So, I’m playing a DnD homebrew game at the moment and I’m completely obsessed with my own character (as everyone should be).

Her name is Tugend, which is german for virtue, and she got that name from the cult that trained her to be a living weapon. She is recruited from the street cause she successfully pickpockets Morrin, a teacher in the cult, who then confronts and shoots a crossbow bolt at her, which she catches. Everyone has high hopes in this prodigy at first, but she quickly disappoints her teachers by being really slow to learn anything that’s not doing crazy shit with your body. And then she has second thoughts about killing people! Even sinners!

So, as a last resort, problem case Tugend is transferred from Morrin to Rieken, who tries some experimental new techniques, like telling Tugend how proud she’d be if Tugend killed those people she was told to kill. This emotional manipulation works wonderful on the orphan intentionally starved for positive interaction. After years of this, Tugend is in the middle of killing a family, when she gets the idea that maybe Rieken could like her and be proud of her even if she didn’t kill the child. On getting back, that idea is disproven, and Tugend is thrown in a cell. Then she wakes up in an alley between garbage, with no idea how she got there.

So, under the impression that she was literally thrown away, Tugend enjoys her new freedom by immediately trying to find someone new who’d want her. By chance, that‘s a band about to tour that desperately needs a new drummer. Having never seen a drum kit before, Tugend volunteers anyway. Luckily she’s a quick study if it’s not reading or math or social skills or…, but her relationship with the band is still tense on account of being raised by a cult and having lied about the drumming.

Then, after a show with a not so cool audience, the rest oft he band complains about one guy in particular, and Tugend gets a really good idea how she can get her bandmates to like her.

Now we’re at the start oft he campaign, and Tugend is once again desperate to find someone, anyone she can join. She finds our party.

In the first session she apologized about 18 times, and told amazing lies like „I’d totally love to lick this weird demon blood from the wall if you want me to, no really, no worries“ and issued such wonderful apologies as „I’m sorry I provoked you, I know Tieflings have a hard time not being violent because of their demonic heritage“.

Wie erkenne ich toxische Menschen?

Die Mehrheit von uns möchten toxische Menschen in ihrem Leben vermeiden. Dies ist nicht ganz so einfach, wie man es sich vorstellt. Denn toxische Menschen sind meist charmant, manipulativ und nicht zu bemängeln. Ein toxischer Mensch verbringt unverhältnismäßig mehr Zeit damit, in seinem Umfeld nach Mängeln und lästigem Verhalten zu suchen, als ein normaler Freund es tun würde. Freunde, mögen ab…

Zwielicht

Ich laufe aus einem dunklen Treppenhaus raus über den Parkplatz zwischen den parkenden Autos, zwischen Laternen und Schatten und schnips den Stummel zwischen die Scherben und Spritzen

Ich bewege mich zwischen Dummheit und Bildung, fernab meiner Heimat irgendwo zwischen Fremde und Ungewissheit

Zwischen Wahn und Vernunft..

Zwischen Altbauten und Blocks, zwischen arm und reich, schwarz und weiß, entscheiden wir uns jeden Tag zwischen reden oder schweigen, Quali oder Kurs, links oder rechts, ja oder nein.. Ambivalenz

Jakobsleiter oder Jakobsweg... bleib ich stehen oder mach ich weiter?

Denn Zwischen Rythmen und Reimen, zwischen Kick und Snare müssen sich Künstler entscheiden... Für Hype oder Kultur, Geld oder Kunst

Tugend... oder Ruhm.
