In an exciting sequel to my last post, I want there to be more content about non-dnd TTRPG that arent just the maker promoting it. I love the self promotion, but I feel like that’s all I really see.
Anyone read or play anything weird recently?
Eternal TTRPG Jam - June
The June jam has been decided! We are an ongoing game jam with rotating themes. The focus is on starting a game, planning your scope, and finishing it in a month. If you’ve been looking for a reason to make a game and you want a tight community with some really amazing designers, come join us for the June jam.
Theme: ____-Punk
Genre-Punk is a huge field of potential. Trying to boil it down into one core idea, I end up paraphrasing Austin Walker talking about Gibsonian cyberpunk: it is about people that want some concrete change in the world and are sincere about their efforts to make it happen. That seems like a decent starting point for thinking through these ideas. Consider youth, consider power, consider motivation.
Challenge: Teaching Principles: DIY
Include systems for teaching your players how to make their own content for your game. This could include adventure planning guides, class design primers, monster stat templates, etc.
Starting with the June jam, we're embarking on a series of challenges that focus on how we communicate with our players. These will run through the end of summer and will mostly be framed around teaching players principles of TTRPGs as well ad exploring what those really mean.
Even if you’re not participating this month, come join the Discord and get involved with the community.
A game jam from 2025-06-01 to 2025-07-01 hosted by Rowan Sender. Welcome to the June Edition Eternal TTRPG Jam! This is a game jam for TTRPG
Moving away from itch.io
Hey, due to issues with @itchio flagging my page and quarantining it after updating Ruin Runners regularly, I will no longer be releasing new projects on it. I will still update what is on it however, all new releases will be on Ko-fi, Patreon, Gumroad, and soon DriveThruRPG.
Honestly sad to have to do this as I love all the features, but I cannot simply keep existing on the platform. I've 100 percent missed out on sales due to the Quarantine pop-up. I'm sure this is due to ai moderation that assumes I'm being sketchy due to the platform being for game jams.
Is there any other platforms that I'd be able to sell PDFs?

Who We Are, What We Do, & Why We Do It
Hello Tumblr! We're Delve Candle Company. We hand craft immersive candles for TTRPG players who want to fan the flames of creativity and inspiration during game sessions with scents designed and custom blended to evoke settings and moods encountered during roleplaying adventures.
🕯️We think our candles are special.
🕯️We know how much time and effort we've devoted to making them so. (It's...an extravagant amount).
🕯️We hope that if you give our candles a try, you'll agree.
You can check out our full line of deeply immersive, clean burning, 100% soy wax candles on our website.
And why do we do what we do? Well, we're a wee bit obsessed with the real life magic that happens when you sit down to play a tabletop roleplaying game. There's nothing else quite like it. At their best, TTRPGs are transformative. They are revelatory. They are powerful in all the myriad ways that stories have always been powerful. They are chaos, and mischief, and ultimately just ever so much fun.
They are magic.
And we are completely ensorcelled. So much so that we've created a whole business just so we can contribute, in some small way, to the creation of those unforgettable moments around your gaming table.
We're Delve Candles. We love TTRPGs and the people who play them. We'd be truly honored if you gave our candles a seat at your table and let us join your adventures.
Delve. Because Adventure Awaits!

I kinda wish I was a musician, artist, or video game designer. A flashier form of transfem creative.
But all I’ve got is a weird knack for TTRPG mechanics and decent writing abilities.
So, fuck it. That’s the kind of tgirl dyke I am.
To hold a divinity in your hands. To feel it in your mind and carry it with you. Then, finally, the loss of it. During your time together, the little god will grow; feeding off of the bond that you share. It is little more than an egg for a great power that may some day be born into the world, but you will not see this. The best you can hope is to create some small good in its heart before it leaves you to join the gathering mass of spirits elsewhere.
This is a system agnostic pet raising simulator, a la Chao Garden. It can be played/tracked solo, or alongside the another person who tracks your godlings growth behind the scenes. This was made partially in anticipation of a Fabula Ultima game I will be running in the near future; ergo the design, layout, and references within the game text itself.
This is the second entry in the Games of Nothing series. These small game demos and proofs of concept that are meant to be a space to experiment with design on a very small scale. The Games of Nothing series is a set of micro games that are meant to fill in otherwise empty moments or concepts. They may be called a role playing game, as there is an implicit role that you are asked to play, but they may not fit all definitions of a modern ttrpg. Generally, there is no persistence between sessions of play.
Made for the January 2026 Eternal TTRPG Jam!
I just got through reading Thirsty Sword Lesbians in an attempt to get myself out of Mechanic's Block^TM. I've got Kids on Bikes on deck for the next readthrough.
I'm mostly looking for inspiration from systems that split the difference between the physics simulation of a DND and the narritive driven system in TSL. Anyone have any recommendations?
