Twin Peaks Rant (spoilers ahead)
DISCLAIMER: DO NOT GET UPSET AT SPOILERS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I looked up the cast for the upcoming, long awaited season 3 of Twin Peaks and I was psyched to see a bunch of familiar faces are returning. However, I am greatly confused with certain characters and their episode counts.
Laura Palmer and Leland Palmer are dead and in The Black Lodge, yet their characters are in all 18 episodes? ...How Often are we going to be visiting The Black Lodge? Are some scenes from the original series going to be reused and that’s why the count is so high?
Lucy Moran is in all 18 episodes but Andy Brennan, her possible baby daddy is only in one? There’s no way Andy moved out of Twin Peaks so what the is up with that? Also, Richard Tremayne, her other possible baby daddy isn’t returning, bummer.
Next we have the hot mess that is the Horne Family. When Twin Peaks ended Ben Horne had been knocked unconscious by Doc Hayward and Audrey had chained herself to a bank vault and a bomb was detonated and we see the windows of the bank being blown out. Are Ben and Audrey alive? The episode counts are no help as each character is said to be in one episode.
Another mystery comes from the fact that Ed Hurley is in all 18 episodes but Norma, Nadine and Mike are only listed to be in one episode. Does this mean Ed got neither of the girls? Does Shelly, who is in all 18, now own the Double R? Did Shelly and Bobby, who is ALSO in all 18, get married? Where’s Leo(0 episodes)? How’s Coop get out of the Black Lodge(18 episodes)? Where’s James(1 episode)? Where’s Donna(0 episodes)? HOW’S ANNIE COOP?! HOW’S ANNIE?!
