Okay first off, real original, haven’t seen that one beforeSecond off, as most of my Shidge loving friends can attest to, ever heard of an AU? Canon divergence? Not listening to the “”“canon”“” book?As far as I’m concerned, the Paladin Handbook has too many inconsistencies and wacko information to actually be “canon.” Especially when the authors of is this book (who do not seem to be associated with the show, I looked it up) chose to the use the anti age for Shiro, not even aging him up or down a little.So my conclusions are:

1. The authors are antis or at least pandering to them2. The authors just put down whatever info they thought suit3. The authors know nothing about Voltron and the hell it’s been in the fandom

I came into this fandom late and as a Shidge and Klance shipper (klance was the reason I officially started the show, how ‘bout that?). I thought they were cute and had good dynamics. Hearing what came from SDCC 2016 almost deterred me from continuing on all together in shipping Shidge.As of now though, thanks to @katieshirogane, @meistergao, @orcaspanielmermaids, and many more bloggers (I’m calling all of you wonderful weirdos out) for helping me realize, “screw the antis and their weird logic.”

like, yes. I love that you are fleshing out other characters besides the one the fic is centered around, very cool and amazing and I have no problems with it!! but it gets to a point when the fic just goes like

"and finally, damian felt like he could process what had happened in his childhood. he felt like he could finally be whole with himself, like he could be satisfied with both parts of his soul. but another part of him felt so much guilt about that one time he tried to kill tim. god, he wishes he hadn't done that. if only there was some way tim could forgive him. but tim has already been through too much, such as that one time when jason tried to kill him or the other time when his parents sucked or that one time when joker hyponized him actually lets just switch the pov to tim and he can explain it himself—"
