How would you feel about Varian x Cass?
On a platonic note? Yeah, Cass would care for Varian, and Varian would care for Cass. I think their silly, and they ARE 2 of my most fav characters within the entire show. I very much see them like Wendy and Dipper, where they had kinda the same thing where not only did Wendy know Dipper liked her, she turned him down because she knew it was wrong (rightfully so,) but still remained really good close friends. I could imagine at one point Cassandra did tell him that they obviously couldn't be together due to their ages, but still remain great friends.
But in an actual shipping standpoint? No, never- Varian is a minor throughout the entire series, being 14 and Cassandra being 22 in season 1 when Varian has his crush for her. While exploring Varians crush on her is fun and silly, as teenagers have these kinds of things all the time and is normal (and if for instance he made a 'move' it's important the adult makes sure to turn them down and let them know it's wrong eventually) but actually pairing the two like love interests? No thanks.
