schlatt’s explanation was, in my opinion, the most straight forward and objective. most notably, he sexted fans, only one of which has publicly come forward to my knowledge, however we do know more had similar experiences with him. while the one confirmed we know was 17 at the time, we do not know the others’ ages. this ended up being bad enough for charlie slimecicle to file a police report.

the biggest concern beyond him being a danger to an online community, is what schlatt talks about a lot and in depth: that he lied to his own friends about trying to improve, and manipulated them into enabling him, for somewhere from months to a year.

on top of that, from what some other content creators have said about staying at his airbnb at twitchcon, the experience was a waking nightmare of him tormenting his guests for his own entertainment. he also lied about conversations with another cc, fitz, in which he told fitz it was alright for him to hit on another streamer, kate, but then publicly said kate cheated on him with fitz (he didn’t admit until later that he was never even with kate to begin with) and so his community harassed both kate and more importantly fitz relentlessly. his “comedy” relied primarily on making those around him genuinely uncomfortable, such as using a soundboard to make techno so uncomfortable on stream that he left vc, and then playing victim so his fans would go harass techno. he constantly put down his own friends, which traves got the brunt of that, constantly being mocked in content. none of his behavior was a one-off or little slip, it was constant.

he is fully a dickhead, but one that has used his platform to manipulate fans while simultaneously lying to his own closest friends about trying to get better. him coming back now and saying he’s “gotten help” means absolutely nothing, him having a platform is genuinely harmful to others and himself
