1. Which book would you consider the best book youβve ever read and why?
not to be a cliche theatre kid, butΒ les miserables, hands down. i was introduced to the stage musical when i was young and the narrative struck such a strong chord with me that i immediately went to go read the book, and iβve been in love with it ever since. for all of mr. hugoβs faults, the prose is just absolutely beautiful and, god, the characters, the plot, everything--i still marvel at it. i think itβs such a timeless story about love and sacrifice and belief in the face of cruelty and it will probably remain my favorite for a very, very long time.Β
