#turtle lake

Main street really got me. I’m a sucker for a good main street, especially one with an old Rexall Drug! 

We had a Rexall Drug where I grew up in my hometown and my brother and I loved to go in and look at the kids toys when we were little. 

And sometimes mom would get us cowtails (that’s candy) or caramel apple suckers. 

Isn’t this main street darling? 

Here’s the bowling ally. Looks to be closed and for sale. 

But apparently it has the best food around! 

The hardware store really got me. 

Look at that window display! So creative and funny! Gave me a laugh.

Walk down the sidewalk...

Apparently Turtle Lake has a local paper. 

If you couldn’t tell, there was a thunderstorm coming on when I photographed main.

All blue skies in the other direction though!

I loved this. Today’s Styles! Brilliant name. Because it’s always in fashion!

Moving on to another part of main.

...a Bev’s cafe! It was early evening and it was already closed LOL!

This church appears to be a home now.
