Turren is a hopeless romantic with an upbeat sense of humor. He is also Jorlan's father, therefore Auberon's uncle. Like most of the adults in the tribe, he's had his fair share of the terror of being hunted down and has seen members of his tribe killed, but he's been able to recover miraculously. Part of that, everyone agrees, is due to him falling in love with his wife Adelah. He kisses her passionately every morning, tells her he loves her, and only then will he go about the rest of his morning routine. The peace they gained by making the entire Big Thicket Preserve their home territory has given Turren the confidence that eventually none of their kind will have to suffer again. He also has confidence in Roan's ability to communicate effectively with mankind, something none of them have even bothered trying since the move from the Old World into the New World. If push comes to shove, Turren's willing to fight to keep what's his. He and Avres are best friends.
Turren has no remarkable skills outside his innate Spells, which oddly includes being able to shoot flames from his fingers. He can pair that ability with an Air-based tornado spell from Avres. They've only used that combination once, prompting a wildfire that reached several human farms in the area. He's also a bit of a pyrotechnic geek. Frisk has vowed to never tell her son-in-law her discovered formula for gunpowder.
