what is with the incessant need TVD writers had with making sure all the women were in relationships constantly??? I see it more with Elena and Caroline because JP is racist and doesn’t give a fuck about Bonnie but these are girls in high school, going through supernatural shit, so let’s always add a boyfriend to the mix? I’m sorry but if those two brothers brought their drama into my life, well let’s just say thank fuck im bisexual. I would need a break from those bitches. it’s just insane how the writers are always throwing men on them as if they can’t survive without a man

tvd is unrealistic because how are puppy vampires (100+ year old) beating and winning against ancient vampires that are 500-1000 years old. part of that makes it almost unwatchable because an 100+ year old annoyance shouldn’t be defeating a 500+ year old bad bitch who has learned to be on her own. the fact that Damon creates problems (gets away with it without consequences) that really shouldn’t be there to begin with and is defeating a 1000+ year old vampire is just disrespectful. what else is disrespectful and just lazy writing is a human and a new hunter killing original vampires. I think that’s why the originals is a bit better because they don’t have unnecessary no humanity lines just so vampires can be awful and then excuse as “I didn’t have my humanity” especially when it’s Damon who is literally the same with and without it. y’all were terrible to begin with but okay. the plot armor isn’t as bad as in the originals. you actually get to see the mikaelsons as the chaotic messes that they were made to be.

Damon saying Caroline wouldn’t last as a vampire who happens to be the best managed vampire who doesn’t create any issues with other vampires, stays in her lane, and is probably the best vampire. I don’t care for how she treated Tyler but you can’t deny that she is one of the best vampires that were turned. if everyone would’ve left her alone so she could grieve, she wouldn’t have done all she did. out of everyone, she handled being a vampire the best. she controlled her thirst and hunger almost right away. another important thing is she didn’t go out of her way to be a problem the way Damon does. really showed Damon up when he said she wouldn’t last. Caroline actually turned out better when she became a vampire like her made her character arc better in the long run

it’s fine if you’re a delena fan but get Nina + Paul in a scene for 5 minutes and you’ll be questioning why you were a delena fan in the first place

I find a lot of comparisons between supernatural and the vampire diaries especially with both series being about brothers. hey, I’m not a fan of Sam but both dean and sam would do anything for each other. Damon spends half the series doing shit that would hurt Stefan. maybe they care each other but they’re not that great at being brothers. supernatural is a lot more mature and doesn’t have insane plot armor that TVD has. oh, and Dean pulls off that old style car and cocky attitude and “bad boy” mannerisms so much better.
