I like making things and one of the things I like working on is TTRPG's. I only actually aim for one of them to actually go anywhere, the others are just for my entertainment, but it'd be nice if they did go somewhere though.
anyway, in my most recent little project, the thing I'm most proud of is the mechanics for the Artificer wizard, which starts off as a support based around buffs but, over the levels, becomes more and more of a trapmaster and itemcrafter, most of their spells switching from enchantments to runes and glyphs with a multitude of effects such as sight or motion. I designed them like this because I designed the artificer by imagining what I'd picture NPC artificers doing and then trying to think of how I could allow the players to do all the same stuff. it's great and I feel so smart.
