dear brother is so distracted." As I heard her laugh, I decided to look to the front, not wanting to hit any furniture. But there weren't any, because I was in the middle of a field. "M-mama McCall?" I called, even though I knew she wasn't there.
Everything was dark, and the moon seemed to laugh at me. I could see its reflection on the surface of a lake. I leisurely walked towards it, confused. My eyes were focused on the water, as I thought I saw something moving inside it. Bubbles were coming up, and as I tilted my head to the side, a hand came from underwater, seizing me by the neck.
I gasped, grabbing the flaky hand with both of my hands, trying to lessen the grip around my throat. But the only thing that happened was me getting farther from the ground.
A giant monster who reminded me of the Kanima was holding me up from my neck. And as I peered down, I was at least fifteen meters away from the ground.
His enormous green eyes studied me. He opened his mouth, a repulsive smell invading all of my senses. His teeth were sharp and stained. I thought he was going to eat me alive, but he was showing me how Stiles was on his mouth, screaming for me to help him.
"This is your fault!" He was crying. "IT killed my dad, and now it's going to kill me!" His face was red, and my anxiety rose as I couldn't answer his claims. "It all started because you came to Beacon Hills! You brought the Kanima! You did i-." His words were interrupted as he was swallowed by it.
I could finally scream. "STILES! STILES!" I closed my eyes as tears ran down my cheeks. "STILES!"
Hearing my name, I turned around. I was sitting on the floor of the living room, and Melissa was looking at me with a worried expression decorating her face. "Hey, hey. What happened?" Her hands caressed my hair, and as I tried to control my breathing, I couldn't help but lean on her. "Are you okay?" I nodded my head. I wasn't okay.
"I'm okay." I stepped closer to Stiles and my brother, not feeling like offering them a smile.
"No, you're not." The hazel-eyed boy shook his head. "It's happening to you too. You're seeing things, aren't you?" I glanced at him, bewildered.
"How'd you know?" My brother asked, attempting to control his breathing.
Overhearing steps, we saw Lydia and Allison getting closer to us. "Because it's happening to all three of you."
"Actually," Everyone glanced at me. "To the four of us." I swallowed, gaze shifting to my boyfriend. He made a sign for me to get closer to him. His arms engulfed my body. Both of us sighing in relief. "It was terrifying."
"Well, well, look who's no longer the crazy one." The strawberry blonde girl seemed to be enjoying our terrifying expressions and the dark bags under our eyes.
"We're not crazy." Allison rolled her eyes.
Lydia turned around, glancing at us. "Hallucinating? Sleep paralysis? Yeah, you guys are fine."
"We did die and come back to life." My brother stared at us. "That's gotta have some side effects, right?"
"I didn't," I added, hugging myself. "I didn't do that, so why is it happening to me too?"
I felt a hand grabbing mine, fingers intertwining. "We keep an eye on each other. Okay?" The Stilinski boy received nods as an answer. "And Lydia, stop enjoying this so much."
It didn't seem like the day would be easy. We had this new teacher, who made us forget about what was going on for a couple of seconds as he embarrassed his daughter, who was one of our classmates. However, Scott's eyes started to glow, and Stiles and I had to let him know.
Then, I received a message from Lydia. She told me that Allison was doing as bad as us. She had fucked up a canvas, and she had imagined it was the blood of her aunt Kate.
I walked closer to the lockers with the boys. "Maybe we need a little more time to get back to normal." My brother was trying to convince himself.
"Yeah," And my boyfriend wasn't taking it as he fought his locker. "Try not to forget we hit the reset button on a supernatural beacon for supernatural creatures. There's a pretty good chance things are never going back to normal."
"Yeah." Both of the boys got distracted. Stiles studied his locker as if he was seeing something while Scott had noticed the new girl at the end of the corridor, creepily peering at her.
"Oh shit," I bit my lower lip. Both boys quickly glanced at me, making sure that I was alright. "Your eyes are flashing."
"You mean like right now?"
"Yes, right now." Stiles nodded his head, looking around, making sure that nobody noticed. "Scott, stop. Stop it."
The other boy panted. "I can't. I can't control it." He quickly covered his eyes with his hands, keeping his head low. Stiles and I guided him towards a classroom, closing the door behind us. He took his backpack and his jacket off, letting it fall to the floor. "Get back away from me." His voice was deeper than usual. "I don't know what's going to happen. Get back." His fangs were out.
I got closer to Stiles, and he didn't hesitate to step in front of me in case my brother would completely lose his mind. But he didn't. His nails stabbed the inside of his hands, blood dripping down his arms. Then, he just went back to normal.
Stiles and I stepped closer, glancing at my brother whose face was full of sweat. However, the boy still kept me behind him. "Pain makes you human." His voice wavered.
"Scott, this isn't just in our heads. This is real. And it's starting to get bad for me too. I'm not just having nightmares. I'm having dreams where I have to literally scream myself awake." I rested my hand on his back, rubbing circles on it. "And sometimes I'm not even sure if I'm actually ever waking up."
"What do you mean?" I asked, frightened.
He glanced at me for a couple of seconds to later look into the distance. "Do you know how you can tell if you're dreaming?" My brother and I shook our heads. "You can't read in dreams. More and more, the past few days, I've been having trouble reading. It's like I can't see the words. I can't put the letters in order."
"Like even now?" Scott asked.
The Hazel eyes shifted their gaze to the blackboard. "I can't read a thing."
"You know, the last time we bought one of these to her grave was stolen the same day." Stiles placed some flowers on top of his dad's desk. "Hundred bucks down the drain." I couldn't believe that people would do that. "Hey, Dad?" Mr. Stilinski was sitting on the floor, behind his desk. "Hi, what are you doing down there?"
"Working." He went back to look at all the papers that were scattered on the floor. "And hey, if somebody wants the flowers that badly, they can have them. It's the gesture."
"Hey, Dad, what is all this?"
"I've been looking over some old cases from a more illuminated perspective, if you know what I mean." I snickered, nodding my head as Stiles did the same.
The boy grabbed some files. "Strange sighting of bipedal lizard man sprinting across freeway."
"Kanima pile." Mr. Stilinski hit some other files as his son placed the folder where his dad told him.
"Mr. Stilin-." As I received a look from him, I quickly changed my words. "Noah, you're not going back through all your old cases seeing if any of them had something to do with the supernatural, are you?"
"I admit the recent opening of my eyes to the greater mysteries of the universe has got me reassessing." He sighed. "There's at least 100 cases here where I look at the details, and I can ask myself if I knew then what I know now."
We both kneeled on the ground. "Right, but are you sure you wanna go down that path?"
"Do I have a choice?" He got up. "There's one case in particular that I can't get out of my head." He passed some files to us. I got closer to my boyfriend, trying to take a better look. "Eight years ago, I was elected Sheriff of County, my first official duty was to tell a man that not only had his wife, and two kids died in a car accident, but, as best we could tell, the body of his daughter had been dragged from the wreck by coyotes."
I gasped while studying the picture of a little girl, happily smiling. "You mean dragged and eaten?"
"We didn't find the car until three days after the crash. They had driven off the road into a pretty deep ravine. Two bodies that were still in the car were covered in bites and slashes." He seemed to be reminiscing that old case.
"So you're thinking bites and claw marks, probably a werewolf attack?"
He nodded his head at his son. "Maybe."
"But coyotes, they scavenge, right?" Stiles shook his head. "So, couldn't they have just left the bites and the slashes?"
"Absolutely." He nodded his head. "But guess what night the accident occurred on?" He pointed to the bold date on the file.
"The night of a full moon." I added, glancing at my boyfriend who was already looking at me.
"Hey, Dad." Hazel eyes glanced around the room, examining all the boxes that were scattered around. "Where are all these going?"
The Sheriff sighed, biting his lip. "Yeah, we, uh-." His eyes focused on me. "We probably need to talk about that."
The next day, all of us were nervously sitting on a table outside of the school. And as much as I wanted to enjoy the weather, I just couldn't.
"Okay, so what happens to a person who has a near-death experience and comes out of it seeing things?" My brother asked without taking his eyes off the wooden table.
"And is unable to tell what's real or not?" Stiles added, his legs bouncing up and down.
"And is being haunted by demonic visions of dead relatives?" Allison spoke up.
"And can't stop dreaming about dying people blaming her?" It was the first time I blatantly spoke about my dreams. Stiles glimpsed at me, worried, and swiftly kissing my forehead.
"They're all locked up because they're insane." I snapped my gaze to Issac, grabbing one of Stiles pencils and throwing it at his forehead. He gasped, rubbing the spot where I hit him. "For half my childhood, I was locked in a freezer. So, being helpful is kind of a new thing for me."
The owner of the pencil and the person I hit with the item started to argue. "Hi. Hi, sorry." I glanced to my side. The new girl was standing there, clutching a notebook between her fingers. "I couldn't help overhearing what you guys were talking about. And I think I actually might know what you're talking about." We didn't say anything, waiting for her to continue. "There's a Tibetan word for it. It's called 'Bardo'. It literally means 'in-between state.' The state between life and death."
Lydia sounded mean as she spoke up. "And what do they call you?"
"Kira," My brother instantly answered. Smooth, McCall. "She's in our History class."
"So are you talking Bardo in Tibetan Buddhism or Indian?" The strawberry blonde seemed to be a little more interested. However, her tone didn't prove the same thing.
"Either, I guess." She glanced at me, and I moved closer to Stiles so she could sit beside me. "But all the stuff you guys were just saying? All that happens in Bardo. There are different progressive states where you can have hallucinations. Some you see, some you just hear. And you can be visited by peaceful and wrathful deities." She smiled.
"Wrathful deities?" I couldn't help and grin as Isaac repeated her last words. His chin, resting on top of his hand. "And what are those?"
"Like demons!" She was too excited about the topic while we were probably shitting our pants.
"Demons." Stiles looked around, nodding his head. "Why not?"
"Hold on," Allison decided to interrupt. "If there are different progressive states, then what's the last one?"
"Death. You die."
That same night, we decided to talk with Deaton, asking for help and explaining the situation that was suffocating us. He believed that after going underwater, we had opened a door in our minds, and we needed to close them as soon as possible because it was making us vulnerable.
I was confused and informed him that I was going through the same thing as the other three. The only difference was that I never got in one of the bathtubs. Deaton was also surprised but believed that the Kanima had opened a door in my head. A door that like the other three, I had to close.
As we were coming out of the vet clinic, a car pulled up. "Dad, what are you doing here?" Stiles glanced at his father as he rubbed my arms. He had already given me his jacket, but I was still freeing.
"I'm here because I could use some help." His gaze shifted to my brother. "Actually, your help." My brother asked why. "Because eight years ago, almost an entire family died in a car accident. One of the bodies, a young girl named Malia, was never found. There's enough evidence to have me thinking that a werewolf could have caused the accident, and then dragged her body away." Stiles and I already knew about this. "If you could somehow get a lock on her scent if you could somehow help me find her body, it might provide the missing clue."
"But what if it was a werewolf?"
"Well, there's somebody out there who murdered an entire family. Someone who still needs to be caught."
