If you ever want eighties nostalgia despite the fact that you weren’t born in that era then this is the album for you. Com Truise’s album In Decay is the perfect answer to the question ‘is there any good keytar music?’ With his wonderfully unique combination of sampling and original use of synths and bounce in and out drum tracks Com Truise weaves us a journey that can best be described as what the astronaut must have felt as he went through the wormhole in 2001: Space Odyssey. However it’s not just about the music, fans of Com who have attended his shows will tell you all about the incredible way the music is presented and how artistic everything is. This gives us the listener even more depth to a genre that many of us take for granted. Overall, a fun album to listen too, especially if you want to forget about living for a while.
