𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 Here’s the @bigfernand_uk Christmas burger for this year, and it’s joined the Christmas truffle hype! It’s a @hgwalter beef patty with Mont d’or cheese, and @artisan_de_la_truffe sauce. I went double, and I do actually recommend it for this burger. It’s full of cheese and truffle so the extra helping of meat balances it out a bit. 𝙂𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙙 🍔 Do you know what we don’t see enough of? Pizza restaurants with burgers on the menu 🍕. That’s why @japes have come out of lockdown with a whole new menu. Keeping all their deep dish pizzas exactly in the same place, they now have a whole choice of burgers, 9 to be exact, with 3 being chicken. In addition to your regular choices they have a truffle cheeseburger, a spicy bacon cheeseburger, and a hot cheeseburger. Japes are going one step further and baking each bun individually to order in their pizza oven. The buns do come out as a crust roll, and I’m not hating on this, I actually don’t mind a burger in a crusty roll at all. Jovanas home made sauces are dope; the truffle mayo, special sauce, and buttermilk ranch go great with the burgers. Japes is definitely pizza first, burgers second, but it’s great that they now have the second option.