And that is how we ended in another mess. Mr. Stilinski had driven us to the Tate household, and he planned to distract Mr. Tate while we sought for something that could help Scott pick up her scent.
My brother was sniffing some plushies, hoping they would be the lost girl's ones. "All I'm getting is some animal smell."
Stiles grabbed another plushie. "What kind of animal?" As we heard a growl, we turned around. A big dog was studying our movements as he snarled. "Hi, puppy." We didn't move a finger. "Get rid of it." My brother was puzzled. "Yes, you. Glow your eyes at it, something, be the Alpha."
"I can't. I don't have control." The curly-haired boy shook his head, trying not to make drastic movements.
"Can you like, smell each other's butts and be friends?" I genuinely asked, receiving a look from both boys. Scott wanted to roll his eyes while my boyfriend agreed with me.
The dog felt intimidated, and he started barking as loud as he could. Mr. Tate screamed at him, and we were glad to be on different floors of the house. Apollo, the dog, shut up immediately, leaving us on our own.
However, Noah was kicked out of the house as Mr. Tate couldn't stand the thought of his wife and girls being murdered. He had spent eight years of his life trying to accept that they were killed in an accident.
When the four of us where far from the house, Scott had to inform the older Stilinski that he wasn't able to pick up a scent. "Why is it so important now?" My brother asked as he observed Noah driving away.
"He wants to be able to solve one more while he's still Sheriff." Stiles glanced at this friend.
"What do you mean, 'still Sheriff'?"
"That doesn't make any sense, Dad!" Scott continued screaming, and my anxiety rose, wishing for Melissa to come back home. "Who are you helping? Just get out."
"Scott."
"What? I can't believe that you'd do this to my best friend." He was spitting due to how angry he was. I decided not to interfere as a couple of minutes ago, when I tried to calm him down, he snapped at me.
"I'm not doing anything to your friend." I scoffed, receiving a look from him. "I'm doing my job."
"Your job sucks."
"Some days I can't argue that."
I heard the door opening, glancing at Melissa who was coming late from work. She sent me a confused expression, and I quickly shook my head.
"Can somebody tell me what the hell is going on?" She placed her bag on the couch. I wandered closer to her, standing by her side as she brought me nearer her body. Screams, I couldn't stand people screaming.
Scott offered me an apologizing look but continued. "He's trying to get Stiles's dad fired."
"No. That's not true."
"What are you doing?" Mama McCall came to our rescue.
"Conducting a case for impeachment."
"That sounds a lot like getting him fired."
"The lack of resolution and ability to close cases is what's going to get him fired. My job is just to collect the information. And it's the job my superiors have given me." He attempted to defend himself.
"Beacon Hills needs Noah Stilinski as the Sheriff." I decided to interfere, mad by how he was addressing the man I appreciated with all my heart. "Tell me, Agent McCall. Did you solve EVERY case you had?" He didn't answer. "I'm sure people got in the way, conditions, information, missing hints. Sadly, not all cases in the world will end up being solved." Melissa squeezed my arm, reassuring me. "But that doesn't make someone incompetent. It makes him even more accountable because he could have given up as soon as a case got more complex, but he didn't." I took a breath. "Mr. Stilinski did, does, and will do so much for Beacon Hills. And I know you don't care about what other people may feel or say," I spat. "But Beacon Hills won't feel as safe if Noah Stilinski isn't the Sheriff."
"Scott, sweetheart. Calm down." Melissa walked closer to the boy, noticing his swallow breathes and his nails. "Come with me right now. Let it go. Just breathe and let it go." Both of them left the room, and I stayed back for a couple of seconds to glare at the sperm donor.
"Why do you stay when you don't have to but leave when you have to stay?" I asked just to receive a perplexed look. I shook my head, searching for the other two McCall's.
As I rounded the corner, I heard Melissa. "You told me you and Stiles learned a way to control this." She was trying to calm Scott. "You find an anchor, right? Find your anchor."
"My anchor was Allison." His fangs were out while his eyes were flashing. "I don't have Allison anymore."
"Then be your own anchor. You can do this." I walked closer to my brother, grasping his hand and breathing calmly so he could follow my pace. "Sweetheart, let me tell you something no teenager ever believes, but I swear to you is the absolute truth. You fall in love more than once. It'll happen again. And it'll be just as amazing and as extraordinary as the first time. And maybe just as painful. But it will happen again, I promise. And until then," She squeezed his arm. "Be your own anchor."
That night Scott and I went to Stiles's house, we went to the forest in search of the dead body. But we didn't find a dead body, we found an animal.
Problems seemed to invade us; the Tate case, anchors, and the fact that my father didn't even recognize me.

 Chapter 4 & Chapter 6
6:41, McCall House
Derek rushed to Scott and gripped his shoulders before pushing him against the wall of the back of the room in one swift movement, Y/N shrieking as he pulled her with him. Holding the teenager by the neck and pressed against the wall, Derek leaned in close and shook Y/Nâs arm slightly as she tried to get a way as best she could, knowing full well her strength would never compare to the werewolfâs.
âI saw you on the field,â hissed Derek and Scott, panicking, huffed heavily as he tried to catch his breath.
âWhat are you talking about?â wailed Scott.
Y/Nâs heart thumped against her ribs as she kept trying to pry her wrist out of Derekâs tightly closed fist. The man suddenly yelled and it made her whole body freeze, tension running through it at his words.
âYou shifted in front of them! If they find out what you are, they find out about me, about all of us-â he started but Y/N cut him off.
â-let us go! Stop!â she exclaimed, as she tried to kick him in the leg but he didnât even wince at the contact of her foot against the crook of his knee, his only reaction being twisting her wrist. She groaned and whimpered, her mouth ridden of any words she was planning to say.
âAnd then itâs not just the hunters after us, itâs everyone.â
Scott tried his best to exhale but to no avail, Derekâs thumb pressing against his windpipe.
âThey- didnât see anything, I swear!â he tried to convince his aggressor.
âAnd they wonât. Because if you even try to play in that game on Saturday,â he turned to look at a terrified yet clearly angry Y/N, âIâll kill her.â
After those terrorizing words slipped from his lips, Derek let go of both of the McCalls and jumped out of the window carelessly. Scott fell to the ground, wheezing. Y/N sat on the bed and tried to slow her rapid heartbeat, face flushed and eyes wide.
âHoly shit,â whispered Stiles and she sent him a glare through the webcam.
âHoly shit? Holy shit? Seriously? This is the guy that killed that girl in the woods? This is Derek Hale?â she exclaimed, furious with both her brother and the boy with his mouth left agape.
âIn the fleshâŠâ
âOh my god. What in godâs name did you get yourselves into?â she whined, letting her back fall onto the bed with a quiet thump.
âI think you already know the answer to that Y/N, otherwise you wouldnât be in this room right now.â
She immediately turned her head to the laptop and Stiles regretted his previous sentence. She got up and walked towards the computer, pointing slightly at the webcam.
âNo. You do not get to be a smartass right now Stiles. Iâm going to die because of you, dickheads!â She shot around to meet Scottâs eyes.
âAnd you. You are not playing on Saturday. I donât care what Allison says, what mom says, I donât give the slightest crap what Coach says. You are not even going to sit in the bleachers. Got it?â she said, seething.
âGot it,â answered a petrified Scott, still lying against the wall.
âGood. Now if youâll excuse me, Iâm going to take a shower. Try not to set the house on fire or conjure up a ghost while Iâm gone please.â And she walked out.
âI donât know whoâs more lethal, Derek or your sister.â
Friday, 12:34, Beacon Hills Indoor Cafeteria
A week had gone by since the incident in Scottâs bedroom. Classes were long and tiresome, homework was demanding and time-consuming. However, school was the least of her worries. Unfortunately, even a week hadnât been long enough for Derekâs traumatizing words to erase themselves from Y/Nâs memory, let alone for them to lose their importance in her mind. He was dangerous, that much was clear, and what was even more dangerous about the teenagersâ situation was the fact that they knew nothing about him. All she could think about as her teachers droned on about the concept of democracy and French irregular verbs was- wellâŠliterally everything.
Stiles had spent the whole week trying to listen in on the Sheriff departmentâs calls and he had even tried to log on his fatherâs computer. The password having unfortunately been changed, his plans had fallen through. He had also spent quite few hours bringing Y/N up to speed with everything that had happened since that fateful night when Scott got bitten. She thanked him, knowing however that the extra information hadnât given her the feel of peace she thought she would get, instead, it just made her even more anxious.
First of all, because now she knew just how positively dead they were, secondly, because this meant she had more to keep from Carrie. She felt terrible about Carrie being left in the dark about all of this. Truth be told, she wanted more than anything to come clean about her latest âadventuresâ, hell, even just to ask for advice. How was she supposed to deal with this alone?
âBut youâre not alone,â Stiles had told her after she had tried convincing him and her brother to give her permission to tell Carrie the truth. They didnât get it though. Obviously, they were in on this too, they knew what was going on and they had assured that she was a part of âWolfie Clubâ as Stiles had jokingly called it. But still, she felt alone. She needed her friend.
That kind of secret was a burden that her little shoulders just couldnât carry on her own. One could argue that she didnât have to listen to her brother and friend, but she was loyal and once promises had been spoken, they had to be kept. No point in discussing it any further.
So the fifteen year old girl sat in her seat at lunch that Friday ignoring Stiles and Scottâs banter, wondering to herself how on earth she was going to manage holding her tongue, helping them out and not imploding due to the giant ball of stress and fear growing in her abdomen, all at the same time.
â-right? Y/N?â
âWhat?â Y/N snapped out of her daze.
âYou agree with me right? We have to find the body. Well- the top part,â said Stiles, tripping over his words.
âIâm sorry, can we rewind?â she asked, rubbing at her forehead.
âStilesâ dad just installed a curfew. Heâs looking for the murderer-â said Scott until Stiles interrupted him hurriedly.
â-meanwhile we know who the killer is!â
âStiles, we canât just tell your dad what we know,â said Y/N.
âWhich is exactly why we need to look for proof so that we can get Derek arrested for his crimes and so we donât need to deal with his death threats anymore!â
Stiles leaned back in his seat and bit excessively at his apple, his anxiety obviously through the roof right then. Y/N felt bad for him. She had been so busy thinking about how this whole âthingâ affected her, not even taking a minute to realize the fact that her best friend was probably about to overdose on Adderall.
âWell, yeah, okay I agree but how? I mean itâs not like youâre the best sleuth in the world Sti, you canât even shut up for more than ten seconds, let alone sneak around in a house with a murderer slash werewolf hot on your trail.â
Stiles sniffed and bit his lip as he furiously tapped his knee against the edge of the cafeteria table. He turned to Scott who was picking at his pasta in silence.
âHey did you talk to Coach about tomorrow?â
âYeahâŠâ
âScottâŠare you or are you not playing tomorrow night?â questioned Y/N, feeling her heart beat a little faster by the minute.
âI- I donât know.â Stiles and Y/N scoffed and groaned but he threw his hands up in defense.
