Rowan is a close friend of Emi

she is polyamorous and decided to use artificial insemination in order to raise a child on her own

Rowan and Lorraine are Emi’s ride or dies but Rowan is currently in the middle of an affair

despite being married to Gage, Robyn has carried on a long-term open relationship with Rowan since before the marriage 

she’s still roommates with Lorraine but they have plenty of space so they’re continuing to live together and even considering getting another roommate

however, Gage is still unaware of the affair
