Did you know I like card games? It's true. This was an attempt at drawing my good ol' magician girl Tsukiko, in the style of a Yu-Gi-Oh! magician card. Yu-Gi-Oh! magicians have lots of strange shiny orbs and gold trim which was actually pretty fun to add shading and highlights to, once I figured out what I was doing.

I also had to anime up Tsukiko's face, which went against everything I've learned about proper facial proportions and drawing realistic noses. But some sacrifices have to be made.

A disclaimer that I am mildly ashamed of my girl; she defies all laws of canon physics, but I made her in a time of need. And then I recovered from time of need and thought, man, you could be cool…and just decided to season her with my newfound skills of making characters. It’s been aeons and I refuse to let her go. everything upcoming is a reference to my most popular post about me seeing Muzan when I was 13 and saying “father figure” 

Meet Tsukiko…name meaning moon child because demons can’t go in the sun. She definitely totally is not Muzan’s daughter no no that would be crazy (yes she is). I unfortunately like an evil man and his daughter dynamic because evil fictional men are just…primed to be girldads, I don’t make the rules. I kind of also have her in that Tangled vibe where “you’re only safe with me, the outside world is too dangerous. Only I can protect you” because manipulation. She’s also spoiled because I think gifts as a replacement for love are pretty neat. She shrivels up in the sun at the end (#tortureocs). I can answer any question about her because I filled out a giant character sheet. Continuing, her special interest is paint made out of toxic (to humans) ingredients. She’s like 330~ years old, but isolation has stunted her brain in the teenage area. She’s clumsy and trips over air. She is very weak (because she has no real world experience), but really really fast so if ever in danger her tactic is tire the enemy out. She has a fluffy black cat (demon) named Momo who serves as a way to spy on Tsukiko because the curse doesn’t effect her, meaning Momo’s the only way Muzan can see what Tsukiko’s doing at all times. She’s scary because she’s like perfect and has never made a life-threatening mistake (because she is on edge 24/7 and one inconvenience away from falling apart at the seams), so when she sees other demons get killed by Muzan she’s just like “lol losers.” She’s full of hatred for humanity because she thinks they’re the one thing in between her and happiness, because it’s their fault she can’t do anything (and this definitelyisn’t a product of her being manipulated whaaat). I think if she had a conversation with Tanjiro she’d piss him off really badly. Ok that’s a lot and my phone is going to die, have my yap and a picture ❤️