âYou donât understand! Allisonâs coming to the game, so is Mom! And Lydia said I had to play or sheâd introduce Allison to the other players.â
âLet her! Jesus, Scott! Youâre seriously picking your one week long girlfriend over your sisterâs life and safety?â
âAnd yours?â added Stiles, bewildered and annoyed.
âAnd the poor kidâs life?â hissed Y/N, noticing that people were starting to turn their heads in their direction.
âWhoâs?â
âThe kid whoâs gonna find himself at the wrong place at the wrong time and whoâs either going to die or bleed. A lot,â she said angrily.
âOkay, okay! Thereâs a lot on the line. I know that.â
Scott slumped back into his seat and closed his eyes. Stiles and Y/N shared a look and frowned.
âLook, weâre sorry about this. Okay? Itâs not fair. But you donât have a choice Scott.â
âSheâs right Scott. Iâm sorry.â
Scott looked down and sighed but nodded.
âGuess I should tell Allison then,â he said before pushing away his tray and sliding his arm in the strap of his backpack as he walked away.
Y/N sighed and mournfully looked at her club sandwich, still neatly placed in her paper plate. Stiles munched on a large piece of apple as he turned to her and stopped when he noticed her plate.
âHey, you havenât even touched that. Whatâs wrong?â
âWhatâs wrong? Really?â
He chuckled and tilted his head in agreement.
âOkay, maybe we are experiencing our fair share of problems right now but is that all this is?â
Y/N paused and looked down at her lap.
âIâve been a little distant from Carrie ever since this weekend.â
âWhy?â
âBecause I canât even look at her without wanting to spill everything about Scott. I mean, you guys are lucky. Youâve got each other, youâre a pair.â Stiles opened his mouth to speak but she cut him off before he could. âAnd- donât say thatâs not true because you know that it is. Â Sti, youâre my best friend and Scottâs my brother, but you guys are brothers as well.
âI can spend as much time with you two as I want, itâs never gonna change the fact that my relationship with you is different from your relationship with Scott. And itâs okay. I donât mind, I realized that a long time ago. But it means that youâre a pair and Iâm a single. I have Carrie, but I canât bring her into all of this.â
âYou canât be a pair,â said Stiles, nodding his head slowly.
âI canât be a pair.â Y/N bit her lip as he reached for her hand and cupped it with his own.
âIâm sorry that you canât tell her all about this, Blue. I really am. I wish you could. Maybe one day, Scottâll tell you heâs okay with it but for now, it does have to stay between us.â
âI know.â
âOkay.â
Y/N squeezed his hand and let go of it, reaching for her sandwich and digging in.
4:02, McCall House
After school, Y/N rode home on her bike and let it fall on the grass of the front lawn, too tired to prop it against the wall of the house. Walking up the stairs after having gotten a water bottle from the fridge, she took out her phone and tapped on the Messages app.
Y/N: hey Car i missed u this week. wanna hang this weekend? watch dumb romcoms and have pizza?
Y/N walked into her room and sat down on her bed, pulling off her little black boots from her sore feet as she yawned. This week had simply been exhausting. Suddenly, she heard her phone emit a ding and she turned it on in a flash hoping it would be Carrie.
Scott: I found something guys, both of you come to my room asap
Y/N didnât hesitate and went straight into Scottâs room, shutting the door behind her, a pang of disappointment floating around her stomach. She turned around and saw what Scott was doing.
âWhat happened to your lacrosse stick?â she gasped, rushing towards him and snatching it away from him.
âI went to see Derek,â he answered, looking at his stick, more precisely, at the torn net.
âWhy?â
âHeâs messing with Allison. I think heâs going to hurt her if we donât act fast.â
Y/N raised the stick and her eyebrow simultaneously at him.
âHe doesnât know you have replacement string, does he?â
âI think it was more so to prove a point.â
âAh.â
She sat on the floor next to his bed, looking up at him as he shifted over his covers.
âSo, what did-â
â-what did you find? How did you find it? Where did you find it? And, yes, Iâve had a lot of Adderall, so-,â Stiles said quickly and loudly as he entered running into Scottâs bedroom. He stopped, heaving and blinking his eyes a couple of times before trying to catch his breath.
âI found something at Derek Haleâs,â answered Scott.
âAre you kidding? What?â interrogated Stiles before turning to Y/N and taking a step back as though he hadnât seen her, âOh hey Y/N.â
âHi?â she replied, the corners of her mouth quirking up a bit at his hyperactive behavior.
âThereâs something buried thereâ I could smell blood,â Scott answered, screwing his nose up a bit.
âWait what?â
âThatâs awesome! I mean thatâs terrible. Whoâs blood?â
âI donât know. But when we do, your dad nails Derek for the murder. And then, you guys help me figure out a way to play lacrosse without changing. Because thereâs no way Iâm not playing that game.â Scott got up as Y/N nodded.
âSounds like a plan,â she said, pensively.
âWe need gloves, a night vision camera, binoculars-â
â-Stiles, weâre not the FBI,â laughed Scott.
âAnd besides, weâre not going to Derekâs. At least not right now,â Y/N said with an all-knowing look on her face.
âRrrright,â Stiles said, nodding, âwhere are we going then?â
âWeâre going to the hospital,â she answered the confused boy and Scott and him shared a look as she started explaining her plan.
5:16, Beacon Hills Hospital
Y/N walked into the main hall of the Beacon Hills hospital clutching her wrist with her other hand. After a few minutes of taking the elevator and finding her way, she treaded lightly to her right and peeked at the front desk on the second floor. Sure enough, her mom was there. Sliding her phone out from her back pocket, Y/N quickly typed in a message, hit send and put it away before walking towards Melissa who was busy answering calls.
âHey, mom,â she said, stepping right into her eyeshot. The nurse looked up and smiled.
âY/N, what are you doing here?â she asked warmly before getting up and making her way around the front desk.
âI hurt my wrist wrestling with Stiles- long story, and I canât move it much without it being really painful. Could you take a look at it?â she asked, praying she would say yes.
âWell, Iâm not really supposed to do consultations for patients without an actual doctor present,â Melissa said, wincing a little and Y/Nâs heart sank. âLetâs go.â
She beamed and kissed her mom on the cheek before following her into a patient room a few feet away, looking over her shoulder and winking.
âOkay, letâs do this,â said Stiles as he got her signal, motioning at Scott to go ahead. They both walked slowly in the direction of the front desk and Stiles turned to a certain door. He nodded.
âGood luck, I guess,â he said as Scott pushed the door open and slipped inside, the letters MORGUE written in bold white just a few centimeters away from an arrow pointing in the direction of where he had just gone.
Scott walked into an empty corridor and kept walking until he reached the morgue, a sign on the door signaling that this was where he needed to be. The teenager went inside and started opening the different metal doors, desperately trying to find what he was looking for and scared out of his mind. His heart thumped harshly against his ribcage and he couldnât help but start hyperventilating when he slid a tray out. On it lay a body covered with a white cloth. Well, technically, half a body.
âOh god, Y/N, why?â he asked under his breath as he grimaced and flipped the corners of the cloth off the cadaver. A strong scent of blood and slowly rotting flesh filled his nostrils as his eyes landed on the dirty and cold feet of the victim. He could barely stand the smell, it was just too strong and too foul, almost beastly. It was disgusting but Scott concentrated and his eyebrows raised when he recognized it.
Not even bothering to cover the bottom half of the body up again, he slid the tray back in, shut the metal door and ran out of the room, the terrifying image and the gruesome scent following him. When he got to the waiting room, his eyes fell on Stiles, seemingly busy reading what appeared to be a pamphlet on menstruation and he went to tell him he was done.
âHoly god!â exclaimed Stiles when Scott grabbed the pamphlet from his clampy hands.
âThe scent was the same.â
âYou sure?â asked Stiles as he got up.
âYes.â
âSo he did bury the other half of the body on his property.â
âWhich means we have proof he killed the girl,â Scott said, nodding his head.
âOkay we have to text Y/N, let her know the coast is clear. Letâs go.â
Y/Nâs phone emitted a ding and she suddenly shot up as her mom felt her arm and wrist.
âYou know what, mom, itâs getting better. Besides you have a lot of work to do so Iâm just gonna go.â Melissa looked at her and frowned, wondering why she was in such a sudden rush to leave.
âOkay, well, there doesnât seem to be anything wrong. If youâre still feeling sore, put some ice on it and it should get better from there.â
âGreat, thank you, I love you!â said Y/N hurriedly before pulling the door open and rushing out of the patient room, leaving her mom alone and puzzled.
âHuh.â
âSo, was it the same?â
âYeah, exactly that.â
âSo, the bodyâs what you were smelling! Thatâs good news, great even. We can finally get rid of him and get that girl justice,â said Y/N, grinning widely.
âOkay so what do we now?â Scott asked.
âWeâre going to Derekâs,â answered Stiles, determined. Y/N nodded.
âWeâre gonna need shovels,â she added and Stiles clicked his tongue in agreement. It made her quite happy to know that they were on the same page practically all the time, they rarely disagreed over important things and that gave her a sense of partnership and teamwork she simple loved.
11:56, Hale House, Woods
Derekâs black car gleamed in the moonlight as it drove away from the clearing where the Hale house stood. After a few minutes, a baby blue jeep took its previous spot and the ignition was turned off. The three teenagers left the car, slamming the doors shut behind them and they started to walk towards the house.
âIt was around here somewhere when I came earlier,â Scott said, gesturing at a spot a few feet away from the left side of the house.
âI low-key canât believe weâre about to dig out a human body,â said Y/N as she grabbed a shovel from her brotherâs hand and he nodded with a hum.
âItâs weird though, something feels different,â he said, contemplating the ground.
âDifferent how?â asked Stiles, stopping his first dig mid-movement.
âI donât know.â Scott walked closer towards the spot he had pointed at minutes earlier and pushed his shovel in the humid ground. âLetâs just get this over with.â
âAgreed. I am not spending one minute more than necessary here. Fucking creeps me out,â Y/N said, shuddering as she started digging on Scottâs right.
The three dug for a while, time slow and taunting as their arms felt heavier and their muscles ached. They didnât speak during that time, the only sounds besides the incessant scraping of the shovels in the dirt were their grunts and groans as they kept going. No one talked until finally, Scott paused to wipe his brow and spoke.
âThis is taking too long,â he said.
âJust keep going.â
âWhat if he comes back?â asked Y/N, stopping to properly look over at Stiles who was still going at it.
âThen we get the hell out of here,â Stiles answered.
âWhat if he catches us?â Scott questioned, his brows furrowed in confusion and anxiety.
Stiles shrugged and looked ahead but kept going, digging his shovel in the ground as deep as possible.
âI have a plan for that.â
âWhich is?â
He grunted and waved his shovel in the air, almost banging Y/N on the forehead with the metal object.
âYou run one way, Iâll run the other, so does Y/N. Whoever he catches first, too bad,â he said, shrugging before starting to dig again.
âI hate that plan,â whined Scott.
Y/N nodded with a neutral expression on her face after having given the so called âplanâ a thought.
âActually, I second it.â
âYou seriously think you could outrun Derek?â inquired her brother with a smirk as Stiles scoffed.
