Tumhari Pakhi
I was so committed to this show until it died in such a stupid way...
Pakhi was such a healthy and well rounded character...besides retaining the ‘naive’ desi heroine that’s home to all lead female characters...
She was intelligent, funny, caring and strong-willed
She actually left the relationship when it became unhealthy.
She did not stay and endure further humiliation as a means of being a good ‘biwi’ or having ‘sanskar’ by remaining at her husbands feet or under his domineering behavior.
She actually met and challenged every hurdle/ task cast her way and proved her mettle against her husband and those that sought to mistreat or harm her.
She was just well rounded....and I wished there was more female characters like her....
