I hate TGG fans because what do you mean this girl who held a g*n to Avery's head isn't a bad person because she was nice to Gigi .
She also threatened to unalive herself knowing it would trigger Grayson to attempt to manipulate him . She put out the article about the Jameson-Emily-Grayson situation
No wonder people can't stand the characters from the new series
Eve is immoral yes, she is flawed and has wronged other characters yes. But she’s not the only one that did, the only difference between eve and characters such as: zara, thea, grayson, jameson, toby, heck even tobias i have seen praised for complexity, is that while their actions are explained, justified or victimized, eve is villainized. Jameson used his privileges to kick lyra out of the game disregarding that she actually needed that money, grayson was pretty classist to Avery at the start and he himself used emily to manipulate and use Lyra’s sympathy for his own reasons, Toby is partially responsible for the death of 3 teenagers and the blame was placed on an innocent girl instead of him, Zara accused avery of sleeping with her grandfather (a literal child mind you), Thea took part in Avery’s kidnapping and her almost DYING bc she would rather help Rebecca than save Avery’s life.
But all these characters are not as hated as eve, even Tobias and Blake and Sheffield aren’t as hated as her. Just like all the characters i mentioned had a reasoning and explanation behind their actions, Eve did too. She lived her whole entire life neglected and sidelined, she is a love starved child that just wanted 1) security and safety (money) and she lived her whole life learning that she cannot depend on anyone so she sure as hell was not going to keep living under Avery, you might think it’s annoying and you would have accepted it for yourself but it makes sense given her upbringing that she wouldn’t. She wanted her OWN money. 2) she wanted a family and somewhere to belong
Now these are both things that she was not going to get in the Hawthorne house bc tobias chose to ignore her existence, why? Because she is Blake’s granddaughter too, tobias is the one that decided that she’s on the opposing team, blake was the one that took advantage of the desperate and neglected love starved child, her mother neglected her, toby was not present and when he was there he failed to understand her and his love was not enough. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE ONES TO BLAME. THE ADULTS THAT HAVE FAILED HER. She was just a child. All she ever tried to do was look after herself because when adults fail her. Again. And again. And again. What other choices did she have? No one was going to save her and she had to be that person that would put her first.
Eve was in the wrong but her actions are understandable given the context of the situation and eve’s own character. you just don’t care to analyze the situation.
You hate people because they love a character you don’t like? Well that says a lot about so does the fact that you had to be anonymous so you can be disrespectful to others for liking a fictional character. “No wonder people can’t stand characters from the new series” uhhh many people like characters from the new series… and what does that even have to do with eve?
I literally don’t even care whether you love or despise eve’s guts, you’re talking about a fictional character, but if you disagree i am sure you could have worded this more nicely than just going “yea i hate you all and it’s your fault this series sucks” you sound very immature and childish