âI donât have to outrun Derek, I just have to outrun one of you.â
The three of them chuckled before Y/N spoke again.
âThis is really starting to bore the crap out o-â
â-alright stop, stop, stop!â exclaimed Stiles when he felt the edge of his shovel touch something a little harder than the humid soil beneath their feet. Y/Nâs breath hitched as both the boys let go of their shovels and bent down to start digging with their hands.
Their dirty fingers unraveled some string and they both looked at each other, puzzled.
âOkay just get whatever that is above ground, guys, heâll be back any minute now,â Y/N whispered, her heart beating faster and faster by the minute.
Sure, they had done some pretty cool and forbidden stuff before like when they hung out in the principalâs office when Scott and Stiles were in the 7thgrade at night or like that one time when they had hidden in the storage room of a comic book store downtown for hours before the manager had found them. Those times had definitely made their pulses raise, but they were nothing like what the teenagers were experiencing right then. This was some other level.
âIâm trying. Did he have to tie this thing in like, 900 knots?â said Stiles, hissing lightly as his long fingers desperately tried to untie the string.
âIâll do it.â Scott knelt further down to help him and sure enough, together, they managed. Opening up the package by pulling off the dirty material, their eyes fell upon a dead black dog.
Scratch that, it was too big to be a dog.
âOh my god!â yelled out Scott, jumping backwards and landing on his backside, groaning at the impact with the ground.
Y/N shrieked and looked away, covering her mouth and moving her legs in a squeamish fashion as though she were urgently in need of going to the bathroom. Stiles meanwhile gagged and fell back alongside his best friend all the while cursing.
âWhat the hell is that?â he exclaimed, gesturing towards the disgusting and morbid thingin the hole they had just dug up.
âItâs a wolf,â said Scott, staring at the dead animal with disgust yet curiosity.
âYeah I can see that!â
âCover it up, please, please cover it back up Scott!â Y/N whined, trying her best not to throw up due to the vile smell.
Scott shook his head just as he was about to tell her they had to inspect it but Stiles cut him off before he could even utter her name.
âI thought you said you smelled blood? As in human blood?â said Stiles, annoyed and confused all at once.
Y/N was completely bewildered by what they had just discovered. Why had Derek buried a wolf? Was it a werewolf? If so, had he been a member of the pack? Was it a she? Thousands of questions swam around her head and she almost felt woozy as she tried to focus on one.
âI told you something was different.â
âThis doesnât make sense,â said Stiles as he closed his eyes.
âWe gotta get out of here.â
âNo! We canât!â Y/N exclaimed, ignoring the rotten stench coming from the hole.
âWhy not?â asked Scott.
âBecause! Youâre not telling me youâre not even a little curious as to why this is here?â
âNo, honestly Blue, we have to go, like, now.Scott, help me cover this up.â
Y/N groaned as she shook her head, rolling her eyes before turning and gasping a little. Her gaze had rested on a flower, partially hidden in the earth, the deep purple petals barely visible through the humid soil.
âWhat is it?â inquired Scott as she started to walk away from them and towards the curious flora, almost hypnotized by its beauty. âY/N?â
Y/N ignored him and bringing two fingers down to the stem of the flower, she tugged lightly. Only the flower didnât detach itself from its roots. Instead, they left their earthy cage with it.
A long line of string followed and Y/N, perplexed, looked over at the teenage boys who were staring at the plant in her hand.
âWhat the-?â
â-Y/N, donât touch that!â
âUgh, itâs fine. I havenât turned to a big pool of green slime okay? Give the dad talk a rest.â
Stiles raised an eyebrow and she brushed it off, instead inspecting the flower. It really was mesmerizing. Tiny little light green leaves stuck out the side of it and it offered contrast with the purple color of the flower itself.
âWhat is so special about this flower?â Y/N asked herself. She felt drawn to it, but as to why? She had no clue.
âNot to interrupt your newfound passion for herbology but we really should go. If Derek finds us here, weâre dog food.â
Scott slapped Stilesâ chest with the back of his hand and glared at him.
âWell what? Dog food is more fitting than toast in this case.â
The glare didnât cease and Y/N snorted, looking away from them only to start inspecting the string attached to the plant in her hands.
âAgree to disagree.â
âHey guys?â
âWhat?â
Y/N slowly backed away from the place she had found the flower all the while staring at the tiny hole in the soil and treaded lightly. Their eyes widened as more and more string left the confines of the earth, leaving a concave trace on the ground but Y/N didnât stop. Her heart thumped in her chest and she kept going, walking behind Scott and Stiles then making a whole turn around them. And another, and another, and another one after that. Finally, the string came to an end and Y/N looked up, confused. She squinted her eyes at the traces left beneath her feet when Scott spoke up.
âLook,â he said, simply, staring at the grave they had just dug up.
Both Stiles and Y/N rushed over and what their eyes landed on sent a chill down their spines in a matter of seconds, Y/Nâs veins turning to ice.
The animal they had found was no longer a wolf, it was a woman. Her top half to be exact.
âOh shit!â screamed Y/N. âOkay thatâs it! Weâre out of here.â
âWe have to cover it up,â murmured Stiles, his stare not leaving the corpseâs void-filled eyes.
âYeah, letâs do that, but we have to move fast. Y/N, pass me the shovel!â
She did as she was told and hurried as she grabbed her own, immediately getting to it.
âDâyou know what this means?â
âWeâve got him by the tail,â answered Stiles.
âDude!â
Saturday, 4 pm, McCall House
Soft music played through the small orange speaker on Y/Nâs dresser as she absentmindedly tapped the end of her pencil on her desk, her tired eyes staring into an abyss while she tugged at her bottom lip with her fingers.
Her empty thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the sound of her phone ringing. Stilesâ name flashed on the screen as the Star Wars bar theme played and she frowned, picking it up swiftly and bringing it up to her ear to answer the call.
âStiles?â
âI lost Scott.â
âYou what?âshe exclaimed, jumping out of her seat, her whole body tensing.
âItâs not a big deal! But yes, I- uh- lost himâŠâ
âI canât believe you Stiles. Remind me never to leave you alone with my future kids.â
âHey, I will have you know that Mrs. Terry was very satisfied with my babysitting ski-â
â-yeah yeah, where are you right now?â
âWoods.â
âOkay, where did you lose him?â
âWoods.â
âDetails, Stiles!â
âI had the string with the purple flowers in my bag when we left Derekâs after my dad arrested him and Scott said he couldnât breathe so I ran out and threw the bag away and I turned around and he was gone! Poof!âexplained Stiles, breathlessly.
âPoof?âshe repeated, seething with anger.
âPoof?â
âIâm gonna kill you Stiles.â
âLook, Iâm gonna call him right now, okay? Just try calling the Sheriffâs department, they donât take me as seriously as they used to.â
âWhen did they ever?âshe said before hanging up and dialing 911.
âSheriffâs station, whatâs your emergency?â
âMaggie! Hey! Itâs Y/N, McCall?â
âDid you Stiles put you up to this?â
âNo! What? Just- itâs Scott, we canât find him-,â
âThe Sheriffâs departmentâs got too much on its plate to worry about your game of hide and seek Y/N, have a good day.â
âNo! Wai-â Y/N shrieked but it was too late, the deputy had hung up.
âGood thing I wasnât calling about a killer in my house,â she grumbled as she slipped into a dark blue pair of jeans and a grey tank top. She grabbed her maroon sweatshirt and her phone before hurrying out the door. She had to find her brother, before it was too late.
6:55 pm, Beacon Hills High School
Y/Nâs muscles ached as she sped on her bike, riding as fast as possible in the direction of the high school, the last place Scott could be at. She had ridden all around the town, scraping her knees and burning thousands of calories as she called out her brotherâs name, desperately trying to find him. She had been to Stilesâ house, she had gone to Deatonâs, Scottâs boss. She had called her mom to check if Scott was over at the hospital with her, she had been to the comic book store all the way across town. She had literally ridden every square inch of Beacon Hills but the school and she was sweaty, angry and exhausted.
Grumbling profanities and wiping at her brow, Y/N pulled into the parking lot of her school, shivering slightly due to the cool night air and she set down her bicycle, wasting no time to rush over to the lacrosse field.
âI swear you better be here, Scott,â she mumbled.
Sure enough, Stiles and Scott were there, standing next to their coach as he yelled out their strategy, making some of the players on the team groan and whine.
Y/N didnât even stop to think but instead rushed over to them and pushed Stiles aside.
âWhat the hell Stiles?â
âHey Y/N! Oh my god! Iâm so sorry, we just completely forg-â
â-you sent me on a wild goose hunt and didnât even bother to call me to tell me you had found him! What the hell is your problem?â
âIâm sorry, Blue.â
âYouâre sorry? Not good enough. My legs are sore and I am this close to crying from pure exhaustion Stiles.â
âY/N-â
â-Iâm not done talking! I swear to God, if your team doesnât win the game tonight, I will make it my personal mission to stuff your lacrosse jersey down your throat and do the same thing to Scott.â
âAre you done now?â
âYes,â she huffed, crossing her arms and exhaling as her shoulders untensed.
âAnd that is how you motivate a bunch of horny imbecile teenagers! Give it up for- Iâm sorry, whatâs your name, sweetheart?â
Y/N whirled around only to realize the entire team was staring at her, each and every one of the players utterly shocked and confused as to why she was on the field in the first place.
âY/N,â she answered, her cheeks reddening immediately. âGood talk,â she added before walking away with clenched fists, a bottomless pit forming in her stomach.
âOh god,â she muttered under her breath as she walked over to the bleachers and walked a little further up, seating herself right next to a tall and very pretty brunette.
âDo you know him?â asked the gorgeous girl, turning to her.
âIâm sorry?â
âDo you know that guy? Over there? Number eleven?ââ
âOh yeah, heâs my brother,â answered Y/N, coolly.
âYouâre Y/N?â she asked, a beam painted across her face, making her rosy cheeks wrinkle a bit.
âUh yeah, and youâre Allison?â
âScott told you about me?â
âSomething like that,â she said, smiling sheepishly. The fact was, ever since the truth had come out over Scottâs new powers, he hadnât shut up about his new girlfriend, Allison. Both Stiles and Y/N had been shocked and intrigued by the news, wondering how in Godâs name Scott had managed to score a date with her in the first place, much to his dismay.
âItâs nice to meet you, Y/N,â said Allison, extending her hand, timidly.
âNice to meet you, Allison,â said Y/N, smiling a little wider this time as she shook it.
Scottâs new girlfriend was extremely warm, her friendliness immensely agreeable. Y/N couldnât help but want to strike up a conversation but she stopped herself from saying anything, too afraid of scaring her away.
Y/N searched for some familiar faces and found her mother who was waving at Scott with a huge smile on her face. Of course she had come, it was his first big game. She sat on the first bench and set down her handbag. Y/N exhaled slowly. It was at that moment that a certain strawberry blonde seated next to Allison turned her head to her.
âItâs good that your brother chose to step up and play. I hope he makes this game worth our while.â
âI wouldnât worry too much about that,â Y/N muttered under her breath, looking over at the field.
