OH MY GKD OH MY GOD OKAY OKAY WAIT LET ME GET MY PRESENTATION READY AHEM AHEM

OKAY SO!! xiaoju/小菊 (full name is chuju/雏菊 meaning daisy) is the name of my sibutuye fankid, hes a jackalope and he was gift sent from heaven, literally. heaven delivered his egg to sibuxiang and tuye via express mail😭 ive made a little 2 part comic on how he came to be here! (just check qrts for the second part) (i also have more doodles of him with sibutuye under the #dstxiaoju tag there)

xiaoju doesnt have an exact time frame of when he appeared in canon but i usually draw him somewhere before the events of chapter 800!

hes not really an expressive guy (even as an adult) and seeing him smile is a rarity (i promise hes a very cheerful and happy kid hes just not expressive). he also really hates broccoli and its one of the few food items that hes always avoided from childhood to adulthood lol.

OH OH also even though hes a jackalope (a species that is mostly rabbit) i designed him to be like a pretty equal mix of rabbit and deer, so he doesnt have that buck tooth rabbits have and his ears are shorter than a normal rabbit too! (made a little post about the ears here)

and back to him not having a buck tooth, bc he doesn't have one he cant make statues or figures with his teeth like tuye does so when he was big enough to hold a knife his parents taught him how to carve wood and he took into wood carving! i like to think that in the future hes made a few wooden figures of him and his family and has them displayed on a shelf

HES ALSO LIKE. a chronic deathgripper. like yk how babies have this really weird strength when they grip on things? yeah he has that and it never went away even when he was an adult. the amount of plates and cups he had accidentally cracked/broken throughout the years is more than the amount of weapons and artifacts pipi has ever eaten in decades o(-(

i hope someone writes a starfish fic where trollex gets all sluggish when its winter (bc hes a fish and its cold) and even though all he wants to do is just curl up and sleep he would go outside to play in the snow with viva anyways because he knows she loves the snow

viva knows how tired trollex can get in the snow so she always tries to tell him thats its fine for him to stay inside and they could just hang out inside and drink hot cocoa, but trollex refuses to listen and just wants to spend some time with his gf outside.

so bc hes stubborn, viva has him wear several layers of clothing to make sure hes warm and he doesnt randomly fall asleep in the snow. she checks up on him every few minutes to see if hes okay and trollex brushes it off by shoving a snowball at her face, snowball fight ensues.

and during the fight trollex builds a snow wall and hides behind it as viva throws several snowballs towards him. when she doesnt see trollex come back up she runs over and finds him sleeping behind the snow wall.

she takes him back into her/their house and places trollex on a bed filled with blankets to warm him up, she goes to make hot cocoa for the both of them and she sits down next to trollex, petting his head and humming happily at the day theyve had.