Jackson was talking to the coach and Stiles had just sat down in front of the field, obviously looking in the same direction as her. Scott was standing next to the other players on his team and staring back at her. She couldnât really see his eyes but gripping the edge of the bench on which she was seated, she mouthed something to him.
âYou can do thisâ
Scott nodded and cracked his neck before placing himself in the right position. The ref blew the whistle. It was go-time.
The ball immediately filled the nets of the Beacon Hills players and for a while, everything seemed to be okay. But something was off. As the maroon players ran around the field, slowly approaching their opponentsâ goal, Scott trailed up behind.
âWhat is he doing?â she asked herself.
Then suddenly, number 10 found himself surrounded by two whites and he cowered, the ball flying out of his net and onto the grass a few feet away due to the force of the opposing teamâs defense. Scott whirled his head around, his wide eyes resting on the little white ball and he dove in, ready to catch it with his net. He ran but Jackson caught up with him and shoved him away, grabbing the ball and heading towards the ball.
âTheyâre keeping him from playing,â she muttered, her eyes fixated on the scene unfolding before the crowd.
Speaking of the crowd, an eruption of cheers echoed through the stands as Shitmore scored and a red digital 1 showed up on the scoreboard right under the letters HOME. Y/N shook her head and cursed under her breath.
âAsshole.â
Allison and Lydia both got up and held up a large banner with the words WE LUV U JACKSON as they whooped and Y/N rolled her eyes, focusing on the field. She tried to catch Scottâs eyes but he was staring at Jackson. Yep, he had probably seen the banner.
âThis isnât goodâŠâ
The team huddled up but the teenager stayed away, looking at them with anger seeping through his eyes. The whistle blew once, signaling the game was about to pick up again. Every player got into position, including Scott, and soon the ref blew his whistle again.
White and maroon jerseys ran towards the player with the ball in his net and he sprinted away aiming at his friend. Each person on the field was in motion, the cool breeze of the night blowing softly through their hair as they accelerated their swift movements, trying desperately to catch the ball with their long sticks. Groans and cheers, oohs and aahs and gasps escaped the mouths of the people in the stands and Y/Nâs muscles tensed as she heard Allison talk to Lydia.
âI hope heâs okay,â the beautiful brunette said, looking over at Scott who was hunching his back.
âI hope weâre okay,â said Lydia and Y/N almost snapped.
Standing up yet again, Lydia held up another banner, Jacksonâs name followed by a #1 drawn onto it with a sharpie. Y/Nâs eyes widened and her head snapped in Scottâs direction. He was going to be furious.
Sure enough, the young werewolf had seen it and cracking his neck again, he straightened his back and stood in front of the white player, both at the ready to catch the ball. The shrill sound of the whistle blew and Scott blocked his opponentâs attempt at taking the ball, sending it flying into the night sky.
He moved in a matter of seconds and took a leap, jumping over another player and catching the ball in his net, taking a run for it. The crowd erupted in cheers and Allison gasped, clapping furiously and beaming.
Scott kept going, avoiding the visitorsâ defense and pushing away his attackers, passing through a wall of players and shoving their shoulders with his own. Getting just close enough to score, he didnât hesitate and motioned his net to the ground, throwing the ball right into the opponentâs goal.
The entire stands jumped up, screaming his jersey number, and applauding his swift moves on the field as the players on his team rushed to him to clap their hands on his back.
Y/N squealed and yelled out his name as her eyes widened in pleasant shock.
Maybe it was all going to be okay in the end.
Stiles was cheering as well along with the other benched players and the teamâs coach started yelling out instructions to his players.
âPass to McCall! Pass the ball to McCall! Hey, that rhymes.â
The game resumed and Scott was on fire. He passed more players and scored more points, running from one goal to the next, blowing everyoneâs mind with his talent and athletic prowess. One opposing player even passed him the ball at one point, obviously terrified of him.
The end of the game was nearing, there were only a few seconds left on the clock. The stands were quiet for the first time in the whole duration of the game. Y/N exhaled, incredibly nervous. She glanced down at Stiles who was literally chewing on his gloves, his own eyes fixated on Scott.
The ball was sent to him and the teenager caught it with ease, making his way to the goal. But he stopped.
From afar, he seemed to be looking for a bee buzzing around him, his head turning and moving quickly and strangely. It was like he couldnât situate himself.
âScott,â murmured Y/N. âScott, focus.â
His ears perked up and he looked over at the stands only to see his sister and Allison were both muttering words of encouragement in his favor. He breathed heavily and straightened his back before looking ahead. The goalie seemed terrified, gripping his stick with terror.
Scott raised his arms and sent the ball flying towards the net. Time stopped. Then, the whistle blew for the last time.
Everyone screamed and cheered, waving their maroon banners in the air and chanting âMcCall!â over and over again.
âThatâs my kid! Thatâs my son!â exclaimed Melissa, gasping for air as she raised her fists in the air and arched her back.
Stiles ran towards the field and jumped up and down, screaming his head off and everyone followed. The game had been won. Scott had scored for his team, they had won! All thanks to him.
Y/N could barely believe it as she ran down the steps of the bleachers and onto the field to join the cheerful crowd. She joined Stiles and threw her arms around his neck, pulling him in a tight hug as they both laughed and whooped.
âOh my god! Scott?â called out Y/N, searching for her brother through the crowd.
âScott?â
Stiles and Y/N looked around but no trace of the young werewolf could be seen. Turning to each other, their faces turning white as sheets, they both ran off in the direction of the woods, calling out his name over and over again.
Y/Nâs heart was beating so fast, she could practically feel a dent in her skin above her ribs as she ran and yelled for him. Stiles grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the school, running as fast possible.
Rushing through the corridors, Stiles yanked Y/N into the boys locker room but pulled her back immediately.
âWhat are y-,â Y/N was about to ask when he cupped his hand over her mouth and pulled her a little further into the shadows of the dark room. Bringing a finger up to his mouth, he looked straight into her eyes and she shivered. They were pressed against each other, her body squeezed between her friend and the lockers. The moment was interrupted however when his gaze left her own and he peeked at the scene behind said lockers.
He let her go and straightened her tank top. She looked at him, puzzled.
That was when Allison walked towards them and blushed, her lips a little redder than they had been at the game and her hair untidy.
âHey, Stiles, Y/N,â she said, smiling timidly as she passed them and left the room, the sound of her boots resonating in the hall as she left the perimeter.
Both Stiles and Y/N made their way around the lockers only to find Scott. He looked proud and a goofy smile was plastered on his face as he waved at them, sheepishly.
âHey.â
Y/N shook her head and laughed, squeezing her eyes shut.
âOh thank God,â she said.
âI kissed her.â
âWe saw.â Stiles smiled all-knowingly at his best friend.
âShe kissed me.â
âSaw that too.â
âItâs pretty good huh?â
Scott couldnât stop grinning as Stiles patted him on the back and Y/Nâs lips curled into a smile.
Scottâs eyes suddenly widened and he smiled even wider.
âI-I donât know how, but I controlled it. I pulled it back! Maybe I can do this, maybe itâs not that bad!â he exclaimed.
âUh, yeah, about that.â
âWhat, what is it?â asked Scott, his eyes turning to his sister.
âThe, uh, medical examiner looked at the other half of the body we found,â explained Stiles, his face turning a little dark.
âAnd?â
âHe determined that the victimâs killer was an animal, not a humanâŠâ
âWhich means, what?â
âDerek is not an animal.â
âYes?â
âLet me keep it simple, Scott. Derek not animal. Derek thus, not killer. Derek let out of jail,â said Y/N, exasperated.
âAre you kidding?â exclaimed Scott, fear flashing through his eyes.
âNo, and hereâs the bigger kick in the ass.â
âThe victim was IDâd. Her name is Laura Hale.â
âDerekâs sisterâŠâ
Scott gasped and shook his head.
âThis canât be happening!â
The three of them stared at the floor when Y/N spoke up.
âBut you kissed Allison!â

Oh god, that's just. Like Cora not really being Derek's sister and being a part of the Alpha Pack makes a lot more sense than what the show actually gave us, but that is honestly just a heartbreaking thought. Like, Derek in s1 & s2 with no family left except for Peter is awful, but imagining him thinking that he got someone back only for him to find out none of the memories are even real is just. 3 I can't even think about the look on his face when Stiles figures it out and tells him.
Itâs such a completely crushing thought but itâs also so good that Iâm kind of obsessed with the idea now.
For those just coming in, this is in regards to an alt!meta theory about TW 3A, wondering what if Cora hadnât been Derekâs sister, but a member of the Alpha pack? What if Derekâs memories had been twisted by Deucalion at some point, so they could use Cora to infiltrate his pack?
And this makes sense for a lot of reasons. First off, weâre never given a clear answer as to how Cora would have escaped the fire, while no one else in her family had, and how she would have ended up in South America, of all places. Why would a scared eleven year old possibly end up there? Thatâs the kind of thing that just almost sounds like a lie, like theyâd just picked somewhere super far away so Derek wouldnât question why theyâd never run across or heard from each other until now. And this would also solve the discontinuity caused by Coraâs survival vs the number of bodies found after the fire. They knew how many people died, how many bodies were recovered. If there had been one fewer body than there was supposed to be, wouldnât Derek and Laura have looked for the survivor?
But they didnât, because there wasnât one.
But I have another question for you all: did Cora Hale even exist? Because, despite the fact that Cora was supposedly the same age as the rest of the teens, I donât recall any hint of recognition or familiarity from any of them throughout 3A. Cora would have been eleven years old, in approximately fifth grade, when she died. Thatâs five years (or six, counting kindergarten) that she would have been in the same school, the same grade, some of the same classes, as Stiles, Scott, Lydia, Boyd, and Isaac, and while that doesnât guarantee that she would have been friends with any of them, I would expect some hint of recognition from some of them. But we got nothing.
So, was there ever a Cora Hale? And if there wasnât, if she was just a random stranger recruited by the Alpha pack, it would still crush Derek to lose that idea of family when the truth came out, but it wouldnât be as devastating as thinking he had a sibling back only to realize sheâd been dead all along.
But Iâm going to take this further. Because why would a random beta decide to do any of this? To risk her life to infiltrate the Hale pack for the Alphas; a group sheâs not even technically a part of since sheâs still a beta, herself? What would she be getting out of it?
Her life, maybe? If she was threatened into it? Or maybe she was bribed? But⊠thereâd always be the risk that Derek (and Peter, etc) would sense her dishonesty, or that she would turn on the Alphas/ask the Hales for help⊠and, really, why trust her to play a role for you when you can just⊠make her believe it, herself?
So imagine the Alphas taking a random beta ââ maybe a stray omega they happen across, or maybe they let one member of their former packs live ââ and incept her into believing sheâs the fictional Cora Hale? Make her everything they need her to be to be the perfect spy, completely unaware of the fact that sheâs not who she thinks she is? And theyâd set it up so every few days sheâd go out on a run and find herself standing in front of the Alpha compound, where theyâd pull whatever information she would have gained about Derek and Scott, and then go back to the loft again, none the wiser.
So then the season ends, the Alpha pack is defeated, and the false memories start to chip away for both Derek and Cora⊠but they still feel like theyâre family. They still feel irrationally protective of each other, still remember flashes of growing up together and even though they know itâs not real⊠itâs still a part of them now. And itâs the closest thing to family either one of them has.

Stiles who fallen asleep on your table nose deep on your open the book, pulling the blanket closer to your chest you sigh last nightâs memories rushes into your mind, still fully not understanding how you were able to pull it off is beyond you.
Lost in thought you miss stiles awaking with a yawn his eyes fall on your forlorn face he sits up suddenly making you startled as well.
âThank God, youâre awake.â He stands dragging the chair close to your bed run his hands down his face. âyouâre officially starting to make me age faster. Do you even know what you did, what made you think its okey to go head on with Gered, dude look like he Voldemort with nose do you know how unsettling that is, a part time manipulative grandpa and a full-time psycho.â
âStilesâ
âYou canât go around saving everyone, its reckless. you couldâve been hurt things couldâve gone south really quick. The werewolf couldâve hurt you or Argents, something tells me heâs way worse than Kate. Thatâs something itself we should be worried abou- â
âStiles!â Â Â
His chest rises and falls with heavy breathes before he steadies himself. The flatness in your voice makes his worry deepen. He sits beside you, hesitating for a moment before laying down. âTell me whatâs going on.â He brushes his finger over your temple, his voice softening.
âI honestly donât know, stiles. Itâs like I am trapped in with these thoughts and worries and I canât break free.â You curl yourself clutching the blanket closer to you. âI donât know whatâs real or notâ
âIt feels like if I let anyone near me die, I might start lose all of you one by one. I couldnât let him die, not if I can help.â
Stiles exhales âYou canât save everyone, and you trying endlessly can will take a toll on you. We donât know what weâre signing up for. Â And I donât wanna lose you in those processes at all.â
Your eyes glance up at his âIâŠ. that nightâŠI was terrified out of my mind. I still remember how it felt; your blood soaking into my skin. How cold your skin was becoming. I was even thinking if I made mistake by not letting derek help youâŠ. but I knew you donât want to become thatâŠbut each passing second, I thought maybe I fucked it upâŠthat no hospital couldnât save youâŠ...I never felt more helpless it was justâŠ. like with mom. I donât want to feel like that ever again.â He places your hand on his chest right under his heart âand this is real, and Iâm staying with youâ
By the time he confessed both of your eyes had tears, you wrapped your arms around his frame muttering apologies after apologies. Both of your clothes soaked with your tears but the cry  was very much needed.
Scott waits at the front entrance for you and stiles; he stands straight when he catches the scent of you and stiles his eyes scan the area and finds his friends. He lips turns into a frown seeing you so detached of your surrounding not bickering with stiles as usual as you. stiles walking beside you silent.
Scott doesnât wait he walks towards you only when he stands directly Infront of you, you snap back to reality but thatâs with a startled look on your face making the two eyes turns round with softness and worry shining through their lashes.
âHey!â you exclaim at scott âStiles filled me in what happened after I blacked out. Is that guy really gone?â
Scott walks with you on your other side nodding âYeah, derek think its better for all of us especially you.â he said with a smile you hum in disbelief.
Stiles roll his eyes scoffs âfinally something I can agree onâ
âDid he tell you whatâs his plan for the full moon?â you rub your temple feeling your head pound. Your hands ruffle inside your pocket but doesnât find what you looking for making you sigh.
Scott and stiles glance at each other over your head âNo, he said I can actually have some control over myself other self-better.â
You frown âThatâs suspicious.â You muttered while stiles give scott a blank face clearly showing he doesnât believe in scott sudden self-control. Â
âI'm serious! It's not like the last full moon. I don't feel the same.â Scott argues walking beside you while stiles on your other side his hand thrown across your shoulder
Stiles huff skeptically âOh, does that include the urge to maim and kill people like us.?â
âI swear, I don't have the urge to maim and kill you.â he pleads gesturing you take his side.
âheâs rightâŠâ before you can say stiles shut you with his hands over your mouth.
âShh youâre on time out.â Stiles says you shrug looking at scott who roll his eyes at the two of you.
âYou know, you say that now, but then the full moon goes up, and come the fangs, and the claws, and there's a lot of howling and screaming and running everywhere, okay? And it's very stressful on me, and so yes, I'm still locking you up.â Stiles pulls you into guys locker room before you can run away âNo Missy youâre not leaving my sight.â
Scott sighing lean against their locker âOkay, fine. But I do think I'm more in control now, especially since things are good with Allison.â
Stiles looks irritably at him âOkay, I'm aware of how good things are with Allison.â
âThey're really good.â Scott smiles wide making you groan stiles cover your eyes making you puzzled
â-- Thank you, we know.â stiles say exasperatedly.
âI mean, like, really good...â
âAll right, I get it! Just please, shut the hell up before I have the urge to maim and kill myself.â
âAll right. Did you get something better than handcuffs this time?â
âYeah-- much better.â Stiles let go of you he grins at the two of you proud to show what he has in his sleeves or in this case his locker. He opens the door and chain starts to fall out loud and clunky heavy metal chain. Everyone around turns to the three of you while you stand horrified in place.
The coach who was inside his room came out beyond stunned looking at two of you all hope lost in his eyes defeated â...Part of me wants to ask... the other part says knowing will be more disturbing than anything I could ever imagine. So, I'm gonna walk away.â
âThat's good. That's a wise choice, Coachâ stiles say
The coach stops and turns looking at you three âGod, I hope you losers donât drag her into whatever this is.â with that he walks away.
Danny who is sitting on bench gives you a look you vigorously shake your head you hit stiles on his shoulder making him wince before crouching down to pick the chain and your dignity or what left of.
âYou, okay?â you ask seeing scott glance around panicked and alert
âScott?â
âThere's another... In here, right now...â
 âAnother what?â stiles ask
âAnother Werewolf.â
âOther than jackson?â you wondered glancing around Scott nod stiles and you sigh âDerekâ the two of you say in sync.
âStop doing that.â
You sigh exasperated âNo wonder he doesnât want you help you right now, he got his own puppies.â
You turn to stiles grossed out where his thought went at your words âthatâs concerning even by our standard. Stop it stiles.â He shrugs.
âYou put that image in my head with your wordsâ stiles snark your lips curl in annoyance.
âStop thinking so out loud, the last thing I want to imagine derek in thatâŠâŠ. process.â You shudder at the image stiles conjured in his mind.
The three of you sit down at the bench âIt was kind of like a scent, but I couldn't tell who it was.â
âWhy canât we ask Just ask derek, its not like heâs not keeping it secret from usâ you wonder out loud making stiles scoff.
âI donât know why you give that sour wolf your timeâ he turns to scott âWhat if you can get him one-on-one? Would that help?â
Scott looks at his friends nodding âYeah...â
âOkay. I think I got an idea.â stiles stands and rush after coach leaving the two of you sitting.
You turn to scott âDid something happen between derek and stiles? He seems more hostile towards him?â
Scott shift in his seat âNo...?â his puppy eyes on as nervously gaze into your sharp ones.
âScott?â
âDid you texted me Jackson having trouble with his transformationâ scott asked suddenly his eyes finding the said boy sitting across few feet away from two of you.
âYeah, something about Derek not knowing shit about something, but thatâs so unusual right?â you ponder âI mean heâs all like Iâm the alpha and all which I find very outdated and cringe but he pulled it off surprisinglyâ
Scott nod to your words âif derek doesnât want anything to do with jackson then it might be something serious. Did jackson said anything else?â
âNo, just that he needs my help.â You glance at jackson seeing him talking with Evil matt [stiles named him]. âI just sort of brushed it off now I feel bad.â Jackson glance at you along with matt who turned to see who is jackson is looking at.
You sigh turns to scott âHeâs also just like you.â
Scott wraps his arms around you bringing you to a hug âits okey, we will help him if he wants to be helped.â
Stiles comes back barreling on to you âI told Coach you're switching with Danny for the day.â
âBut I hate playing goal.â He pouts stiles looks at you with exhausted look on his face
âRemember when I said I had an idea?.......This is the idea.â
âOh.â
âThere we go.â You say smiling proudly at scott as he grasped what stiles did with equal smile on his face. But your smile gets wiped at his next question
âWhat's the idea?â
Stiles exasperatedly âI seriously don't understand how you survive without me sometimes.â He pulls scott of the seat while you get comfortable pulling out your phone to record. Â
âThis going to fun.â
you donât know if youâre proud or embarrassed of your friends there is no in between its either one or another. Scott tackles the second person on the ground and sniff him up making the coach yell at him again. Coach even goes to stiles for answer; you zoom in the screen when he slammed danny to the ground. Danny comes and sits down next you shaking his head at you as you enjoy the scene in front of you.
âYou alright?â
Danny nod âYeah, you having fun?â
âA lot of fun.â
Jackson walks towards the two of you sitting down next to you, he takes off his gears looking pale he turns to you âCan you come by my house tomorrow morning?â
You lower your phone turning to him âYeah.â You give him a reassuring smile fiddle around your bag Danny calls your name.
âStiles is pointing at you.â you left your head up hands still in your bag and take out a piece of candy and hand it to Jackson who looks at it puzzled but takes it.
You frown seeing stiles points at Issac in front him vigorously you slowly stand-up feeling Scott defensive stands as they crash into each other but lands safely. Across form the field Noah and cops come marching.
âHis father's dead. They think he was murdered.â Scott said attentively sparing glance at you and where Stileâs dad and Issac stands along other cops and coach.
âHe didnât do it.â
Stiles wrap his arms across your shoulder âAre they saying he's a suspect?â
âI'm not sure. Why?â scott glance at you seeing you still looking worried as Stileâs dad takes Issac away. Issac glance back at you with hurt look on his face his eyes pleading for understanding.
âBecause they can lock him in a holding cell for twenty-four hours...â
âLike, overnight?â Â
âDuring the full moon.â
âHow good are these holding cells at holding people?â
âPeople? Good. Werewolves? Probably not that good.â Stiles grimly says.
âStiles, remember when I said I don't have the urge to maim and kill?â
âYeah...â
âHe does.â
You run your hands through your hair exhaling sharply breaking off from stiles hold feeling your head spinning.
Stiles and scott watches you leave without saying anything âShe is not okey right?â
âDefiantly notâ stiles sighs âI read something interesting text about her power actually and we really need to do some digging.â He adds as they walk to the locker room.
âWhat did you find?â
âitâs a lot, an hour isnât enough.â
They walk into the classroom frowning when they didnât see you in your usual seat shrugging stiles takes out his phone sending quick text to come to the class. scott and stiles settle in their seat at the front row.
âWhy would Derek choose Isaac?â scott mumbled
âPeter told me that if the bite doesn't turn you, it could kill you... And maybe teenagers have a better chance at surviving?â
âDoesn't being a teenager mean your dad can't hold him?â
âWell, not unless they have solid evidence... Or a witness...â stiles trailed off then utter your name. he turns to danny behind him âWait-- Danny, where's Jackson?â
âIn the principal's office, talking to your dad. She is with themâ danny points at your empty seat.Â
âWhat? Why jackson?â
âMaybe because he lives across the street from Isaac?â Danny answers condescendingly
â...Witness.â
âWe gotta get to the principal's office.â
âHow?â stiles grinned at scottâs question
âEveryone, please turn to page seventy-three.â The teacher Harris instruct writing on the back when a roll of paper hits on his head making the whole class laugh âWho in the hell did that?â
Stile and scott points at each other.Â
OUTSIDE PRINCIPAL OFFICE
âListen to me-- you're telling me that you knew Isaac's father was hitting him?â Stilinski recount looking at Issac who sits next to you cooly his arms thrown over the sofa behind you, arrogance radiating from his nonchalance façade. Gerard sits with other cop watching the two of you, his eyes trained on your every movement seeing him after what he did doesnât scare you as you thought it would it just makes you annoyed that you have to spend few minutes around him.
âHitting him? He was kicking the crap out of him.â jackson scoffed, you rethink helping him crossing your arm across your chest.
âDid you ever say anything to anyone? A teacher? Parents? Anyone?â
Jackson shrugging âNope. It's not my problem.â
âNo. No, of course not. You know, it's funny that the kids getting beaten up are always the ones who least deserve it.â you snicker at Noahâs sarcastic jab. Father like son, son like father.
âYeah ...Wait, what?â he looks between the two of you.
Noah turns to you âAnd you, did you know about anything this?â
âNot reallyâŠ...â you sigh looking up at him âI had my suspicion but I didnât want to make any assumptions.â
Noah nods with soft look on his face he can see the guilt in your voice âitâs not your fault kid.â He said softly Jackson frown at the shift scoffing internally.
Noah notes that Issac hadnât talked about you to his dad.
âHow was he when the last time you saw him?â
âHe was sweet but upset about chem resultâŠ...no he almost seemed sacred.â You feel your head spin âBut I donât think he would have done it.â
Noah stands straight âWe will find the truth, why donât you go home. Iâll ask the principle for you.â
âCoolâ Jackson says
Noah shakes his head âNot for you.â jackson scoff before leaving casting you a final glance. âCome on. Iâll drop you off.â
You, Noah and the cop walks out the office and you are not surprised to see scott and stiles in chair clearly there to spy. Stiles fumble around the seat taking out a magazine hastily hiding his face Noah sighs.
âHi, scott.â
âH-- yeah...â scott mumble back weakly glancing at you and Noah but Noah walks off you rip the magazine off stiles hand startling him. you follow Noah with laugh stiles and scott stands to follow you but Gerard come out and Noah calls you, the three of you nod silently exchanging promise to let each notified.Â
You sit on the passenger seat looking outside the window Noah spare you glances from time to time.
âWhat is on your mind kid?â his didnât held the authoritative one like before but its more of soft tentative voice.
âHow can a parent hurt their own child?â you ask with blank look on your face Noahâs lip set in grime line.
You sit straight âI never understood how a parent can abuse their child; I just donât get it. I get that people are unpredictable and this is not just single incident. Itâs not just Issac situation but whenever I hear something like thatâŠ. itâs so confusing for me why would you hurt an innocent kid to point they become shell of what they used to be. I just donât understand.â  You rub your temple, chest heaving as you said each word Noahâs stop the car pulling over to side.
He calls your name making you stop talking âIâŠ. honestly, I donât have the answer to your question kid, I still wounder the same thing and I been in this profession longer than how old you are right now. But Iâll tell you this the kids never the one to blame, people are more twisted than we they are. Hurt people hurt people, abused people abuse. The why in each still mystery to me just like it is you. what we found in the houseâŠâŠ. Issac didnât deserve what happened to him, no one does and itâs not his fault it would be never his even if he thinks that. And youâre not at fault not realizing whatâs happening to him.â
âThere were signs and I ignored itâ you feel tears lining up your water line. Noah takes your hands in his squeezing it.
âAnd I saw it too but I didnât look into it. itâs not your fault kid.â He reassured voice warm and clam. âLetâs get you home.â
Noah drops you off at grams house, you sit at the steps phone in your hands you got text saying stiles is stuck at detention.
A thought suddenly came into your mind you take off running yelling at grams you will be right back.
After hearing Peterâs revelations about Vicki Donovanâs death and the growing supernatural conflicts, you confronts him about his hatred toward the Argent, urging him to avoid unnecessary bloodshed. You later meets with Chris Argent, who apologizes for his family's actions, and Derek, who remains wary of your association with the hunters. As tensions rise, you confesses to Derek that Peter has been haunting your mind, using you as a means to return to life. also reveals the tormenting visions you has been experiencing, feeling lost in their pain. Derek, though unsure how to comfort you, realizes the depth of what you going through and tries to understand.
Bonnie knew something unusual is going on with her, since sheâs been having this really terrifying dreams about her ancestor Emily. She concluded that she was being haunted; that's what happens when you take anything thatâs remotely valuable to dead person, in her case the damned necklace.
Everything seems to go downfall since she got the necklace and how the hell did, she ended up on the old church ruins? she still doesnât know. but she knows the right thing to do is go to grams house and tell you and her what happened and to make any sense of it.
But is that what she gonna do? No. you just got back from your death bed in her words and she doesnât want you to be worried about whatâs going on with her. So, she went to Elena which led into meeting damon and the fact that he knows about Emily shouldnât surprise her as much it did. She knows how you warned about him and how you hellbent on wanting bonnie to stay out the way of the Salvatore brothers all together.
And then it a little argument with her friends broke out and the solution was to conduct a seances which bonnie thought might be a really bad idea why is that, because you once said if there is one thing that you wonât do is that âfuck with Ouija board or type of that shit without proper knowledge itâs gonna come possess your assâ and thatâs what exactly happened.
Damon finds Bonnie in the ruins of the old church, setting up a spell. âHello Emily. You look different.â
Bonnie whoâs now become a meat puppet of her ancestor Emily says âI won't let you do it.â
âWe had a deal.â
âThings are different now. I need to protect my family.â She stated standing tall and determined
âI protected your family. You owe me.â He did a crappy job honestly.
âI know. I'm sorry.â
ââ Youâre about to be a lot more than that.â
Damon tries to attack her, but Emily uses her powers to throw Damon against a tree, and he's impaled on a branch through his stomach.
Fell's Church
Stefan and Elena arrive at the church ruins. Stefan pulls Damon off of the tree branch. âIt hurts. This is why I feed on people.â
 âStefan.â Emily calls
âHello, Emily.â
âThese people don't deserve this. They should never have to know such evil.â Her voice held worries.
 âWhat do you mean evil?â
Damon glares at her âEmily. I swear to God; I'll make you regret this.â
âI won't let you unleash them into this world.â
âThem? What part of the story did you leave out, Damon?â
âWhat does it matter?â
âEmily, tell me what you did.â Stefan asks though he already knew the answer to the question.
âTo save her, I had to save them.â
âYou saved everyone in the church?â
âWith one, comes all.â
âI don't care about them. I just want Katherine.â
Stefan turns to Damon âI knew I shouldn't have believed a single word that comes out of your mouth. This isn't about love, is it? This is about revenge.â
âThe two aren't mutually exclusive.â
âDamon, you can't do this.â
âWhy not? They killed 27 people, and they called it a war battle. They deserve whatever they get.â
â27 vampires, Damon. They were vampires. You can't just bring them back.â
âThis town deserves this.â
âYou're blaming innocent people for something that happened 145 years ago.â
âThere is nothing innocent about these people, and don't think for a second it won't happen again. They already know too much, and they'll burn your little grandwitch right next to us when they find out. Trust me.â
âThings are different now.â Emily says
 âDon't do this.â
âI can't free them. I won't. chants Incendia!â she chants
The pentagram Emily carved into the dirt around her is set ablaze, and flames create a wall between Emily/Bonnie and Stefan, Damon and Elena.
âNo! No please.â
âBonnie!
 âNo!â
Bonnie/Emily throws the necklace into the air, and it explodes above them. Once the spell is complete and the crystal is destroyed, Emily departs from Bonnie's body. Bonnie finally reawakens, and looks around in horror, having no idea what had just occurred. Damon is furious, and since his deal with Emily is off, filed with anger he speeds towards her he bites Bonnie and feeds on her. Elena yells in fear, and Stefan rushes over to pull Damon off of her. He kneels next to her and checks her pulse.
âShe's alive, but barely. I can save her.â Stefan says. He bites into his wrist and dribbles his blood into Bonnie's mouth. Elena watches in shock as her wound closes up right before her eyes.
MEAN WHILE AT THE HALE HOUSE
Stiles right after their class ends call your phone imagine his shock when Derek pick up the phone saying you are at his place and hung without any further convo. Glaring at the phone stiles steps on the gas scott beside him hold on to door yelling stiles name.
When the two of the reach the Hale house the anger turns into confusion as they taken the large new house standing tall.
âDid we shift reality or something? This does not look like Derekâs home.â Stiles mutters.
Scott frown as well his confused puppy dog eyes on full display âYeah, Iâm lost too. It looks a normal home.â
Stiles nods âYeah, nothing thatâs screams derek.â He walks closer the surrounding looks lively as well how did all this happened overnight.
The door open, derek steps out with a neutral look on his face stiles face starts to become red, hurriedly he marches towards him.
âWhere the hell is she? What did you do now? Why is she here?â stiles fires question after question standing foot to foot with the man.
Scott beside him follow him up slightly pulling him back, derek sigh annoyedly at the teenager âKeep your voice down, sheâs upstairsâ
Stiles tries to push past him but derek pull him back by his collar making him jerk backwards splaying around to push derek off him.
âWould you just clam down, sheâs asleep.â
âShe can sleep in my home, not your dusty house.â Stiles hiss at derek.Â
Scott untangles them both before standing in between them âCan we just all clam down.â He glances at derek âYou have explaining to do, whatâs going on.?â
Opening the door wide he answers âIâll tell you.â
He walks towards the hall room motioning them to sit down, scott forcefully sits stiles down keeping a hand on him.
Derek sits down across them âShe did it.â he looks around the house, stiles and scott eyes widen they finally look around the beautiful house. Scott reaches forwards touch the table and plate of fruits he brings an apple to his nose smiling it, its sweet. Stiles fingers trace comfy cushion its smooth and silky.
âBut thatâs not important?â
Stiles lets humorless laugh âAre you kidding? this is whole new level of power.!â
Scott frown comes back his brow furrowing at serious look on Derekâs face âSomething is going with her, inside her mind.â
âWhat?â stiles and scott asks at the same time.
Derek leans closer putting his hands on his thighs âShe said sheâs being haunted by Peter; he wants her to bring him back to life.â
Stiles gulps glancing at his friend nervously âit canât be true right?â
Scott nods along unable to make any sense âYeah, I mean she just almost died it might have taken mental toll on her.â
âI thought that too, but I saw him.â
âHow is that even possible?â stiles ask.
âThe night at school, peter had his claws deep in her. he must have already known something will happen to him; I think he might have anchored himself on to her.â derek answers in all seriousness.
âShould we call an exorcistâ stiles blurred out derek close his eyes exhaling he turns to them.
âIts not work like that, and thatâs not just it.â
âThere is more?â stiles high-pitched voice vibrates around the house.
Conjuring his all his patience derek sit straight âShe said she was having these dreams of a women every time she sleeps, her screams. Something about if she doesnât change anything how everyone around her will die. That she need bring back Peter so she could learn, I donât know what he did but she believes he can help her and she kept saying how her grams going to die that she canât become like the women she saw in her dreamsâŠ. but what still unbelievable to me is thatâŠ. she said the women she saw is herâŠâŠbut from another universe.â
âA whole another universe?â scott sits astonished at the information.
Stiles mouth hang opens processing it all âWait, why would she say all this you.â he glances at you âI mean why would she hide this from us.â
Derek glance at them âWell she didnât actually didnât tell me; she lost her composure it. she was sobbing and ranting.â
Stiles sits up âI should check on her.â this time derek and scott doesnât stop him, stiles take two steps at one time entering the room he sighs at the sight of sleeping peacefully. He wants to scold you holding it all until you broke down also beating himself up for being caught up everything around thatâs he missed your subtle signs of distress he knows how you still find it hard to open up even after everything you three been gone through together. He hates that you still havenât learn to be fully open with them, the fear of being a burden but he also knows not push you.
He frowns when your face twisted into confusion and fear, like youâre in some sort of nightmare hurrying towards you he shakes you awake making you jolt awake, rushed footsteps can be heard stiles yell your name to wake, lifting you up slightly of the bed you open your eyes with a panicked expression.
âBonnie?!â you mumble making stiles further confused scott and derek stands beside him, you stumbled out the bed repeating her name.
Stiles holds on to your shoulders stabling you âBonnieâŠ. we have to...go.â you try to walk but stiles pull you back.
âWait! hold on, whatâs going on?â
You wrench yourself from his hold only for to scott to take hold of you âClam down, first.â
âNo, sheâs hurt.â You shake your head your eyes dazed âWe have to goâŠshe needs me.â
you try to push scott off your stiles comes into your vision âOkey, okey⊠We will go.â
Stiles takes your hands nodding at scott, scott leads you out the house stiles run to his jeep starting it as scott helps you inside. Derek stands on the porch before following you. you tell stiles to go to church ruins stepping on the gas he speeds when you reach there just then you hear bonnie screams and cries of fear running towards the sources you see bonnie on the ground, elena and Stefan crouch down next to bonnie.
âBonnie!â
Stefan and elena gets thrown away from her a red mist throwing them away, making them grunt. You kneel down next to her taking her into your lap you call her name she has you can feel her blood on your hands you shift her head to side you see a bite mark closing up, your breath gets rapid shaking her awake.
She opens her eyes she cries out of confusion and pain making your tears fall as well, âIts okey, youâre alright.â
âDamonâŠ...heâŠbite me. Whatâs going on?â she choked out.
Stiles and scott and derek glance at damon who now waking up Stefan helps elena to stands they both tense still shocked at sudden attack.
You can feel your anger rising inside you, helping bonnie sit up you reassure her âIts alright now, he wonât hurt you now.â
âAre you alright?â you wipe the blood off of her neck the wound is now fully healed, taking her hand in yours she glances around her eyes falling on Elena and Stefan Elena steps closer with Stefan on her toe but stops when you stare down at them.
âYeah, elena whatâs going on? I would really like know what the hell you all doing?â
Elena gulps before nodding and recounting what went down, you sit bonnie down on fallen stone wall.
You run your hands down your face after hearing what went down from the demonic possession to damon trying to kill bonnie, that not just making you anxious itâs the church ruins, the place you saw in your dreamsâŠ.. just nothing good came out that, this is where Grams and bonnie would help the Salvatore brothers to open the tomb which leads to gramsâŠdeath.
âNo, you listen to me.â You cut off bonnie before she can get a word out âYou could have died or worse she could take your body over wear as meat suit for however long she wished to.â
Scott and stiles stand on the side with derek while derek might new to the furious version of you they were familiar with it but that doesnât mean they are not worried but they know itâs not wise to intervene.
Elena warily shits taking a step towards the you two âIts wasnât her fault.â
âCan you shut it for once!â you snap at her making her stop, bonnie stands up scoffing.
âWhy are yelling at us? Did you forget you nearly died! You donât get to talk.â Bonnie comes standing toe to toe with you. scott and stiles tense at her words though her glare didnât have much effect on derek her words cut him deep more than he like to admit.
You huff âand I was fucking terrified, and I know you were to. And I do get to talk. We were in different situation and you know that too. I know what I was doing unlike you; it was my choice.â
She looks away from you, stiles whisper your name making you look at him. sighing you run your hands through your hair âYou better come clean to grams before I do.â
âWhatever.â
You narrow your eyes at her âBonnie.â
âFine.â
You nod walking towards her you turn her neck she hesitantly let you satisfied with healing you step back bonnie looks at elena and Stefan, elena starts to walk towards you two stepping aside you let them do their thing though your kind a feel bad for snapping at them your pride doesnât let you apologize.
They start to walk towards Elenaâs car âWait.â You walk towards them âdo you have any money on you?â you ask bonnie she shakes her head.
âNo why?â
You search your pockets you always have emergency cash on you âHere, buy some pomegranate juice and any chocolate. It would be good for you.â
She doesnât take it making you sigh âDonât make me repeat againâ she huffs taking the money walking away. âMake sure she drinks it.â you say to elena she nods following bonnie.
You watch as they drive off âNot so fast Stefan.â You turn to the vampire halting him before he can vanish, you turn to him. âAs much as I am grateful for you saving bonnie, itâs your brother who tried to kill her.â
Stefan lowers his head âI apologize behalf of my brother, but I give you my words he wonât hurt her anyone.â
âDid you apologize to Matt Donovan, when you and your brother killed his sister?â Stefan tense, stiles and scott eyes widen at your words.
âDid you?â your voice sharp demanded again.
âI had to do it; I was protecting elena.â he reasoned.
You roll your eyes âAnd who the hell was responsible for turning Vicki. I donât know what kind of weird fetish you both brothers have with elena but leave bonnie out of it.â You clench your fist beside you âbonnie is kind and donât take advantage of that.â
Stefan stiffly nods before speeding away, you unclench your hands with a loud sigh sitting down the stone you run your hands down you face looking at the tomb beneath you dread fills your lungs.
Stiles and scott look at each other before walking towards you âthat was intenseâ stiles mutters derek and scott picks up the increasing heart rate and emotion changing into anger to fear and uncertainty.
âI was right.â your voice comes out wobbly making the three worried stiles quick to join beside you wrapping his hands around you. scott crouches downs in front of you derek walk closer the three of you not far but not too close.
âWhatâs wrong? talk to us.â Stiles squeeze your frame.
âI saw this place; I saw grams dies because some stupid ritual just like what bonnie was doing here.â You choked out shaking in stiles hold. Â You feel like pulling your hair out of its roots.
Stiles says your name tenderly âIt might be just dream.â You shake your head tears starts to fall from your eyes looking at him.â
âNo, stilesâŠ. itâs not a dreamâŠnot anymore you have to believe me. I donât know what to do. I donât want her die.â Scott takes your hands in his.
âItâs okey, we will figure it out. Nothing is going to happen to your grams.â Scott says his wide eyes fixed on your red one. âNow letâs calm down, okey nothing will happen.â
Stiles run his hands up and down on your shoulders âHow about we sleepover at my place, itâs been a while hasnât it.?â
Scott nod stiles pull you up âcome on, I just got notification on new chapter on game I talked about. We can discuss about the methods they use to kill vampires.â Stiles said with an excitement gleaming in his eyes though derek and scott looks at him weirdly but you laugh a little making him laugh as well.
Derek stands watching you and stiles walk away scott soon follow them parting him with nod, for the first time you seem to hide away from his always watching eyes, refusing to let yourself glance at him though he thought he might be okey with it, content with the fact that you donât always returns his glaring eyes with equally heated glares or sassy remarks or even you soft eyes only sets flaming pit of fire on his gut, Its feels uncomfortable to existâŠ.
STILENSKIS HOUSE
Stiles can be chattering box that does not have an off button, you found it amusing and annoying time to time there is no in between. Scott knows that, he also found it insufferable when the two of you engage in mindless banter about something so irrelevant to mind boggling things ranging from the how a total stranger behaved to how the universe is vast that aliens are not green. Stiles is expert at making things lighter with his presences and his never-ending chattering while scott more of attentive with his actions and then there is rare occasions where they both simply exists to make things lighter for you.
Just like now nuzzled between the two scott held bowl of popcorn in his lap, while stiles scroll on his laptop searching for something to watch while you just stay wrapped in blanket. Stiles settle on old movie calming its educational for scott. The movies play its only sound that can be heard aside from the chewing of popcorn time to time.
The three of stay awake until the credits start rolling you sigh sitting straight your eyes heavy shoulders dropping. You lean back âIâll take it derek told you two everything.â
Stiles nod still refusing to speak you know they want to hear to from your lips as well so you exhale âI donât know where to begin with it feels a lot.â
âWe got all night.â Scott says softly handing you your drink you take a sip you thank him before give him it back
âI think its my power connected to someone who also has this power in another world, she said we are the same that our fate is the same has the power that unimaginable butâŠ. losing everyone that I will hold dear toâŠ.it made her a ruthless merciless, became a creature that she loathed all because she tried have her family backâŠthis power isnât great as I thoughtâ you look down at your hands stiles holds your open palm in his hands holding it tightly making you glance at him.
âBut that doesnât mean it will happen to youâ scott nods at stiles words taking hold of your other hand squeezing it.
âI wonât be sure, peterâŠ. He is inside my head. I think he latched on to me somehow when he scratched me at night at school. He saw something that he sure that I would become something far worse than he is.â your voice tremble remembering the sinister grin he used give you but compared to now you feel they are two different person.
Scott and stiles look at each other âPeter is not someone you listen to; he has way getting things done on his whims.â Scott argued âcan you still see him?â
You shake your head âHeâs been silent since last night.â
âWe will figure out how to deal with all this.â Stiles say yawing âwe will be here to pull you back if you went to too deep.â
âYou canât always be there for me.â Your voice lacks any bite just acceptances stiles roll his eyes.
âWatch me.â Stiles lay down stretching âNow shut up and letâs sleep.âÂ
Scott bumps his shoulders with you âWe will figure it out, we always do.â Scott put the bowl away standing up he walks to the bathroom and wash his hands before drying his hands and putting the laptop away mumbling about stiles laziness.
He sighs a smile on his lips when he sees you settles down tugging blanket from stiles who already snoring away.
BENNETT HOUSE
Bonnie sits on her bedroom, she didnât dare to go to grams after what happened nor does she wanna see you, you clearly told her to be anywhere near the Salvatoreâs brothers and she was right you were right Damon is bad news he literally tried to kill her for reason thatâs not even hers, she is grateful that one of brother is not murderous vampire like Damon.
She can still feel his fangs on her neckâthe fear, the loneliness. The fact that she barely survived is still incomprehensible. Is this how you felt as well she groans falling to her bed, a silent tear falls from her face.
